Glad to have found a spot that was open late and had much better pricing considering this fancy downtown Seaport location. It's a great spot for hanging out by the bar and watching the game. As for the service, our waiter was friendly and offered suggestions since we were a bit torn about what to order. I was here with my family and we were all over the place with the menu. One kiddo wanted a sandwich, the other wanted just appetizers. Hubby and I chose entrees. Appetizers: - meatballs came with garlic butter bread but the butter wasn't really melted. Meatballs were good with a pepper-y aftertaste. - lobster bisque was way too salty. Had a few loose pieces of lobster so that was nice to see. It was like a sherry cream base. All soups are one size. - Mac and cheese bites were served with ranch dipping sauce. This was good but needed a little more salt or cheese. It was not memorable. The beef short rib grilled cheese was really delicious. Totally recommend. Comes with fries and they were served in a little basket with ketchup on the side. Entrees: - rosemary steak tips as requested were medium rare. This was recommended by our waiter so we ordered it. The mashed potatoes it was served with was a nice heaping portion and totally butter heavy. Very much a comfort food item on a cold Winter night. - pan roasted seabass, as I know it's not a seafood restaurant, I just didn't want meat. Ordered the seabass, great portion and the string beans were perfectly cooked "al dente". Good crisp. And the wild rice (pilaf) with mushrooms it came with was a nice side accompaniment. This place is great because it's open late. Stopped in for a late dinner post flight and we were able to get a table right away. The food was decent-kind of your typical bar food but definitely still good. The pumpkin espresso martini was a 10/10. I came here after Harpoons Oktoberfest with some friends. I was all boozed out so I did not have anything to drink. This was a nice bar and a nice space. But the bouncer was not allowing anyone to bring in their cups from the Oktoberfest. I asked if I could put it in my bag or coat pocket and I wouldn't take it out while I was in there. And he said Nope. It was very packed and did take bartender a bit of time to take my friend's drink orders. I would maybe try this bar out on a less packed night. This place was great when they first opened. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced for the seaport. The nachos were excellent with a very generous sized plate. Every chip had cheese and was deliciou. Now, the nachos are covered in some nasty cheese sauce, just on top of a few chips. The size of the nachos isn't even enough for an 80 pound teenage girl. Very small. The chicken tenders dry, bland and overcooked. Service was very slow, and none of the staff members seemed to pay attention to anything, nor cared. This place is slowly dying a slow death as they should, with the crap they are sending out. Never again. read more

Fun sports bar! Came in on a busy weekend after Thanksgiving and Seaport Social had a really fun atmosphere. It was a very long day and I wanted to grab something close to the hotel so I popped into Seaport Social. Cool looking bar. There was a pretty good crowd. Most were just drinking. My waitress recommended the Maple Whiskey Smash, some ordered it. It was ok. More lemon than anything else. Couldn't taste the bourbon or the maple. Not a bad drink, but not what I expected. I ordered a cup of clam chowder. It too was just ok. A lot of smoke and almost no clam. For dinner I got the steak tips with mash and asparagus. All 3 were under seasoned and after I finished, I reviewed the menu and it would appear that they forgot to include the bearnaise sauce. The waitress was quite busy with other tables and was mostly ignored. My chowder was deliver about 30 seconds before my dinner. I'd have ordered a cocktail but by the time she got around to checking in on me, I was ready to leave. There is a convention in town which might explain my experience. First time customer experience: I placed a to go order today for their turkey ranch burger. As soon as my call was answered, I felt like the young girl on the other line wasn't very confident taking orders over the phone for a few reasons. The tone of her voice, stuttering, and she was unsure about side substitutions. All I asked for was the turkey burger with vegetables instead of fries. I knew ahead of time by looking at the menu that I could order either broccoli, asparagus or seasonal mixed veggies. She informed me that the broccoli and asparagus were the only options. When I went to go pick up the order, I was greeted by the same girl I believe who took my order over the phone and also a manager. The manager reeked of cigarettes! Lastly, my turkey burger was just ok. The patty itself was a little bland and I was expecting the roasted peppers to be in fact roasted but I don't think they were. The menu said it was supposed to have cheddar on it but instead mine had American. The steamed broccoli was also very bland and it would have been nice if it was at least sautéed with some garlic to add a little more flavor. Overall, I think it was worth trying but if you're looking for something more pleasing that I'd recommend another restaurant. read more

We live just above seaport social and it is becoming our new go to. What we didn't know is they have a drink stamper and you can have them stamp or beer or martini with anything, even a picture of your dog!!
