Great service and menu. This place is way better than Fogo because the meats are cooked nicely. Specifically, you don't get a "fuel kerosene gassy" aftertaste. I will start off by saying we did come in an hour before close so we think everyone was just ready to go home but regardless we could feel it. Our server dropped off our first set of drinks and then didn't come back for another 25 minutes .. still hadn't brought us the waters that we asked for when we sat and once we asked again for waters 30 minutes later he said he would bring us some and then proceeded to stand at the host stand and lay on it for the next 10 minutes until the bartender decided to bring us our drinks because they sat there for so long. After that he only checked on us to bring us the check. The employees that you have serving us our hot food were great no complaints super nice and attentive. The food was good nonetheless but because of the service we experienced we will not be coming back. read more

Part 3 of 3 of R in my alphabet series for R is for Rodizio Grill. I mentioned in my prior review for Ruta in Bethesda, that I went here at Rodizio the very next day, Sunday, February 23, 2025. I've come here every February since 2023 to use my birthday deal, which is a BOGO deal. It's expensive to pay full price for each person, so it's a once a year event for me. In February 2023, I went on Saturday, February 18, and my friend was significantly late. He was nice enough to come all the way from DC. I think he Metro/Uber all the way to Annapolis Mall. Unfortunately, I couldn't take him back to a Metro or even MARC as it wasn't in the direction I was going after. We enjoyed the amazing meal. They have some various buffet for their weekend brunch like eggs, waffles, salad, & various other mostly great items. The main event here are the MEATS! There are various servers that bring various meats. There is a block to indicate what you want to do with these servers. Green block side up means keep bringing meats over, Red means Stop, skip the table until you are ready to turn to Green side. Block on side means you're completely stuffed and ready for the bill. They have a lot of meats that come around various beef, steak, chicken, & unfortunately a lot of pork items that come out (which I don't eat); my friend from 2023 said yes to the pork. We were there for the lunch but because he was like 45 minutes, we got a bit of the additional dinner options but at the lunch price. On Saturday, February 17, 2024, once again another birthday deal. This time I recruited a small group of us, just 4. Two friends and one of friend's girlfriend. My girlfriend & I were only 2 dates in at this point, so I felt it was a bit too soon for her in this mix at this point. Once again, another great meal! 2025 was interesting. My birthday deal comes in early February, and they give about 2 weeks to expiration, which is about 2/21 or so. Unlike in 2023 & 2024, Valentine's Day 2025 was a Friday & part of the Valentine's weekend. Unfortunately, the coupon excludes holidays which includes the entire Valentine's weekend. I had my birthday party on Saturday, 2/8; so that wasn't going to work. Sunday, 2/9 was Super Bowl, and I would've made work if I had to but wouldn't have been ideal as Annapolis was opposite direction of Super Bowls and wouldn't have enjoyed the food being served there as I would've been full from the copious amounts of food consumed. Also, weekdays would be very difficult. I called the manager and explained my situation and that my birthday being close to Valentine's screwed me over on the deal. I asked him if it could get extended until Sunday, 3/2, which he said that's fine and tell the server that manager (I wanna say Chris but don't quite remember) said it was good. My girlfriend & I ended up going on Sunday, 2/23. We both loved all the meats we consumed as well as the normal buffet area. I look forward to coming back in February 2026. read more

Had lunch here today and overall not bad. Got seated right away and the staff explained to us how it worked. The meats started to roll out and everyone was really nice. The options of meat were limited but the salad bar had great variety. My only concern was the knives they use to cut the meat, it was a little too close to my face for my liking. read more

We went to Rodizio's for my cousin's surprise birthday dinner. The service was good -- our waitress was very kind and friendly. The experience was great as well. I would say pace yourself because you can get full very fast. The ambiance was definitely family friendly. They sing a great birthday song as a staff which you might hear a couple times during your dining experience. I would say closing out the check could have been better. Love Rodizio's for the meat and roasted pineapple! The staff is excellent and the food is good. I have to say out of all the Brazilian steakhouses; Rodizio's makes a celebration feel special. They sing the birthday song with drums and all! Fresh sides at the salad bar. Cheese bread is always fresh and don't forget to get bottomless limeades! Rodizio's will spike it for you and or add flavors such as strawberry, mango, etc. If you've never been to Rodizio's, note, it is not in the mall. It is located outside of the mall on the movie theater side (the gps is deceiving). Reservations are not required, however feel free to make some if you have a good size party and if it's a special occasion. read more

