The sweet patio ... I wanna come back and have champagne here!

Today I had a nice lunch while I celebrated a few things. It was great to come to the 17th floor in Raffles and enjoy the goodies the Chef offers. Everything was amazing. The lobster roll with homemade brioche is one of my favorites.

We ate here 3 mornings during our stay this winter. It's a cozy spot, I love the decor. Our service was great, both our waiters were super attentive and friendly. I'd say it's a fairly limited menu, I was craving French toast but unfortunately they don't offer it. The bacon is good but it was a little inconsistent. Of course, it's pricy, but you might see some celebrities staying at the hotel so that's fun. The omelette was really good

Tucked inside the iconic Raffles Hotel, The Long Bar may be famous for its Singapore Slings, but don't sleep on their afternoon tea. The Highlights: -The scones were the group favorite -We didn't feel rushed at all. So many afternoon teas feel like you're in and out, but here they let us linger and chat A Few Notes: The portions were definitely on the dainty side. The tea and food selection was beautifully presented, but if you're coming hungry or expecting a full lunch replacement, you may want to grab a pre-tea snack Overall, a lovely spot for a leisurely afternoon with great service and snacks

The food at Long Bar wasn't my favorite, but there were some highlights. The crispy shrimp came out piping hot and was definitely my favorite dish of the night. The Lalo negroni was also quite good. However I wouldn't say any of the other dishes were particularly memorable. The salmon was cooked well and tender, but didn't have a lot of flavor and I wish the gnocchi was served with more sauce. The pavlova was quite sticky on the inside which I didn't love. All that being said, the space and views from the bar are super nice so I would say that it's a nice place to grab a drink.

Located inside the Raffles Hotel in Back Bay on the 17th floor is the Long Bar and Terrace with a bar, indoor lounge seating and outdoor seating with certain views of the skyline of Boston. Very modern and high ceilings with great light fixtures, reminds me of Gossip Girl homes. It is on the pricier side as expected with smaller portions as well ordered the calamari and grilled octopus. Our main entrees were good especially the burger with salad. Lobster roll was meaty too.

The views! What a great place to get drinks and hang out with friends! We wanted to get drinks before dinner and decided to venture out to the Long Bar to hopefully get a nice view of the city. Our party of four was quickly seated close to the nice bar. We didn't get outdoor seating which would of been nice but we could still see some of the city views from their huge windows. The place is very elegant and the service was very attentive. We ordered some of their signature cocktails which were very reasonably priced. They brought out a complementary tray of snacks to enjoy while we waited for our drinks. The olives and nuts were very yummy and we kept getting free refills which was nice. The presentation of our cocktails really impressed me! And the lining embroidered placemats was really over the top but appropriate for this place. The cocktails were very delicious and strong. I noticed people enjoying pasties that were towered on a stand and looked very good. We will have to come back to try those yummy looking pastries.

Go for drinks, not food. Go for views, not sunset. Went here twice within the past week: once for after dinner drinks and once for a 3pm light bite. Service is 10/10, which I'd expect for a hotel like this. I was not let down. Their all-day menu however was sparse, with limited vegetarian options, they didn't venture beyond a cheese board and salad. A note on the cheese board: jasper hill is not known for their cheddar and I'm surprised at this selection... really? Not their award-bwinning Willoughby or harbison? The burger was a standard good burger and the cod fritters were good enough to eat but already slipping my memory. Ambience is really well executed, very Instagram friendly, even when not facing their impressive windows. This is not the place for sunset views, however, as this faces the east. The bartender for drinks was great-- we ordered off-menu mocktails and were very impressed.

Went here for a sisters' lunch date after reading great reviews and being drawn to the rooftop setting. While the food and drinks were decent, the service completely tainted the experience. From the moment we walked in, the energy from the staff was cold and unwelcoming. The hostess barely acknowledged us and treated us as if we were an inconvenience rather than guests. Once we were finally seated, it took over 15 minutes before anyone came over to offer water or even say hello. Meanwhile, other tables that arrived after us were greeted and served almost immediately. Thankfully, our server, once she finally arrived, was warm and attentive-honestly the only bright spot in an otherwise disappointing visit. I split my time between Boston and Miami, and I've experienced hospitality across the spectrum; from exceptional to forgettable. I don't typically write "bad" reviews, but I've noticed a concerning pattern lately with service in Boston, especially as a woman of color. The food may be okay, but no meal is worth being made to feel unwelcome.

We were very impressed with the view here but not so much of the service. I know my friend who came with me 1 star because of our experience, but I am giving an additional star for the hosts and the nice view. We did not have prior reservation but the hosts were nice enough to get us in pretty quickly on a busy night. After we were seated at the bar for over 30 minutes, no one gave us the menu while other people around us all got menus even when they got there after. I am not sure if this is some sorts of discrimination because I don't see this behavior to anyone else. After waiting for 30 minutes, we finally waved our hands to get attention while at the bar, we were sitting right there in front of the bartenders. We asked specially for the menu and water, then we did get menu and water. After another 30 minutes, no body took our order and we decided to leave. At this point, we were certain that Long Bar did not want our business.

