It's right on the water at Pier 38, so there's a nice harbor atmosphere and plenty of seating. There's also parking! The menu has a good variety of seafood and Hawaiian style dishes, and they also have a fish market if you want to take some of the fresh stuff home. The fish of the day options are a fun way to try something local. The restaurant has a casual, counter service kind of feel, so don't come expecting a fancy sit down experience. It's more of a grab your food and find a table situation, which I actually think works well for the location. You get quality entrees quickly! We loved the furikake crusted tuna fish, the garlic shrimp and the mochiko chicken.

I came with my brother and his family. Parking is free. I was deciding between the fried ahi belly and crab cake burger. I asked the cashier what she would choose from between the two and she suggested the crab cake burger. It's served on a brioche bun with spicy basiley, jardiniere spread, tomato and arugula and I asked to sub the french fries for salad. It was a good size crab cake. The briouche bun was soft. I also ordered a pepperoni pizza to share with my niece. It was okay, my niece gave her a two thumbs up approval. I wish they had a menu next the register for the dessert that was availble. I was suprised to see so many choices near the pick up area. I decided with the red velvet cake. It was moist, nice amount of frosting, and I would order it again. My brother ordered fresh poke from the fish market and it was so good! Seasoned well and so fresh. Overall, a great place that we will continue to enjoy.

Very polite, excellent customer service, and good salesmen lol. Still in the same location, in the heart of Chinatown, in maunakea marketplace, food court side. I ordered the pampano, wife ordered the red snapper, and we was talking about the blue crabs and the guys heard, and did a good job selling it to us. The thing is, they only sold the crabs in a big bulk, like pan size. 2 fish plates, and a pan of crab came out to $100 ish?! I think. Is that a good deal? Idk. lol. Wish they sold it in like 1, 2, or 3 crabs at a time in smaller portions lol. Anyways, this experience was good. They actually went down and picked our fishes for us, but I think the original experience is you go down, pick/buy your own fish, and then bring it up and have them cook it? But even better that they go down to the fish market, grab the fish for you that way no need stress about picking your fish lol Anyway, man they provided a lot of sides, the wife and I, got a side each of scoop of Mac salad, Kim chee cucumber, and Kim chee daikon? To me, they were pretty big portions for sides lol so they served these sides to us first. Yes, and the boys served it to our table. And then served us our food. I think I wanted my fish a little bit more crispier, but was still good. Finally got my pampano fix, and wife really liked her red snapper. I didn't try the crab. Wife said crab was okay. One thing I have to point out is flies. Eating in the food court, for me, personally, no can enjoy eating with flies around. I got to eat and enjoy enough to get full. We were hungry. And we just brought the rest of our food home that we never finish and the pan of crab. Shared it with my father in law. All in all, great experience. 10/10 recommend. Would we come here again? Yes. I have to frickn try the garlic fried noodles, and the wife said she'd definitely go back for her snapper fix again. Go check em out guys!

Our server was incredibly sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, making it easy to choose what to order. Everything we had was absolutely delicious, and every dish was cooked to perfection. We genuinely had zero complaints from start to finish! The food, service, and overall atmosphere made for such a great dining experience. What I love most is that it feels like a more elevated restaurant without being overly priced. Everything was completely worth it, and we'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend giving Herringbone Waikiki a try!

And a really pretty room. This visit I was accompanied by my oyster loving friend Uli so 2 dozen oyster got us going. They were plump and creamy if not super big and of course fresh and briny! YUM! We also ordered the Brussels sprouts (delish), the ahi tacos (subtle and sublime) and we each had a baha taco (meaty and cones with a little peppery kick). The bar tender was sweet and attentive. Of course I shall return.
