Was in the mood for some Hibachi Grill and buffet style food so we came to the SPB. The service is on the slow side but the waitresses were polite and the food is not bad. Its average buffet with Asian and American style foods. I got my hibachi which was really good and the ribs were tender. Soups weren't that good. I never tried scallops and ventured into trying their stuffed scallop which is cooked (can't do raw). Surprisingly it was good and so were the soft shell fried crabs. Some of the chicken meats were really chewy and touch that I had to take it out from my mouth using the napkins. They do five enough napkins and there's more at the front counter. I will have to say though, I had far better buffets in my life with the same price point (it was $30 for two ppl with one hot tea at SPB). read more

Seafood Palace is my go to buffet in the area. They have all of the essential food items I expect from a Chinese buffet. If you come here and get overwhelmed by the variety of food let me tell you what to get. Galbi - Korean marinated short rib. That stuff is fire flame and would cost you quite a bit to order directly. Fried plantains - Sweet, delicious, and has a great meaty bite to it. Fried shrimp - So good I eat it shell on head and all! Boiled crawfish - If you get them while they are fresh they are some of the best you can get at a buffet! Hot and Sour soup - Many buffets get it wrong. Even Seafood Palace is inconsistent at times but when it's good it is GOOD. That perfect amount of hot and sour you look for. There is so much more to try at Seafood Palace but these are all you need to have a good meal! read more

I was in the mood for shrimp, tons of it. Yelp led me here, and thank goodness it did. Spacious, meaning tons of seating. This is a standard Asian buffet with the added bonus of seafood. I started with steamed shrimp, butterflied shrimp (fried), and the real winner of the night- the fried shrimp (kind with the head on). The fried shrimp was so flavorful, I found myself frustrated I couldn't eat it fast enough. Everything was fresh and plentiful. Like many buffets, it is hit and miss, when it comes to the food being hot and fresh. Some foods are great, and some have been sitting out for a long time. Overall, this place is good. Kind of up and down roller coaster ride. Sometimes good, sometimes not so good. But, if you just want something fast and want to avoid delicious fat burgers and gut busters, this restaurant might work. The last time we went a week or two ago, they were fairly good. If we are talking about seafood buffets then we all should set our standards to those of a buffet caliber. I was completely ready to endure a meal where it all felt good going in and halfway through the meal I'm over it...however that wasn't he case at this place. I believe this place is fairly new and judging by the early reviews everyone has had a pleasant visit and surprise. Nothing on the buffet looked outta place or old. Items were refreshed often and too my surprise the fried oyster actually tasted fresh as if they were shucked that morning. I didn't stay long as I came for a quick dinner but for the price it's the best value you can get. I missed quite a few items on the buffet as I knew I would return after trying the self beef carving station. This place is a winner for now and I hope it stays that way. Seafood and Buffet don't belong in the same sentence. Food was not good. Servers were rude! Didn't want to grab nor refill our drinks. I read a few reviews before heading in and thought how bad could it be? The furniture and chairs were just so cheap and the price was far too expensive for how God awful the food was. $13.99 and $2.34 if you want a drink. I however, opted for the waters but still, the price came out to be $29! For $29, I hope that I'm getting the best food. The crabs smelled rotten like they had sat in lukewarm water for at least a few hours, the chocolate "fondue" was just chocolate syrup and they only put out warm (not toasted) marshmallows to dip them in. The salmon and tuna sushi looked dry, the raw oysters were extremely deflated, the crawfish I could squish between my fingers rather than crack plus, they had absolutely no flavor. The ribs looked like they had been sitting out for quite some time, oh and the fruit! The watermelon had a yellow crust on the sides and were super dry, the cantaloupe and melon were both way too squishy, and the kiwi was rock hard. The mac n cheese tasted so cheap like the powdered box mixes you can buy anywhere! I agree with other reviews, the food was just cold and that in it of itself is not a good sign. It's the same food each time. As my parents like to call buffets like these, it's a "feeding trough" so if that's what you like then go for it! Low quality to say the absolute least! read more

