Extremely slow wait time! The place is nice and clean inside. I wish they would have let me know how slow it was going to be -- I would have gone somewhere else. The food presentation is nice but everything, the sandwiches and pizza, was cold. Waited 25 minutes and all the food was cold. What a disappointment and a shame. read more

Came for a quick "to go" breakfast for the road. I ordered the Balsamic Tomato Avocado Toast ($10) and it was better and more generous that I expected. Turns out the owners are the same as SeaQuake Brewing....which also serves great food. My bride ordered the Lemon Cookie ($3) and said "it's the best cookie I've ever had"....which is a major statement from my wife. Crescent City is a bit of a dusty jewel. Great location but a lot of dust. This is a great example of what it can be and let's hope it starts a trend. After experiencing the local 4th of July Parade for the first time, and nearby market in the park. My family and I decided to stop in for lunch for the first time as well at SeaFront Baking Company. From first sight after entering, I could tell this place is very popular. When we arrived there were a few people in line already, but there were another of people grabbing dessert from the ice cream/coffee pickup area, and people sitting in the tables in the main area and the back area. As we got closer to ordering, the line got a lot longer. SeaFront Baking Company (SFBC) has a lot of locals & tourist needs with their various swag, and branded treats which I think is a really great idea. Plus SeaFront provides various foods and sweets, along with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. My group and I ordered the following: DRINKS: Claw Tails Tropical Mai Tai FOOD: Big Foot Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza Queen Mary Pizza Bahn Mi sandwich DESSERT: Iced Vanilla Coffee Iced Mocha Coffee The pizzas were delicious! One unique thing about their pizzas that I have seen anywhere else, is how they slice their pizzas. I order that employee at the counter was the slice count wad for their various pizza sizes, and she couldn't give an accurate number but explained it's because their pizza slices are "diamond shaped". I stead of the standard slices of pieces that that even cut across and around the pizza. She was able to tell us is a pizza would or could feed multiple people or not. So the Queen Marry we ordered for 2 people, while the Big Foot Hot Honey, we ordered a small each for our boys. The pizza were hot and crispy and very filling. The Queen Mary had an interesting Pizza jam and sounded really appealing and different form the typical slices. And was paired well with the Jalapeño, giving the pizza a nice sweet & spicy balance. Overall: Friendly and helpful staff, great food & iced coffees. And the desserts cooked delicious as well, but to were too full to try any, lol...butayne next time. I'm really glad we stopped here. Coming to SeaFront Bakery right at opening was the perfect way to start the morning. We were driving up to Seattle and staying at a beach motel about half a mile away--it was beautiful out, and walking over in the early morning light felt peaceful and cozy. Walking in, I was instantly charmed. The place is super cute--like a warm, indie diner that feels homey but modern, like a millennial owns it in the best way. I got totally distracted by all the little trinkets and ended up buying a ton of stuff. Everyone working there was incredibly kind and helpful, giving us tips on where to go and what to check out in Crescent City. Service was amazing, and the whole place just had a great energy. The music, the layout--everything was on point. And yeah, the food--almost forgot. I got the hash brown bowl (can't remember the exact name) and it was huge, especially for the price--around $10-$12. I had a big appetite and still couldn't finish it. It was just good, hearty comfort food: hash browns, gravy, hot honey, egg--can't go wrong. Holy burrito! I was expecting a single serving size. What I got was a foot long burrito that was enough for 3 meals. It was delicious! I also got a simple vanilla latte and it was perfectly hot when it came out. No need to wait until it cool off before taking that first sip. We love this relatively newer hip restaurant/bakery place very much. It's the second restaurant owned and operated by the group of people who own the iconic Seaquake Brewery and Bar and Pizza Restaurant, which is my other favorite restaurant. I come here quite frequently because all other restaurants in the area is either closed or permanently shut down. The restaurant is clean, well staffed, increasingly better and busier. The service is very prompt and professional. The price is easy for my dwindling billfold. We had a Cuban sandwich with fantastic buns and plenty pulled pork and ham. The melted cheese was warm and delicious. The extra side tatter tots were the best part. The chicken pesto pizza was cut so weirdly but somehow it was perfect. I love this place. The beer was fantastic. I don't know why, but this isolated seaside forgotten corner of the small community better count themselves lucky to have a Michelin Star restaurant in their midst of slow decay. Me and my partner ordered a sandwich and salad after a 7 hour road trip into crescent city. Our appetite was strong because we had only a small snack in the middle of our trip. We orders the Turkey Pesto and Cubano, beach bites, and loaded tots. The sandwich's were quite tasty. This place is for lack of a better word was charming. I loved the food options and them being so creative with their selections. It was over the thanksgiving weekend so they had this turkey. I got stuff in ball type appetizer with turkey gravy, but I just missed out on it so we ended up ordering the turkey pizza which was like roasted turkey stuffing bits of cranberry cheese obviously, I mean it was delicious. I expected something else I expected it might have been overpoweringor just lacked something, but it was actually delicious. It was. It was great actually the pastries they also very delicious. I was actually thinking contemplating going there for breakfast that same day but ended up going to a diner because I figured they didn't have a typical traditional liked type pancakes French toast breakfast there, but ended up going there for a little late or early dinner option late lunch and it was so pleasant. This place absolutely slaps. As a tourist coming in, everyone said Crescent City sucked and I was truly surprised at how right they were, especially compared with Arcata and Eureka further south. However, into our bleak despair of breakfast options arose SeaFront, like a shining star. The inside is modern and bright, the coffee is good, and the food FUCKS. My girlfriend and I both got the breakfast sandwich (i.e. South Beach Sandwich) and it was sooo good. Bacon, perfectly cooked egg, cheese, arugula, and delicious sauce, all on a rich, buttery croissant. Truly one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had! I almost took off a star for them being closed on Sundays (what?!) but our one meal here was too good to do that. This is the perfect place to fuel up and plot your redwoods adventure! read more

