I bought a car on 9/24/22. Less than 24 hours later (the next morning), it's leaking oil in my driveway. I called the dealership. They said to have it towed to a mechanic and not to drive it. Over the next week I contacted Steve (my salesman), several times to find out what happened. He tried to blame me for hitting a pot hole. The mechanic at East coast Eurowerks, where it was towed, said it was a worn out rear main seal that someone had previously tried to patch. The repair cost me $ 2,100.00. I tried contacting Steve to ask them if they would help since I bought the car in this condition unknowingly and he has refused to help at all. Instead he continues to blame us for creating the problem. I tried also speaking with the manager, Blake who was no help. Please beware of this place. I bought the car as is. So I have no legal recourse. I'm just out 2100.00. Not to mention the radio has since went out and the passenger window won't roll up anymore. read more

Blake was awesome to work with, since it was a graduation present for my son for graduating college he was kinda enough to work with us remotely. Since I live in AZ they shipped the papers via fedex, gave us a return shipping label and eventually had the car shipped to my sons location in Delaware. All in all a great experience. I have dealt with a lot of used car dealers from Charlotte, NC, Charleston, SC, Augusta, GA , Myrtle Beach, SC but this used car dealership is the absolute most unethical company I have every dealt with. Stay away, no matter what they tell you. They do NOT mean what they say and their commitment is not worth the cheap paper it is written on.. I had a similar experience on 02/12/2020 as W.B. had on 10/04/2018. I just wish I had read his review before flying all the way from Florida to come test drive their vehicle and then once I landed at the airport , Blake their Sales Manager did exactly to me as they did to W.B. 16 months ago. These people do NOT change. They practice the same old bad habits even into year 2020 just like they did to W.B. on 10/04/2018. I strongly suggest you inspect any car from this dealership with a fine tuned comb twice before you make any decision. I made an out of state / online purchase of a 24k mile Mercedes SLK from this dealership. I was told over the phone by the salesman Steve that the car was flawless and needed nothing. I made a deposit over the phone and arrived at the dealership several days later to pick up the car shortly before it turned dark and thus was unable to inspect the car in full sunlight. The salesman asked if we could do the paperwork that evening since he was off the next day. Being a trusting soul I agreed. When I returned to the dealership the next morning to pick up the car I noticed that the lower front grill had been damaged which wasn't evident the night before when the car was in their dimly lit garage. Two of their employees embarrassedly noticed this as the car was pulled out of the garage and tried to manually bend it back into shape however the grill connection to its interior frame had been broken. The cost to replace the frame was over $500. I reached out to the salesman twice and he said that they weren't taking any responsibility for the damage because I got such a good deal. People and businesses are only as good as their word. I suggest you look elsewhere to buy your car. read more

Be careful buying from them. I bought a 2014 F-150 STX from these guys, have only having it for one day and putting less than 100 miles put on the truck, the oil light came on. Good thing was that they offered to do the oil change for free, bad thing, I had to drive all the way back to them in Wilmington from Jacksonville. After only having the truck for for a month and a half, I took the truck into the mechanic because my truck was making scraping sounds, the truck had barely any brake pads when they sold it to me, a month and a half later there was none left, which damaged the calipers and rotors. The dealership offered to only replace the break pads after me calling 5 times over a 2 days span. Which would of been pointless considering I would have to tow it down to Wilmington just for it to still undriveable due to rotors and calipers. Had to pay over a grand for a truck less than 2 months old off the lot and there's more stuff wrong with it, fuel system needs servicing, spark plugs, etc. stuff you would think the dealership would fix prior to selling. The salesmen insinuated that me and my wife (who was not even purchasing a vehicle) left a good review on google. So here is your review. I'm not denying these guys handle business professionally and sell good vehicles but this has been the worst used car dealership experience I've ever had. Be careful. read more