We are regulars at Rodizio's, we generally eat a carnivore/ketovore diet and LOVE Rodizio's. The restaurant just keeps getting better! We love the variety! This evening the pork belly was unctuous and perfectly done! The new presentation of the beef tender was perfect and the picanha was tender and juicy as always! I enjoyed the parmesan chicken with a crispy crust and juicy chicken. Service was excellent as always! Always our go to for a great meal! read more

This was good, not great, but good. I've had better. Service was interesting and good. The 2 guys serving the meat were nice. One had a little too much beard for my liking if your serving food. He was nice. But also cake to the table using cartoon or different voices every time. I appreciate you liking your job. That's always a good thing, but the different voices where it's hard to understand what your are serving is a tad juvenile. Just not the right time and place. Perhaps if this were Medieval Times. LOL For the food, the salad bar and hot bar were ok. But who goes for that? The skewered meats were just ok. No lamb was served at all. The beef skewers were good. The ham was just ham. The pork good. The chicken was fine. Would we return? Probably not. Fogo is a much better experience with much more of a variety of meats. read more

This was more than just dinner-it was a fun eating experience unlike any other. We totally enjoyed it! Was the steak worth a special trip here if you are in the mood for a good steak? no. You'd do much better around the corner at Stoney River. Or head down Rt 2 to The American Steak House. Was the chicken worthy of this choice? perhaps. Both the bacon wrapped and the sweet and sour were wonderful. Was the ham destination worthy? YES! The best ham we have ever had hands down-wow. The grilled pineapple was delicious too. The salad bar was plentiful and fresh but I would have liked another dressing choice. (perhaps replace one of the white ones with a tomato based) The mac and cheese was very tasty but cold. The buttered corn was a bit addictive and I ended up eating way too much of it. But my favorite food-and one that will draw me back, if only for carry out-was the creme brulee. I've had many of these over the years and never one this outstanding. The addition of the orange flavor to the burnt sugar topping is genius. I found the silly voices of the waiter as irritating as another reviewer on here. I came to the conclusion that it is not something the restaurant does but rather a quirk of this man. He was sweet and helpful so I think he has an unusual eccentricity. It was impossible to understand him when he switched voices. But it is not a deal breaker for us-service was outstanding and the proteins kept coming in rapid succession as long as our green box was up. Price is a bit of an issue. We can certainly afford $50 ish per person but as older patrons we just can't eat very much so it seems such a waste. (Wouldn't a senior citizen deal be a big draw???) Went on a Sunday afternoon. Not busy at all. Wife and I decided to do an early Valentine's Day date. The food was phenomenal. We decided to do the whole experience. The open buffet was great. A lot of options and all tasted great. The plantains and one of the pastas they had was very good. Great service from all the people going around with the meats. One that stood out was Robert he was very friendly and very attentive to the guest and what we wanted. We told him how we wanted the meat cooked and which one and he was on it! My husband and I attended this restaurant for the very first time tonight! We met another couple there for dinner. We had a great time! We have been to another very popular chain that has the same kind of concept, but this is our first time at this particular restaurant chain. From the moment we walked in until we walked out the door. We had a wonderful experience. The hostess was very welcoming and polite. Moments after we were seated and settled our waitress, Emily, came over to introduce herself and explain how everything worked. She was very friendly and personable, but also very thorough and making sure we understood everything and answered all of our questions As soon as we were ready, the staff started coming over, offering us all of the different delicious meats they had to offer. Everything was amazing. All of the steaks were tender and moist. I tend to prefer medium rare, and so I was very pleased. The lamb was a little dry, but still very good. My husband enjoyed all of the same things I had, in addition to the spicy chicken and pork. He said that they were fantastic We ended the meal with a huge dessert. We only needed to order one, and it was more than enough for him and I both. This is not the kind of restaurant we would go to on a regular basis, but more for special occasions. It probably had something to do with the kid cooking in the back (without a hair net) and he was on the texting on his phone for the entire time we where there. We came here for dinner on restaurant week and had a good experience. The salad bar had fresh ingredients and everything I tried was tasty. There were several meat options and they were all cooked to the desired temperature and full of flavor. Robert was the best gaucho and really went above and beyond to make sure our diners with food restrictions (allergy not preference) were taken care of. It was a Tuesday night but the place was a little dead, which is a little unusual for a restaurant week offering. With that being said, the place was clean and inviting. If I can rate them zero... I would. **WARNING ** If you want good food that's worth every penny-- this is NOT the place. First off, they are charging Fogo de Chão prices but the quality of food, atmosphere and overall service is nowhere near Fogo de Chão. Every time the meat would come to your table which seems like eternity... there's not much meat left on the stick. Atmosphere - for the prices that they are charging, you would think you would walk into a Ruth Chris, Morton's or a Fogo de Chão-- save your money if that's what you're expecting. It's nothing but an Apple Bee's. Not saying Apple Bee's is a bad restaurant-- but I think I get what I pay for when I walk into that restaurant. Service - OMG!!!! Horrible- to say the least. It was a Friday afternoon when my husband and I walked in Rodizio. They asked if we have reservations, which we didn't. But I didn't think it's required since the place was half empty. Yet, the host told us that there's a wait and there's two people ahead of us. Our wait is not that bad... maybe 15-20 minutes. BUT, I didn't see anyone getting seated before us and the table that was meant for us has been empty since we got there... we waited for????I don't know. We spent about 1.5 hours in the place and like I mentioned above... all the meat that was offered was two kinds of steak, a chicken wrapped in bacon, some type of fish and a Brazilian sausage. I have to admit-- at this point I was Hangry. I called the waiter to get my check. Even he knew something is wrong. So he insisted on getting the manager. Then she had the audacity to try and charge me two salad bars-- my husband didn't even eat a morsel. And even at that... she charged me $30. ( I only ate two plates since I was saving my appetite for the steak, if I knew I would get that much charged-- I would've filled myself). Needless to say, I left the restaurant over paying and still hungry. My husband wrote a bad review on google and the only reply they can give was--- to give them another chance. I have been coming here since it first opened. Really enjoy the atmosphere. I love the different meat options especially beef options. My most recent visit tonight however really bumemd me out. The server sat us on the bar area which I was hesitant on but I was told there was no seating. Yet ironically another party came shortly after us and the table for 2 they got was already vacant. I could see it across from the high top table. Why we didn't get it first despite already set is beyond me. Anyway, about 15-20 mins in all these meats were coming around and only 2/15 batted an eye at us. I had to go up front and luckily the manager appeared. I told him how disappointed I was (I mean you would be too if you dropped $40 for this experience to eat as much protein as you want). The manager made it right and informed the servers and the manager was kind enough to give us half price for the dinner tonight. I appreciate the manager's attentiveness and still recommend coming here. But one things for sure, I will NOT sit at the high top bar table ever again especially when there's perfectly fine table for two ready to go. read more

