We visited Seasons 52 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, last week. The design and decor of the restaurant is interesting and modernist. We arrived with reservations and were seated immediately. Our table had a small blackboard wishing me a happy birthday also with a fresh flower. The menu was not extensive, but the descriptions in the menu made everything seem appealing. I had the trout which was plump and delicious. My husband had the scallops, which he loved. We were also served a very good dessert in honor of my birthday. The attentive service and great food definitely made it a very special birthday dinner. read more

We were recently in ABQ for a few days and went to Seasons 52 twice. Both times the lobster bisque was EXCELLENT, the service was great (friendly and good). The food was consistent and healthy. I'm really liking this place. It is pricey for lunch but we had appetizers and a meal so it felt like a great value (BBQ shrimp, lobster bisque, wine, tuna salad, etc) $123 for two people. They had a nice mocktail they made for my daughter also. side note- I asked if they had fries and they do not have a fryer in the whole kitchen! I LOVE that, because I will make bad choices all day long but if you remove the temptation then I have to try something new, like BBQ shrimp flatbread, which happens to be delicious! Keep up the great work!! Parking was easy also- not always a guarantee in ABQ but the location was easy to access. read more

Not bad for Albq., but still not hitting the mark. Walking in for the first time, was really impressed with the architecture and layout of the dining room. The staff were really pleasant and extremely helpful. As far as the meal is concerned, it was ok, but disappointing in some areas. Sitting near the bar was good as it was a bit more quiet and easier to hear the other person. The iced had no flavor and had to ask for lemon. The bowl of lobster bisque was way too thick again no flavor and no lobster meat for garnish. The Maui Tuna Crunch was not ok as the tuna was far from fresh and looked more like jerky. The soft flatbread was really good but the portion was so small, and compound butter that we were given was enough for 3 orders. When you are charging those kind of prices, one expects a better effort. I don't mind paying for quality but when I'm paying for mediocrity, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It's a shame that the food doesn't come near to the decor architecture and service of this restaurant. read more

Seasons 52, is such a wonderful place to visit for a date, with a friend, or even taking yourself out for a well-deserved meal. Every item of food here is seasonal, hence the name, and under 600 calories. During lunch, you can choose some combinations that are not available during dinner. I got salmon on a bed of greens, which was delicious along with a cocktail. Service was wonderful and food came out quickly for how full the restaurant was. Stopped in for a quick happy hour bite. $12.50 for a glass of wine and choice of 5 flatbreads. It was a 13 minute wait to order or even be greeted. Then another 15 for my wine and flatbread. We ordered Thanksgiving dinner (turkey, mashed potatoes, squash, gravy, salad, stuffing, pumpkin mini delights) , and everything was delicious, ready on time for pick up, packaged well, and accompanied by specific, correct heating instructions. I was very happy to have ordered this because I broke my ankle the week before and would not have been able to cook. Seasons 52 saved Thanksgiving for our family! More recently, we went to seasons 52 for happy hour, and it was great! A nice pour of wine and flatbread for 12.50, and many other deals on beer and cocktails. We chose the roasted mushroom flatbread and a tasty order of Brussels sprouts to accompany our drinks. The service was great, and all drinks and food were quickly delivered. The bar area is quiet and comfortably furnished with tables, bar seating, and booths. Happy hour is 3-6, and I am fortunate to work nearby. Seasons 52 and Ruth's Chris are my favorites for happy hour. read more

