    Gotta have it!

This was right on time! Being newer to the Redmill area, I was pleased to find a "hot dog" spot near the house. Not often do I have hotdogs but when I do wish to have one, I want a good one! I came the day after the Super Bowl and after a long morning, I was in need of some fuel. I could have taken the healthier route but I said "heck no, now is the time for me to try this spot out", then relay the message to the wife as she loves a good dog as well. The guy ( I wish I remembered his name) behind the bar was awesome. He related very well with my personality and needs suggesting the brats. I got a brats and a snapdog with chili, onions and shredded cheese. It felt I took three bites to devour the brats and the same for the dog. It was was crispy, cooked at the time I ordered, fresh and just a solid product at a very reasonalble price. My only suggestion or wish was for the hotdog bun to have been warmed up or put on the flatop to get a bit of a toast on it otherwise, I had no complaints. The place was clean, smooth running, and comfortable for what you are asking for with a great staff that lets you be who you were. I loved it and for sure will be back with the wife or those random moments when I am craving that "snapdog"! Good stuff and glad I found this place. oh... forgot this. When I was paying, he told me about their breakfast sandwichs they make with bread being delivered from New York that looked amazing! I need to try that out as well. Left a pic of that menu. Enjoy!

Second time, but over a year or more in between. It's very far for me. Located in the Redmill Commons with adequate surface parking that was clean. They do not have road visibility, so could be a bit of a search the first time. The signage on the building easily identifies them and it's much bigger than you would expect. A large bar and table and chairs. Everything was extremely clean. Service was almost immediate. Menus are left on the table. They do more than dogs, but that is their specialty on a simple straight forward type of offering. Order was two snap dogs just short of all the way holding onions and added fries. Water to drink, but they dog have fountain. Pepsi products. The meal was delivered within around 10 minutes and looked great and was indeed. The Boars Head hot dogs were quality as was the chili. The right amount of mustard was applied. Ketchup was delivered with their yum crinkle fries. The checkout upfront by probably the owner was speedy and even a 10% new customer discount checking into Yelp. Solid 4 and would recommend as well as love to return.

This isn't my first time coming, but I haven't been for over 3 yrs though, I decided to get some today so I got the special of the day cheeseburger with crinkle fries and a drink for 7.99 and also got a snapdog and some chicken nuggets. I ordered it to go so very friendly, very helpful as well. The food was packed in bag very tight and good. The food was still hot warm at home. I tried the snap dog it was good. The cheeseburger was good as usual and the chicken nuggets was crispy. The ambiance is really nice and clean a lot of customers were coming in to dine in. I like that they have a bench for you to sit and wait as well. It's always nice to sit on the bench. 15 minutes for it to be ready is good and nice. I would come back again the food is great quality.

One of my favorite things about coming to Sandbridge is getting to get a few meals at seaside Dogs and Grill. Simple food done exceptionally well.

We decided to try Seaside Dogs and Grill this past weekend for the first time, and it did not disappoint. We had an array of things from the burger, chicken salad sandwich and corn dog nuggets for the kids. The food was great and fresh. The service was amazing! There were a lot of high school aged kids working and they were on point. It is really good to see a local restaurant support young working youth. My kids really enjoyed the "special sauce". I also noticed they had a little nook at the front where they sold t-shirts and supported some other small businesses in the area. It was a real great family feel atmosphere. We will absolutely go back!

While i was in the area we decided to go check out some hotdogs for national hotdog day!! So we headed over to Seaside Hotdogs... Its located in Redmill on the same strip as Panera. There's plenty of parking out front. I called in my order for snap dogs, cheese and bacon fries, a knich, a patty melt, and a cheeseburger. Everything was about $27. Their prices are very reasonable. That's why i just love hot dog restaurants. You can get a decent lunch for a good price. When i got there i was greeted by the friendly ladies working there... They were smiling and happy and very nice!! When i got to the car we tasted everything and it was all good. The hotdog had a good snap, the fries were tasty, and the patty melt and burger were good to. I really am glad i asked for secret sauce.. It was no secret that the sauce was delicious.. I really enjoyed my visit and the food. Seaside hotdogs is my new spot and I'm certainly coming back for more. They have alot to choose from on the menu. I can't wait to try the cheese curds!!! They also sell tshirts... Check them out!!

The bar is set high when it comes to hot dogs for me considering I'm from the north east. This place was amazing. The hotdogs had the perfect snap to them I can see why they call them snap dogs. The casing was perfect as well. Even the fries were great. They were cooked in clean oil, you can tell and the taste was perfect. I highly recommend giving this place a try if your looking for something quick with good taste. A perfect spot to take your kids to, everything a kid loves, hot dogs, grilled cheese, fries, you can't go wrong. Ps they also have knishes, Polish kielbasa, and knockwurst .