Brand new had to try as my wife and I love Chinese and a buffet too yum yum. The restaurant is very clean and there are quite a few options. But not much Chinese (and this is supposed to be a all you can eat Chinese restaurant) and as far as taste, I have certainly had better at other buffets as it was kind of bland (not the worst I've had but not the best either just kind of so/so). I think the best thing going is the hibachi to be honest. But for the price IDK...I don't think I'll be back as my wife wasn't thoroughly impressed either and she is a HUGE Chinese fan. read more

Nice options and price point. Everything LOOKS so delicious, however the flavor of everything is lacking it's like the lowest of quality ingredients. All the seafood items taste very fishy, even the fruit and fries tasted fishy. Pretty sure they use the same water and oil for everything. Place was clean and food kept warm. The habachi station looked like it might give you food poisoning . The meats and fish were just laying out in the open on a tray.. overall I will not be going back or recommending to any friends. This particular location was an old country buffet before the new owners opened. The prices are about the same as before, maybe one or two dollars more per person. There is a huge variety of foods to choose from, servers bring you your drinks (fountain pepsi products). There are traditional American-Chinese food dishes, tons of fresh seafood including steamed crabs. They don't necessarily have master sushi chefs but the price per person is a great value if you aren't very critical. There is also a Hibachi grill but I haven't ever seen anyone order some. I don't think that folks in this area are very familiar with Hibachi. The last thing I would like to talk about is the remodeling. Me and my family patronized the location for many years before Seafood Palace Buffet moved in. They spent a lot of money making the establishment beautiful. The tile looks great and the bathroom has been updated. They mounted a few televisions in the restaurant and also added some rgb strips and textured some of the walls. Read some review before I went here but some of the few views are right the food is cold is not hot at all. The place isn't that clean and the seafood is not fresh at all you can taste the fishy dead smell in the seafood. It's probably the worst seafood buffet that I've been to. Saw online, pictures and reviews sounded good...took the family on a Thursday night. Pleasantly surprised! Not very crowded (maybe corona virus scare) but that's good for a buffet!! Food looked delicious! Lots and lots of seafood choices lots and lots of fried choices! The service was on point and kept glasses full. They had Dungeoness Crabs which I love those legs! First visit, tonight at 6:50pm: I'm upset that I have to give this 1 star. I was so disappointed and actually repulsed by the taste and quality of the food, I seriously considered asking for a refund. My teenagers had 2 plates, trying to find something just "decent", but gave up after trying so many inedible dishes. Things were either mushy, dried out, or tasted awful. If you are looking for casual dinning, all you can eat, affordably (and safely) this is the place for you. I believe Seafood Palace caters so that's a plus, and, seems to be a hit with the Senior crowd; it offers a discount for that set, as the military, and, is very family friendly. Several food stations include maki sushi, hibachi, comfort food, American Chinese, salad bar, desserts, seafood, raw bar and soup which appeared fresh & well kept. They also allow you to carry out by the lb. (and offer specials like crawfish & crabs on certain days. Not a bad option, if you're looking for variety and value... or maybe you want to mix up Chinese take, out with soul food and take it to go. Will never eat at this place again. The food is not bad at all but what grossed me out was the hibachi cook. He was cutting raw meat and cooking at the same time and let me mind you there is a sink behind the grill which he didnt use at all. I visited this place last summer with family, the food and service was ok. My 2nd time here, I accompanied my family to celebrate my cousins birthday. The guy at the register was rude and not too welcoming, I was completely thrown off by his attitude and would have left if I wasn't there for a celebration. I complimented him on the way they reorganized the place, he looked at me with no expression, never said thank you or acknowledged my comment. After sitting down, I waited at least a .5 hour for a glass of water, after having to ask for it 2x. They do not believe in extra napkins and the food was HORRIBLE!
