I'll be contacting them with a similar advisory. In case moving isn't already stressful enough, Shane and Chris will add to your frustrations by showing up more than two hours late, and not bothering to let you know until 30 mins after they were supposed to start the job. I ask for a call or text when they're on their way (because I couldn't just wait around for them for two hours), and then they call once they're at the home. So I fly up to the house to meet them in less than 15 minutes to find they left to take their lunch break without any communication. When they did finally show up, they spent the entire 50 mins of work whining and complaining about the weight of my furniture and the tight packing of my POD (that was completed by real professionals). Repeatedly asked me if there was anything glass or breakable in boxes so they could just apathetically toss stuff around and carelessly arrange it. Uhhhh, how about you treat someone else's property like it's all fragile/breakable/important to the paying customer?!? What a profound concept. They didn't smartly arrange the space we had to store our property. If they weren't whining about the weight, they were whining that they had to make it all fit in a one car garage. Thankfully it won't be stored long, otherwise I'd be having to find new professionals to fix their mess. Finally, on the last piece of furniture, they decide to bust out a small dolly. It's not your customer's fault if you choose to do things unergonomically, unsafely, and irresponsibly. They then demanded that they still be paid in full despite their inability to follow through on our original agreement, putting me under a very stressful time crunch due to their excessive tardiness. They wanted to claim they'd cut me a deal for my future moving needs, but that is such a laughable prospect, I couldn't even bring myself to acknowledge such a ridiculous suggestion. Why would I ever ask for help from people who don't respect my time, my property, or my finances, and spent the whole 50 mins complaining about the job they were overpaid to do?? JOKES! Maybe they should take the more than double pay they didn't earn and invest in some professional equipment. Unfortunately, professionalism, courtesy, and the most basic level of service standards can't be purchased.

These movers saw 3 young ladies struggling with this table then proceeded to yell at us that we were "doing it wrong" in wonderful Irish accents. These 2 men stopped what they were doing to help us carry the table down our 12-step staircase with humorously begrudging flare while saying that we should leave a review in lieu of payment. He kept me in the loop as to how it would all go and I was so grateful for that as I live so far away. When he got to my place he unloaded 176 boxes into the room I had prepared and not one was damaged. They damaged parts of my home which I had to pay for. They said they would come and fix the damages and refund the items. Then they started making excuses and then they started insulting me. They brought 4 guys and it took them over 12 hours to pack up a 2 bedroom apartment and move it 20 minutes away to a place with no stairs. They didn't even finish the job. The main guy kept taking breaks by claiming he had to go and get more paper but then they used my things for packing and damaged so many things. I keep trying to get the refund the promised but they blocked my number. The lazy main guy also kept getting high on the job. I have video footage of them which I'll be posting on social media to warn others not to hire them. I filed a police report and joined the police to meet them but they said I would have to take them to court and I just didn't have time and knew they wouldn't pay even if I won. The police told me that several of them have criminal records.

Jacob came to our house with a clipboard, saw and noted everything to be moved, He gave us a price of $11,000 to move us to Nebraska. Most other quotes were in the $16,000 range. So far, so good. They showed up at the promised time with a truck too small to get everything. I said to my parter "the truck is too small." About an hour into the process, Jacob advised to to start figuring out what to prioritize and what to leave behind as the truck was too small. Several hours later Jacob said it was "partially" his fault. Yes, he said partially, avoiding full blame since it was part of his scheme. For an additional FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS he would get another truck for us. (And now the cost is up to $16,000. We were in no position other than to agree. This is the game most movers play to extort more money from you. Cut to: We had air tags in some of the boxes on both trucks. With that information in addition to talking to the movers when they arrived, we learned they stopped in Treasure Island and Citrus Heights to take everything out of both trucks and put everything of ours into a huge semi with three other families. Many items and boxes DID NOT get delivered and some glass items were broken. Please see the attached photo to get an idea of how they packed our expensive electric bikes. That alone should scare you away, We contacted Jacob but he ignored is. We called him.