Got there and picked up the breakfast menu. Mulled over our decisions then got in line to order. Apparently, breakfast ends at 11:30, we were ready to order at 11:35. Would have been a good idea if they pulled those menus earlier. However, there was a hot case with some grab and go breakfast burritos and bagel sandwiches. A friend and I shared two sandwiches, the smashed sausage on a buttermilk biscuit and the Seafront sandwich with bacon, lettuce, and an egg on a croissant bun. Both sandwiches were delicious, but the smashed sausage was over the top a winner! All the scones looked great and were on special (4 for $9), but I was too full to have any. The whole place was filled with light and so lovely. Definitely a great place for breakfast or lunch. If you wake up on the wrong side of the bed, this place will make it right! read more

Minus one star in this department because there was some disconnect between ordering the cookies and receiving them. I waited about 10 minutes, although there was nobody in line or at the counter. I get this is a self-service place. From ordering, picking up your food, grabbing your silverware and condiments and then bussing your table. What I don't appreciate is having silverware missing, letting the staff know while I ask for a fork and being told to go to the other side of the restaurant to get a fork over there. Then, after about an hour we are leaving I glance over to the silverware and sure enough no one could be bothered to replenish the forks. Their food is good but service still matters. Definitely worth checking out especially if you're passing through Crescent City from Redwoods looking for a spot to eat. They have a very wide menu to include pizzas, pastas, and sandwiches. As far as the bakery side is concerned I have no clue by the time we arrived there it was just a loaf of bread and a few snickerdoodle cookies left. I hate to be partial and leave any sort of negative review but the service here at least when we went was sooooo slow! I was not the only one who noticed or complained. For one pizza and a pesto sandwich it took over 30 minutes to get it. And they weren't even busy there was just 3 of us in the restaurant with two of use waiting for a long time for our food. Now the food was good but just know if you come here hungry you may be waiting a while. read more

Ordered a bagel toasted with butter. Got two cold butter pats wrapped on the side. They handed me the plate, and when I saw the butter situation I asked if they could melt the butter onto the bagel for me. They said they couldn't take the plate back once I had it. I asked if they could make me another one with the butter melted onto the bagel. They said no they couldn't do that. They said more but I couldn't understand. Just to be sure I said, "So you can't make me a bagel with melted butter on it?" She said correct. I took my bagel to a seat and waited for the butter to warm enough to spread. The bagel was descent and the seating was terrific. The lemon cookie was crazy good. I have never seen a cleaner mens room... Part two: My second trip was pretty effing good. Everything at Seafront is delicious. I'm particularly partial to the lemon cookies and hot honey pepperoni pizza (add jalapeños). The breakfast and sandwiches are all worth trying too. The environment is light and bright, clean and relaxed, and they are open 7am-9pm (check days of operation). Today was my first time ordering their amazing pastries online for pickup and it was super easy and quick. I love Seaquake and Seafront! I've been here twice for breakfast once for lunch and our office had them cater for a breakfast. I love their breakfast! It seems like this is their best meal that they cook! The ocean breeze burrito is big enough to have for breakfast and lunch! The smashed sausage breakfast sandwich is wonderful, but the bun does crumble a bit so be prepared to use a fork and knife! Their decorations are very unique to Crescent City history and it's wonderful! They are very nice and greet you when you come in! The biscuit edged the burrito just by a smidge due to the sparse amount of brisket but both were very tasty. All the baked goods looked super scrumptious. We got a large mocha to share and that was good too. This location is large and clean with plenty of seating. Nice bathrooms and plenty of parking.