As my oldest said, this is definitely a new favorite. We loved every bit of our visit to seaside. It was our first time but definitely not our last. Staff was extremely welcoming and friendly and all of them were masked up! Tables were spaced out and everyone was respectful and courteous of each other. We ordered off the kids menu for our three kids. Got an order of fried pickles. And hot dogs for my husband and I. Everything was hot and fresh and delicious. I definitely recommend. I can't wait to go back!

It's a small business, food is good. Wait staff are very pleasant. It reminds me of an old diner, small burgers, snap dogs, crinkle fries.

It's one of the few old school Hot Dog Shops that still feature the iconic Norfolk Dog. The spot closes at 3pm each day. There was plenty of time to stop. The location is on Azalea Garden Road about 2 blocks north of Princess Anne Road. Don't expect a picturesque spot. This building is located in the midst of warehouses, car repair shops & such. Lew's was obviously packed with people wanting those few last days of the wonderful Norfolk Dogs. Parking was around the front & side of the shop & on the street. Even the "no parking" area was filled. We stepped directly into an earlier time. And I loved it. Seating was mainly around the counter. I would have loved to have eaten there. But we had just had donuts in Ghent. So we ordered at the cramped takeout counter, The cook, who I suspect was the owner's wife, cooked on a small grill near the front window. A young man took the orders, writing each takeout order on a paper bag for the cook. The proprietor busily did everything. He was personable & funny. He had his rules, just like his long gone competitors, We sat at the counter and talked to a customer who had driven down from Arlington. He obviously knew the place well as the owner bantered with him. When our order was ready we left, a little sad that we couldn't stay and eat. It had been so much fun. The Norfolk Dogs were wonderful. They're snap dogs, customarily served only with mustard, chili & onions. Lew's did allow other condiments added, even serving French fries. You could get thrown out of some of his former competitors for asking for catsup or potato chips. There must be a return before they close. I want to sit and eat at the counter. I want to come out with that familiar smell of onions in my hair. By the way, they're still open to selling the shop. It comes with the secret recipe for their chili sauce. Norfolk Dog lovers need this eatery to remain open. Don't let them be lost to time.

I ordered the Sunrise Burger, subbing hot honey for the mayo and oh-mah-gawsh that was an excellent decision. (The burgers are a little on the smaller side, but I found it to be the perfect size.) I told my husband that the onion rings were some of the best I've ever had. Kyle was our server, and he was incredible--attentive despite being a little overwhelmed. So when one of the Homies told me about this place I was all in because - burgers - what's not to love. Barrel 17 did not disappoint; when i got there i realized quickly i was the last to know because it was busy. We had about a 10 minute wait to be seated but that was cut short by option to sit at the bar. The bartender was working like she had six arms. It was non stop; attentive, taking orders, making drinks, checking back with others, she was truly impressive. The places was jumping; it was busy, casual and didn't slow down from the time we arrived until we left. Parking is challenging, there's a small lot beside the restaurant and a small lot behind it so if you can car pool you'll benefit yourselves. Now on to the star of the show - the food! The only knock I had was portion size. In a big guy with an even bigger appetite and when i left there i could've eaten my whole meal over again lol. But that's also because it was delicious. I got the mac n cheese starter, the Beast Burger, tater tots , and the biggest slice of chocolate cake I've ever had. Literally the biggest slice of cake ever- twice the size of my burger. Everything was delicious, from start to finish and if i were a person that had a normal appetite i would've left full like my friends did. Will definitely be back!

I walked in on 12/3/25 with excitement and anticipation. Boujiee is a tiny place - they could easily be mistaken for a simple bar. Their interior, though, looks modern, organized and clean. Plus, it's well-lit, so it definitely doesn't have that dark look and feel of a bar. Upon entry, a server quickly greeted me and told me I could sit anywhere. She was kind and helpful, and immediately knew it was my first visit. When I confirmed that notion, she proceeded to give me a rundown of the entire menu. She didn't have to do that, but I felt like ordering everything afterwards because everything sounded amazing, haha. I settled on a soda (which they sell in bottles), a couple of bottled beers, the Dougie Fair Dog and Corned Beef Fries. Boujiee's glizzys are meals - each item on their menu is full of ingredients and toppings. Normally, I can devour 2 hot dogs in a single sitting, but at Boujiee you better be hungry to finish off 2 or more. The Dougie Fair includes spicy Polish sausage, grilled peppers, onions, melted cheddar and mustard, all on a hoagie bun. Dougie had some kick, so it wasn't super spicy, but I definitely enjoyed this item. I also had the Corned Beef Fries (crinkle fries, corned beef hash, cheddar, fried egg) which was as hearty as it was delicious. I was barely able to finish them both, but they were so good I almost had to. Based on this visit alone, Boujiee Dogs is a five-star food spot. Along with the impeccable service, this may become a part of my food spot rotation. I look forward to many future visits. Thank you, Boujiee Dogs! JV
