    Aguachiles Verde

The BEST seafood truck outside of Baja California hands down! We ordered Aguachiles Verde, fish tacos and clam chowder bread bowl. Everything was amazing. Don't forget to add some salsa habanera verde! We'll be back for more. Highly recommend

Supreme burrito. Coctel mixto. And seasand fries. The burrito was good had a nice crisp to it.

Very delicious food. Tasty . Supreme burrito had a nice crisp to it. And the fries were also good.

Aguachiles--had the diablo shrimp tacos last night, so saved the aguachiles for today. So good!

SeaSand is one of my favorite food trucks in Oxnard. The Hawaiian Shrimp Burger is a must-try. Delicious crave-able for its flavors and textures--fried shrimp, spicy chipotle sauce, sweetness from the pineapple, fluffy bun. The Best. Also like their Torre Mariscadas, layers of various ceviches and aguachiles. Fish and chips are good--fish is crispy and light, though the fries are usually kind of limp and soggy, but it's more about the fish! The aguachiles are refreshing and just spicy enough to enjoy.

Fish tacos with amazing homemade tortillas.

Such a good fix for seafood craving! I got the shrimp quesadilla and fish tacos, both of which were delicious. The quesadilla is packed with cheese and shrimp and covered with yummy chipotle sauce, then served over fries! The fish tacos were generously sized and the tortillas were amaaaaaazing. I assume they're homemade, super fresh and yellow and no rips whatsoever even though packed with fish, cabbage and sauces. Top it off with friendly and quick service and I will definitely be back!

Unfortunately, I m writing this bc I found out today, this place will permanently close July 6th, 2026. This is the only place left open in this worn out area. The people working there said, the old buildings will be demolished and they will build something else. Too bad they will not return. So if you have a chance, go visit before it happens. This place is delicious and worth the 1.5 hrs from where we live.

Looking for somewhere to eat fish and chips passing through Oxnard and this did not disappoint!…read moreLove that they have family bucket of fish and chips and had the Dodger game on. The fish was FRESH. Perfectly crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside. Also got burgers for the kids and hush puppies. The kids burgers were cooked nicely, not dry. Everything was made to order so expect a small wait but very worth it. Service was friendly and very casual spot with really good food. Stop in and give it a try!

For over 25 years, this spot has remained a "go to" in the community, and we love seeing these old school treasures continue to thrive. From the moment you walk in, you get those nostalgic, old-school vibes. Loved all of the decor and pictures of fisherman throughout the place. The service here was awesome. Super friendly and welcoming, and the gentleman at the register gave great recommendations. He knew the menu well and was able to help me out with some suggestions. Honestly, the menu is so extensive it was hard to choose, but here's what I went with: Fish & Chips (2 piece plate): 5/5. The batter was light yet perfectly crispy, not overly heavy, and the fish itself was fresh, flaky, and high quality. Paired with a solid tartar sauce, this is a must order dish. The French fries were classic and I loved their coleslaw. Grilled Thresher Shark Plate: 4.5/5. This one was a standout for me given how hard it is to find shark on menus nowadays. I actually grew up eating shark, so this felt super nostalgic. The staff highly recommended it, and I'm so glad I listened. The grilled shark was mild, tender, and full of flavor thanks to their delicious balsamic glaze marinade. If you've ever been curious about trying shark, this is the place to do it. I'll be back again for this soon. Overall, the food was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying and the best part? It doesn't break the bank. Prices were reasonable and portions were generous. Definitely check them out if you haven't already, a great old school restaurant in Oxnard.

We started off with the warm, delicious bread & let me tell you -- Simplicity has never tasted better! Next, we dove in with the Happy Hour Oyster selections & stuck with those majority of the time.. Delicious! Shucked wonderfully! To allow us to explore a bit more of the menu, we had crab cakes alongside our oysters... Wonderful! They're also served on top of a small sized salad that allows for a light freshness when taking a break from the oysters. The service... Exceptional! Of course one waiter is assigned to you, but throughout your time, multiple servers to stop by to make sure you're not waiting for long if anything is needed! The environment is beautiful! Very fitting for downtown Ventura, but also not taking away from knowing that your very close to the ocean! Overall -- Amazing!

1st time to this location - tried all happy hour Food was hit and miss. HH cheddar biscuit came out…read moreraw and had to be sent back. Tuna poke bowl was good, clam chowder was very good, but the crispy shrimp was just ok - needs a dipping sauce, felt a little flat. Also, Ended up with an upset stomach after the meal could be unrelated. Beer selection was solid & bar staff was nice and helpful. Biggest issue was the loud cricket working as a beverage/bar runner she stood at the end of the bar talking loudly to other staff and laughing obnoxiously the whole time. Place was busy and she was somehow louder than everyone else combined - Really unprofessional and disruptive. Won't be back (to this location.)