I will say the food is expensive. I really liked the glaze ham, the chickens, pork sausage, and chicken heart. The filet Mignon, lamb and the beef were little tough to eat. This was our firs time here. We came for a birthday and it was a great surprise to us all. The staff was very nice and patient with all of us. I think his name was Landon, he was great! It was empty, but the restaurant is spaced nicely, very clean and I liked that when I asked questions, they were able to answer, or find the answer on spot. The sirloin, the ham, the pineapple, sweet Lord the pineapple, and some of the items at the salad bar (ceviche, shrimp salad) Misses: No staff wore masks. Went here for Thanksgiving lunch and everything was great! Food was awesome just as I remembered from our 1st visit. I especially enjoyed their salad bar and of course the parade of different cuts of meat. For anyone with a half decent understanding of churrascarias, do yourself the courtesy and avoid this one at all costs. First and foremost, Rodizio Grill should be denied the luxury of being branded a "Brazilian steakhouse". Of course, it has all the components: salad bar, red/green service indicators, a comprehensive meat selection etc. but lacks the authenticity that glues all those pieces together to create the magic of a true Brazilian steakhouse experience. The first thing to discuss was the pao de queijo (cheese bread), which is a quintessential churrascaria item that should be served fresh and table side, instead, they were stored at the salad bar and looked like they weren't replaced since the day prior. The salad bar was decent. I will say, however, if you are a cheesehead who enjoys all the varieties of cheese Brazilian steakhouses typically offer, you will be extremely dissatisfied to learn Rodizio Grill only boasts one cheese: parmesan. Now, the meats. Or should I say the lack there of. If you wanna get one thing right as a "Brazilian steakhouse", it's the meats. Customers come to be swarmed by gauchos and have a constant supply of fresh and hot meats prepared to the temperature of their liking. There were about 6-7 tables all being served by one gaucho, who was extremely nice, but admittedly seemed like it was his 1st day. The meats were served at various temperatures and worst of all at a rate which left even my baby niece crying from hanger. This place needs to implement some big changes if it wants to remotely compete with authentic churrascarias in the area. Perhaps hiring a Brazilian to work at the Brazilian steakhouse would be a good start? P.S. an investment in a knife sharpener or two could help the picanha skewer not look like it was carved with a chainsaw. read more

