overpriced for the quality tbh. chicken was extremely overcooked/burnt and so dry that it was crumbly. star of the show was the mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese.

We stopped by Sear on Saturday July 12th, 2025 for evening cocktails at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis and have NO complaints. We were greeted by Morgan & Sonia, too lovely and knowledgeable women. Morgan prepared us a Sir David Smoked Old Fashion and a Smoked Peach Mimosa. All the drinks were excellent and we highly recommend stoping by the bar at Sear to see Morgan & Sonia.

So I will say it took a while to get our food and server didn't really understand what we were asking for.. food was good enough for us to come back the next day (we stayed for 2 nights) and we really liked the ample seating and different types. They had tables, booths, and higher up booths. It was pretty spacious and I could see hosting a brunch with friends or a corporate meal meeting here! They had a great buffet as well, but with how much is on the menu- buffet didn't seem necessary.

YUM. This restaurant was located in our hotel and I am very, very, very glad we decided to try it. The inside is like a rustic modern type vibe with dim lights which I loved. We ordered the salmon, shrimp and grits and Brussel sprouts. Everything was exceptional. The food came out fast too. Everyone working there was extremely friendly which adds to the atmosphere of the restaurant. Would highly recommend.

Sear restaurant becomes the breakfast spot inside the Marriott Marquis besides being the steakhouse during the evenings. The layout is well designed and the variety of food and selection is terrific. Service was good, and the coffee served is actually Starbucks. Overall, a very nice place to have breakfast when staying at this hotel in Atlanta.

Go for the breakfast buffet. Well worth it and the variety was great. Ate here 4 days and never bored with the options. The omelet bar was excellent and would recommend. French toast and waffles were great. The biscuits were fluffy and buttery but the sausage gravy missed the mark.

I really enjoyed my Egg White Omelette with sautéed mushrooms, Shallots, Swiss cheese, Baby Spinach and sourdough toast. Service was very laid back, which was fine, but could have been a tad better. Prices were what I expected for a hotel spot but what I had was about $2-3 over value. I wanted to try the Breakfast Buffet but not for $33. But as far as hotel food options go in Atlanta, this is definitely considered a good spot.

While staying at the Atlanta Marriott marquis hotel this weekend I had the pleasure of eating at the hotel restaurant SEAR a few times. The meal I want to highlight most was the breakfast buffet. From the nice welcome when arriving at the restaurant to the phenomenal service by the chef and delicious food, I was blown away by my experience at Sear. As someone with a gluten allergy my choices are sometimes limited. Not at sear. They had multiple breakfast meats, different types of eggs, chia seed pudding, berries, and other fruit and a very tasty GF blueberry muffin. In addition, they had fresh honey comb! I have never seen this in all of my travels and thoroughly enjoyed it on my muffin. My last stop was at the omelet station where Chef Reggie expertly crafted my egg white veggie omelet topped with goat cheese. He single-handedly improved my mood with his smile and willingness to make a superb omelet. My omelet was SO Tasty, thanks Reggie! I took my meal to go and the staff provided a box and carrier for my OJ and coffee so that I could take my breakfast back to my room. What a great way to start the day!

Sonia Arthur was so fantastic..she hooked me up with the best local whiskeys and eye..outstanding!!

Almost everything was really good. One complaint is a few of the plates were stained, not dirty but old stains (please do something about that). Upon arrival. were greeted by Anthony. He was nice and very personable, he greeted us with a smile and he also seated us. Our waiter was Sam: he was also personable, very nice and he checked on us several times to ensure we were ok. Reggie was our chef: he repeated our order to ensure his accuracy, smiled, talked and made us laugh several times and cooked our food with love!! We spoke to a manager named Toure: he was knowledgeable, he cared about our experience and he even asked what they could do to improve our experience. He assisted his staff with the tables, plates, etc. he is a great example of being a team player! Everything was delicious and we will definitely return.

Look at that cute little thing

First let's put this place on the "restaurant in a hotel" scale. So they get an extra star for that. Decent atmosphere, good service. The thing that struck me is they first items I see are seafood. To me this is another restaurant trying to be unnecessarily fancy. One too many items in the menu with kale. They don't even serve a filet! A steak house ? And the bone in ribeye is 16oz? When they are that small they get thin, and when that happens they get dry.. ugh Steak certainly had some sear on it. But just too thin... and I didn't really luck out on the cut. Temp was good toward the bone, but was close to well toward the edges. They didn't do bad with what they had to work with but I would say terrible value for the money. Crab cake...... spot on. Not what I wanted walking in.... But I'm glad I had it because as I walk out I'm still hungry and down 175 bucks. 16oz bone in ribeye .... C Crab cake ......A

We sat down and were provided water and I asked for a purse holder and the waitress was able to locate one for me. We received our menus and if you're in to a French style menu, this is the place for you. I had the avocado tartine (toast), and others in my party had the eggs Benedict, the crepe; and pancakes. Two of us also ordered a mimosa. Because it was my aunts birthdays, they were given a small treat. It's quiet and very cute ambiance and lighting. They have tea time from 1-4pm which I will definitely be back for. ***I gave this place a 4 only because the menu was sort of limited from what I had known to be a buffet style brunch and I think, to me, I needed a little more seasoning.***

As you'd expect at the Four Seasons it's a very upscale ambiance and the staff is always very welcoming. The bar itself is large enough to hold a dozen or so seats and there is extensive table and banquette seating in the floor area. They have a selection of house cocktails and I've been happy with each one I've tried (my eye always moves to the bourbon/whiskey options on the menu). There is a limited food menu that is definitely way better than standard "bar food" though neither is it fine dining; it's perfect for a light meal. They do have music certain evenings so it can get quite busy then or on weekend nights. Prices are a little above what you can find nearby in Midtown but again this is a five star hotel; I think it's worthwhile for the occasional visit.

We did have dinner reservations at 6:30 pm and only a few tables were occupied, but the later the night had gone, more diners came, but still was not bustling full. They have valet parking (apparently was not available that night) and deck parking which they do validate 2 hours of it. We were at the restaurant for more than 2 hours, so we paid for the extra time. Our server (Lauren I think was her name) was decent that night, but we felt as if our drinks and food took a long time. As it was Christmas Eve, she gave us a few additional plates that we did not order for free that we thoroughly enjoyed. For starters, we all shared the meatballs, marinated olives, little gem salad and focaccia. I thoroughly enjoyed the salad and focaccia with the salad as one of our "Christmas gifts" that night. The focaccia was served with honey butter and was served warm. My husband and I shared the Margherita Royale. The dough itself had a nice chew and loved the charred bits on the crust. We also shared the charred broccoli, but was nothing to write home about - personally, would not recommend. I ordered an affogato as my dessert. I wasn't expecting the espresso and ice cream to be served separately. I just took sips of the espresso while taking spoonfuls of ice cream - this was easily shared. I do want to give a shout out to their general manager, Macy. She dropped by our table to check how we were enjoying our meal. Two people in our party has been there before to celebrate a big accomplishment and Macy remembered them! She even remembered giving them a gift that night. I think it's worth trying their food! It's in a good location on the beltline, but surrounded by businesses.