Delicious food and amazing views! We were able to get a seat at the bar on a Friday night and we are already looking forward to a return trip. All the food we had was great but if you're looking for a nice strong drink I would recommend sticking to the wine menu. While the cocktails were good flavor wise they felt more like I was drinking a mocktail - great if you're someone who doesn't like the taste of alcohol in their drinks at all though! Service was friendly and fast and the hostess was great as well.

Second time back, this time for dessert and drinks with a reservation on a Saturday night. Very popular spot, so highly recommend the res! Delicious cookies and sorbet, plus another fantastic cocktail and mocktail. Service was friendly and fast! Still a little pricey as I noted last time

Beautiful unbeatable views and restaurant ambience. The mocktails were absolutely perfect and their seasonal chocolate cake was genuinely one of the best desserts I've ever had (go soon before it leaves the menu!) Our server, Dylan, was amazing and had so many great suggestions. Definitely will return.

Espresso martini - I appreciated the server asking if I want it creamy or dark.

Finally made it to Boston to check out one of the newer lounges located inside Raffle Hotel. We were greeted by their staff upon entering the main door. Proceeded to the elevator to the 17th floor to access the bar and restaurant. Once exiting the elevator, turn left to go to Long Bar & Terrace or turn right to go to AMAR. We went left to Long Bar since we had just finished dinner elsewhere close by. At the host stand, we were told it was an hour wait for a table but we were welcome to sit at the bar as it's first come first serve. We placed our name down on the waitlist and went to the bar to get drinks. About 15 minutes later, the hostess grabbed us and said the table was ready (we were pleasantly surprised). The room was packed by the way and so was the bar. We ordered more drinks and oysters. The server brought out some snacks for the table. Service was prompt at the bar and at the dining area. The terrace was closed on that day which was slightly disappointing but the weather was chilly so it wasn't too disappointing. Our seats had a great view of Boston. Our total was $107 (pre-tip) for 3 cocktails, a hot tea and half a dozen oysters. It was definitely on the pricier side but given the ambiance and how beautiful the hotel is, we didn't mind paying a premium. Will definitely come back when it is warmer so we can sitting outside on the terrace.

This year we visited right after a RedSox game and it had poured the entire day. We were cold and wet so they escorted us to the back bar. I hope we didn't offend anyone by not being in fancy clothes. Anyways, we were sat at the bar, about five minutes later, we were acknowledged and menus placed in front of us. Took another 10 minutes to get water and a drink order to get us started. Short time after that, we got to out in our food order and we are glad we did because right about that time our bartender's friend walked in and all of a sudden all the attention went to him. Our clam chowder arrived and it was complete perfection, silky smooth was with a delicate fried clam as an extra treat. It was sooo good. I wish I would have stopped there, instead we also ordered cheeseburgers. The fries were underwhelming and limp, the cheeseburger was a disaster. I'm sorry, I wish I could say anything but that but it just didn't work. The burger patty itself was made out of a meat blend, it felt more like nerves, ligaments and other weird meat elements and to make matters worse, wasn't cooked good, was not allowed to rest instead leaking its fluids all over the bottom bun and severely underseasoned if seasoned at all. I took one bite and couldn't even swallow it. The "fried lobster" on top was chewy and honestly just bad. What a terrible thing to do to a lobster. The cocktail was good, after all it's their $30 martini with a caviar garnish. The bartender made sure his buddy was taken care of, the rest of us at the bar had slow service. It is what it is and I guess next year when we visit we won't be coming back. Oh, the tiramisu was tasty too, instagramable for sure!

In advance, I stopped into the hotel to confirm that a gluten-free guest could be accommodated and was assured this would be handled. In reality, the accommodation was inadequate and, at times, unacceptable. While the rest of us were served scones, my stepdaughter was given cut fruit in their place, and told that was all they had to accommodate. The dessert course consisted of what appeared to be basic gluten-free cookies, misrepresented as something more gourmet - egg nog cookies??? This lack of preparation was both disappointing, upsetting and avoidable. The broader experience was equally concerning. We were subjected to an unsolicited and uncomfortable "lesson" on tea service, which detracted from what should have been a relaxed and celebratory occasion. While trying to enjoy the time with the girls, being a lifelong tea drinker and someone who has been to many times at your establishment and its various incarnations, this is something I have never experienced. The food quality was poor (scones were clearly reheated and stuck to the cloth napkin they were wrapped in), and there were notable service lapses, including being served water in a visibly shattered glass. Additionally, when hot water was added to refresh the tea, my stepdaughter's pot curdled and had to be replaced. It was especially disappointing, as I mentioned that I had stopped in and spoken with the concierge, and was assured, as they had called the kitchen while I stood there that they readily accommodated gluten-free. There are numerous places in the city that could have done this, and if you had just told me that you could not do so, I would have booked us elsewhere. I chose not to raise the multiple issues in the moment so as not to disrupt what was meant to be a special day for the girls and me. However, the total cost exceeded $500, and the experience did not come close to justifying that price point! Do not recommend.