Please use your hard earned money to purchase a vehicle from a REPUTABLE dealer this is not the aforementioned. Purchased a 2015 jeep grand cherokee deisel said vehicle blew up within 400 miles and less than a month of owning the car. Not to mention the fact it was obvious they did nothing to prep the vehicle before placing it for sale over the first few days multiple issues where found( burnt out head lights, no oil change, empty Def tank, worn windsheild wipers) seashell auto is selling junk cars and do not stand behind their product they hide behind their contract. Ownership has been blantently obtrusive when reaching out for help and even was rude to the owner of the finance company I used during a teleconference. BUYERS BEWARE THEY DO NOT HAVE A 72 POINT INSPECTION they are throwing out damaged vehicles for as cheap as possible and care about one thing... MONEY. I bought a 2017 toyota prius from this dealer in February 2019. When I got home, I noticed the rear driverside headrest was missing. I contacted the company and they said they would get one. Please to whoever may be reading this. Please save your money and go somewhere else. I have been through so much with this car lot. I purchased back on 03 Jan 2021. I purchased a 2014 QX 60 Infiniti at Seasell Auto in Wilmington NC on Jan 3, 2022. I took the car for a test drive that day. Prior to buying the car I researched the car to see if there was and major issues customers were saying about this model of Infiniti. The person who sold the car to me Steve drew up the paperwork to make the sell. After all the paperwork was done, I drove off the lot with the car and not even five miles down the road the car cut off and would not start again. Thankfully I was pulled into a gas station at the time. Mr. Steve sent his technician to try and start the car because he thought it was the battery and it would not start then car had to be towed. Unfortunately, that day I could not drive my car home. Mr. Steve contacted me on Jan 7 to let me know my car was ready. I was working that day, so my aunt picked the car up for me at Seasell Auto she drove the car to my house which is about 60 miles from my house. I drove the car back from my house which is about 60 miles back. My aunt picks up her car and when I drop my aunt off my daughter, and I was getting ready to leave Seasell Auto with the Infiniti. The car would not accelerate, and all the light started to get dim in the car the steering wheel locked up and thank God I was able to pull the car in the parking lot next door to Seasell Auto. I contacted Mr. Steve via cellphone at 6:45 pm on 07 Jan and he didn't answer the phone, but he did send me a text and told me he was out to dinner with his family and apologized to this happening a second time after the car was supposed to be fixed. I had to call AAA to have the car towed next door because the car would not start for the second time. I also call my bank to see if I could cancel the check because at this point I have yet to have the car 24 hours. Unfortunately, Seasell Auto cashed the check on 05 Jan and the bank stated there is nothing they could do. I sent Mr. Steve a text on 10 Jan 2022 to check on the status of my car and stated he was in a dealer's class, and he would get back to me. Mr. Steve states that he thought it was a loose terminal and would I asked Mr. Steve said he would have the shop check the alternator on the car because the car completely cuts off and I told him that it's a safety issue. I'm just grateful that I was not in traffic during those times because I could have been involved in an accident both times because when the car shuts down the steering wheel locks up and the car is unable to move. Mr. Steve told me he understood and would have them check it when they drop the car off. Mr. Steve contacted me on the 12 Jan to let me know that my car was ready. I couldn't pick the car up until the 14 Jan due to my work schedule. Moving forward to July 30 my car started the same process all over, I had drove the car about 30 miles from my house and then then the battery and the break light turned on. Feeling frustrated and confused I google the issues and sure enough google states that those issues connect to the alternator. Contacted Mr. Steve on 05th August and told him what was going on including some other problems he told me to have someone look at the car. I had the car towed from my aunt house to Don Williamson Nissan in Jacksonville NC where they told me it was the alternator was bad. I contacted Mr. Steve and told him again this is a safety issue due to the car cutting off and locking up. Mr. Steve told me to call All Motors in Wilmington NC where the alternator was replaced the last time. I had my car towed to All Motor where they replace the alternator once again. The alternator was replaced 29 August because it was under warranty and ready to pick up by 30 August. Unfortunately, that was short lived because by Sep 10th I had called them back because the car was doing the same thing. At this point I am frustrated and tired that I am paying for a car that I have not had the opportunity to enjoy because I am afraid it will cut off and I will be involved in accident and I don't want to take the risk of hurting, myself, my passengers, or someone else. I had the car towed back to All Motors 04 October and by the 05 Oct the owner of All Motors calls me and states that there is nothing he could do I have documentation of all the repairs. He recommended that I take the car to the Infiniti dealer because he didn't know what else he could do. Now I am left with trying to have my car towed to another dealer which means more money that I don't have on top paying for a car that I am paying for monthly that has not worked properly since I signed the paperwork. Now I am left with a car that I can't drive but still paying monthly for it. If anything goes wrong with the car after check is cashed, they don't care not their problem. So let me tell about Seasell auto...The owner (Bill) is the cousin of the nearby Audi dealership and got his hands on a 2017 Audi R8 V10 plus. I live about 5 + hours away and went down to inspect the car. All seemed well. I then negotiated the price (with an email confirmation) and had a cashier's check drawn. The day before I was gong to make the trip (again) I get a text from Blake (sales manager) telling me he' changed his mind and won't sell the car to me.