They have NO idea what a Brazilian steakhouse "Churrascaria" is. Most Brazilian steakhouses are about high quality customer service and showing off the wonderful flavors of Brasil. This place is a great value Fogo de chao. My family and I went on Veterans Day, and while they didn't seem busy, the service received was that of a busy staff. We were sat 10minutes after our reservation time, no biggie and was immediately greeted by a server who gave us an intro. He told us he was helping our server since they were busy, love good teamwork. Mid way through our meal; we received another server whom was helpful. She closed us out but at the end she said she wasn't our server either. With that said, my question is, who was our server? Con's: We didn't see much attention with the skewers until I told I told one of the gauchos I'll pay him. Majority of the meat we saw was overcooked or severely undercooked. We received a lot of cold food. Not much variety; it was very obvious they were pushing cheaper cuts of meat. For the extra $10; I'd go to fogo or better selection and flavor Management presence was lacking, i saw the GM at the host stand but he wasn't interacting with customers or doing table checks to verify satisfaction Pros: Most of the people we spoke with were nice Gauchos were personable, the one I offered to pay wouldn't take the money, he just wanted us to enjoy the experience. First visit! This place exceeded my expectations. Leah, our server, was VERY attentive and on her game; she did a great job. The meat revers were very diligent and ever flowing by our table. I will leave my first review at the end of this one. SERVICE: I Recently visited with my two teens for my birthday, not realizing it was restaurant week. Being restaurant week should not have made a difference though. Our table must have been enclosed with an invisibility cloak. 90% of our time there, our plates were empty and we watched the servers offer meat to the tables on either side of us then move away though our marker was green. We managed to obtain two small pieces of banana during our entire visit of almost two hours. When our server or the manager checked on us (3x) I clearly noted the absence of food with no obvious change. After 45 minutes of having our marker green we had sampled 4 meats, all being offered to totally empty plates. My kids finally actually hinted that I should make a power move to help obtain food which is something they never want me to do. The quality of the food on the salad bar was good. The cheese puffs and the bananas were yummy but not as light as those served at Fogo de Chao. Loved the sweet and spicy chicken (1st meat obtained) and the beef tender (last meat obtained 1.5 hours later). The rest of the meats were 'meh'. When we finally scored some pineapple, it was warm but without a good glaze as that had been given to the table next to us. (Who rarely had a problem with empty plates - the gauchos literally would have needed to spin 180 degrees on a dime to serve us). They managed to rescue two stars by honoring my birthday meal and request for no drums but in the future I will be hard-pressed to choose this location over almost any other place. Very disappointing. *** previous review *** would give this a 4.5 if that was an option. We had a great experience here. The service was excellent. The salad bar was amazing with a fresh array of salads and fixings including a soup of the day (a puréed carrot) which was delectable. The gauchos brought the meat around. The selection of options exceeded our expectations. My favorites were the prosciutto glazed ham and the grilled pineapple. The only thing that kept this from a 5 was my tendency to be a bit of a beef snob. I found the beef cuts to be a bit tougher than I like. The Main attraction for which the restaurant is know for is the great selection of meats. My group of 5 tastes varied from Well Done to Very Rare. All of us were delighted to have the variety of meat hand carved right in front of us. We came for Saturday brunch and we had a nice time. The restaurant wasn't packed so we received great service and took our time enjoying the food. I made reservations so when we came in, we were greeted by 2 nice staff who brought us to our table and then minutes after, our waitress came and explained to us 2 menu choices which are: 1.) Salad bar only (no meat) for $17.99 2.) Full Rodizio (unlimited meat) for $29.99 These are brunch pricing, dinner prices are different. We ordered the full rodizio so we got unlimited meat, full access to the salad bar, never ending sides brought at out table and i thought it was nice that for brunch they had additional waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, grits, biscuit and gravy and sausage. And i have to say this, waffles are the best! You have to try them! There were only 2 Gauchos bringing meats to our table the whole time we were there but they made sure we got all the meat we would want to have. Meats were flavorful, we had variety of steak, chicken and pork and they were all good. The grilled pineapple is truly a must try! As for the salad bar, choices are plentiful! From pasta salad, seafood salad, veggie salad, name it all, they have it. They also have tons of cheeses to choose from and even serve soup of the day.
