They showed up at the promised time with a truck too small to get everything. I said to my parter "the truck is too small." About an hour into the process, Jacob advised to to start figuring out what to prioritize and what to leave behind as the truck was too small. Several hours later Jacob said it was "partially" his fault. Yes, he said partially, avoiding full blame since it was part of his scheme. For an additional FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS he would get another truck for us. (And now the cost is up to $16,000. We were in no position other than to agree. This is the game most movers play to extort more money from you. Cut to: We had air tags in some of the boxes on both trucks. With that information in addition to talking to the movers when they arrived, we learned they stopped in Treasure Island and Citrus Heights to take everything out of both trucks and put everything of ours into a huge semi with three other families. Many items and boxes DID NOT get delivered and some glass items were broken. Please see the attached photo to get an idea of how they packed our expensive electric bikes. That alone should scare you away, We contacted Jacob but he ignored is. We called him. So far, several days later, he continues to refuse to take ANY accountability as we have not heard back from him. I do not in any way recommend this company. We are considering legal action.

I had the opportunity to receive a baby grand piano and was challenged with 3 things: cost, earliest move date/time, and if the piano would still be available. I found Two Friends Movers with a quick search on Google via Thumbtack app at 11pm and a representative reached out the very next day at 8am with a rough quote. I called back and we ironed out the details within the hour. They were able to help me move the same day with less than 1 hour notice of the move! I was so impressed from end to end the support they provided. They helped move our vintage baby grand piano from a 3-story SF home (with over 40 steps) to Daly City (3 steps). They came prepared with packing materials, tools detach and reattach the legs and sheet stand etc - and rugs to cover my floors during drop off. Fair pricing because of the crew size required with a base rate plus additional charges for stairs and complexity of the stair space. But after contacting the management, they easily dealt with reimbursing us for the repair amount requested by our home's buyer. Eddie was my private personal customer representative from being to end. I was even able to book Santiago come out to my unit and do an in-person video estimate. He was extremely professional, thanks Santiago! Eddie and Santiago were absolutely amazing! My 3 man crew was exceptional and professional! These guys are super good at their job! They are the hardest and most careful working crew I've ever seen in my life! I am a very considerate, professional and fair business woman. Based on the original estimate of 5 to 6 hours for the job I had pre-envelopes made for all three of the workers with $50 per hour as a tip so that was an additional $150. Now,I must be honest and I did text Eddie when I noticed another hidden charge on my bill for materials $90.00, I was told tape and wrapping was included! Plus, I had all my own boxes. But, Eddie never replied back to my surprise based on the quick response he would give me before booking them for the job! That made me feel like: "We are done with the job and got paid, so we don't need to answer any of your questions any more"! I also, wanted to tell Eddie that there were 2 long picture frames(holding 21-4x7 photos) cracked/damaged and they cost me $100.00. My original estimate was around 5 to 6 hours it took them 8 hours with a grand total of $1,837.76 I'm here right now that would add the $90 hidden fee of materials and subtract $100 of a down payment deposit. Plus, I gave all three workers $50 tips individually! So, that was an additional $150.00, with a grand total $1,987.97 so, basically $2K all day! I also provided a case of ice water bottles for the workers. Me and my son assisted/helped packing up things too! My son was my translator because one could not speak English and the other one spoke or understood very little English and the third one could speak English very well! So, thank God my son was there and he speaks Spanish it's his 2nd language. So, I really wasn't in a hurry to post this review! But hopefully, they will reach out to me once they read this and make things right! Plus, I was extreamly sick and busy after they moved me! I never really got around to leaving a review. Even with that small negative information that I have to include in this review I would call them in a heartbeat to move me again:-))))! Despite that, the final cost came out to nearly $3,000, and over $4,000 total with deposit and tip, which was completely unexpected and unreasonable. To add context, just weeks before the move I had broken my back in three places, and the company was aware of this. We were forced to move quickly because I could no longer safely go up and down stairs, and we were already losing our rental deposit due to the sudden move. They also knew we were working within limited financial means. On moving day, the truck they brought was too small, which created delays right away. The crew initially worked quickly and cleared the downstairs efficiently, but when we positively commented on how fast they were moving, the pace upstairs noticeably slowed down. From that point on, we were being charged overtime as the job dragged out. We were kind and accommodating throughout, we even provided food for the crew, but the experience felt disorganized and unnecessarily prolonged. The most frustrating part: not everything was moved. Some of our belongings were left behind, and we ultimately lost them because we couldn't retrieve them from the landlord in time. When we reached out to the owner after seeing the final charges, we were told they did nothing wrong. Every concern we raised was brushed off, and there was no accountability or willingness to address what happened. Overall, what was supposed to be a $1,900 move turned into a $4,000+ stressful ordeal with poor planning, slow execution, missing items, and no follow-up support. Given the circumstances we were in, the lack of care and transparency was especially upsetting. We would not recommend this company.

When a week before our move we needed to change a date by two weeks because of construction delays, that was not a problem. When at the last minute we asked if we can add a piano to the list of moved items, that was fine as well. But most importantly was the care the guys took with our items! They wrapped every piece in the soft blanket and added plastic wrapping outside to keep in place. They stacked items in the way that nothing would get damaged. On delivery, they were on time and moved everything to designated rooms and assembled everything we needed! No scratches or damages in the house when moved out or moved in!
