Oh, now this is actually a really unique new addition to our fish & chips landscape! The fish at least is battered with a wonderful cornmeal coating that makes it come out absolutely un-greasy, super crunchy, and very nicely tasty! The coating even held up perfectly to the steelhead I ordered, which, as you know if you love steelhead like I do, is a very fatty/oily delicate fish. I've tried making beer batter with steelhead before and it both breaks apart too easily and also, the oil and fat of the fish make the coating get soggy very fast. Not here! The steelhead was super fresh and tasty. But wait, there's more, much, much more...! When I say that I mean the portions. Holy fabulous fish fry fantasy, Batman! These are BIG chunks of fish, each about the size of half a fillet! See the picture! I ended up giving 1 away to some people near me (who LOVED it) because there was no way I could eat all this! Even with that, I was so full, I could only eat like 3 french fries. And, the fries were very good, handmade, thick cut wedges, not quite jojo's, but thick enough to be super fluffy inside. But, that's not all...! She said she makes everything from scratch, including the tartar sauce. Oh, I love tartar sauce for my fish and chips, and this one was SO gooooooooood! Now, I can't imagine she made the ketchup, but I was very happy to find that, instead of a few measly commercial packets, I got two, count 'em, TWO nice big containers for dipping, much better than most carts. Felt like some catfish. So ordered me 2 piece combo with fries. Catfish was perfectly moist, but lacked seasoning prior to breading and the panko not a fan of as it makes it crispy. Maybe I'm so used to good fried fish in Chicago. Fries were hard and over fried and crunchy. Service was nice. Maybe it was an off day for fries. And panko is just a preference for me but did lack seasoning. Was ok and then fries were bad. read more

I'm a huge fan of calamari, and when I tell you this place cooked the perfect calamari, I'm not lying. It was just perfect, it had enough fish and the right amount of breading. First time here and my daughters were craving clam strips. Sealand is in a great food pod with indoor/outdoor seating and a bar. The gentleman at the truck was friendly and helpful and gave us many options for side sauces and condiments. We ordered the small clam strips and small halibut. It was on the expensive side but really wanted to give them a try. We were home and eating in 10 minutes. Both dishes were good sized and no oil. The outside of the halibut were crunchy and flavorful. The clams were overall very tender and the outside batter had great taste. The fries were done well and the seasoning was really good. The coleslaw and tartar sauce were both great. We'll definitely return! read more

Very good fish and chips! I get the halibut. The breading is very light and crunchy like I prefer. They let me get the slider bread instead of fries so I made little sandwiches, yum! Sometimes they don't open right at noon so good to keep in mind. This is my favorite cart at this pod. read more

The Steelhead fish & chips were soooooo gooood!!! We have eaten a lot of fish & chips in these here parts, and this was some of the best I've had! I love their homemade tartar sauce!! I love that they included the malt vinegar & fresh lemon slices as well! The coleslaw was amazing!!! Not too sweet and not too sour (I am very judgy about coleslaw). This food cart pod just opened and it's a minute away I'm so happy because I found my new favorite seafood cart the owner and her son were so nice he even came out and cleaned our table before we even ordered from them and I'm glad that I did I got the 10 piece prawns and fries to share with the girls as an extra side but the plate was definitely the star of the show with huge prawn lightly breaded and fried to juicy perfection a nice snap with every bite I will definitely be making the return one min trip to try more of what they have to offer I hope you find your way here you'll leave full and satisfied thank you for your time and happy dining read more

The catfish here is perfection, every time! From the delish seasoning, to the quality of fish, cooked to perfection, all the way to the texture! I've only been to this food court 3 times in the last couple weeks, each time I've returned specifically for this truck & their catfish! I will eventually try all of their other seafood options & maybe one day I'll make it to some of the other trucks in the court that also look great too. The Foodlandia atmosphere is great! the area is clean and the carts all look really good. I went there the other day with every intention to stuff myself full of teriyaki noodles when I walked by Sealand Fish and Chips and I knew that fate had something else in store for me. Sealand Fish and Chips had an "easy to read" that drew my attention directly to their fish tacos. They looked amazing, but I am always a little hesitant getting seafood so far away from the coast. I continued to peruse the great selection of seafood and came across their clam chowder menu item. I want to pause and tell you that I LOVE clam chowder. Continuing on, they also had some home made desserts which caught my attention. So there I was, left with some choices to make. Do I follow my intuition and pass up on seafood this far inland, or do I risk it? I am pleased to tell you that not only did I risk it, but I also purchased some of their homemade desserts as well. Their fish tacos are "on point" beautifully seasoned and just enough spice let you know it's there. the chocolate dessert was perfectly portioned and the flavor and texture profile was amazing! The Baklava was rich, but not over-bearing, with a wonderful crunch.