Sometimes it's way too busy and we end up going elsewhere, but usually we can make it in without too much wait, although often we are able to get a table immediately too. Well, well, well what a find! I typed in wine bar and up this pops! I was just looking for a little app and a glass (or two) of wine and I lucked out! Let's start with upon entering, there are two hostesses taking your name and phone number (COVID-19 tracing per NM rules). I was seated in the bar area, as the bar is still closed. There is also a massive dining area that can see into the glass walled kitchen (love that, you know they aren't dropping food and putting it back). There is also a great outdoors section, although it was a bit too windy for me to sit outside. I was greeted BY NAME (personal touch goes a long way), by my new BFF Sam. She was so bubbly and personable, hence the new best friend! I ordered the Sonoma wine - a must try- YUM! All menu items are less than 595 calories, is that possible to have flavor without the calories, yep, sure is! Kudos to the chef or whoever came up with this menu! The menu changes quarterly, so there will always be something new to try! I perused my menu and opted for the Korean BBQ skewers. 4 skewers of perfectly cooked meat arrived with the most amazing glaze that was slightly spicy, yep, downed them all and didn't feel bad about it! Now I couldn't stop there right? The food whore in me would not let me stop, she can be a bitch sometimes! So do I go for the spinach and strawberry salad or the truffled risotto? Choices suck! I asked my new BFF Sam to pick one for me and surprise me, servers will NEVER steer you wrong! So a few moments later, out pops my amazing salad, yes with strawberries, almonds, Gorgonzola chunks, and the most epic white balsamic vinaigrette.... get all in my mouth! I just love the freshness of this salad! Okay, so I lied, not going to just have the salad, give me that side of risotto... yeah so I'll just pretend I missed two of these courses and I'm only eating 470 total! I am so glad I did not miss this one.... truffled risotto, could it be any better? NOPE! the right amount of bite and it wasn't mushy, as it often tends to be, yeah buddy.... I did take my time and savored! Now the BFF I mentioned before, Sam, decided why not stop there, let's show her the dessert shot glass selection.... okay, not cool, but sure I'd love to try the s'mores shot.... grrrrr! There went my appetizer and a glass of wine idea! This dessert has chocolate cake, chocolate mousse, something else chocolate, a graham cracker, and a toasted marshmallow.... okay not so mad because it does come in a shot glass so you really don't feel bad for having a sweet treat, also if you eat it fast enough, the glass will be removed immediately and no one will ever know! Sam was the best! If you get the chance, ask for her, you will not be a stranger, as her friendly nature exudes, but she's my new BFF, so don't try it. Lol! She helped me to navigate the city and gave me some helpful hints, since I'm new to the area! The potties are super huge and super clean! That is so important! The manager was running around and wiping tables and pitching in where necessary, made me like the flow of what was happening! This place runs like a well oiled machine and I'm super impressed! You do get what you pay for! I have to say, this was one of the best meals I've had in a long time and I just picked out random dishes! Service is spectacular and the food did not disappoint AT ALL! Ambiance of the restaurant was great and were considering it for a place for rehearsal dinner. The service seemed nice; our waitress was very attentive to our drinks and ordering. I only would say is there was minimal chit chat or liveliness from her and I was expecting just a bit more from a hospitality/restaurant service. The food was good though. We got three flatbreads all with their unique taste. Honestly if I had to choose one though, the roasted tomato was my favorite! It was simple but so delicious! The pesto was a little dry and the shrimp on had too much cilantro for my taste. I really wanted to try the Philly cheesesteak that they had on the menu however they said it was sold out, which I thought it was strange cuz we got there at opening. May try it again in the future we'll see before we make it as a decision for rehearsal dinner. read more

Thursday night at about 6pm and we didn't even wait to be seated. The food was tasty and the service was good. (KUDOS Kim) We had the tuna tartare to start (fabulous) and the food came out pretty quickly once that was done and cleared. "Cleaning Carpets a higher priority that Customers" Long day, so we dropped by for a late dinner at 830pm (they close at 930). So we order, get our stuff around 900 or so, and halfway through our dinner, people start vacuuming the carpets in the main room (and around our table). And they are doing other clean up as well. One of the more bizarre situations I have seen at a place that is not in the Ihop or Denny class. Conclusion - Seasons 52 at this place is your new Denny's. Act accordingly, maybe wear a beater shirt and Daisy Duke shorts etc etc. And no, I did not "confront" the people - based on their demeanor I figured it would not end well, and just decided never to return. I'll sum it up in one word, "bland" We had the scallops, lobster, filet mignon, Philly cheesesteak flatbread, and golden beet salad The golden beet salad just had no flavor. I'm a huge beet fan. It's exceptionally rare that I don't like a beet dish. I left half of this one. I just couldn't. The Philly cheesesteak flatbread needed something with heat such as pepperoncinis, hot cherry peppers, or something. Again, this was horribly bland. I really should have sent it back. We asked where the scallops were from. The waiter checked and said Japan. Japan? The best damn scallops in the US are from New Bedford MA. Why would you bring in scallops from Japan? Okay, the scallops were smoked. The lobster was smoked. The filet was smoked. Let's talk smoke. Smoke to me is like truffle oil. Truffle oil contain no truffles. This smoke gave the scallops a burnt flavor. It wasn't a good smoke. We thought it destroyed the filet mignon. We took it home for our dog. Overall, a horrible dining experience. The food was awesome and delicious. The presentation and the ambiance were very nice. I've been here for a week or so and really wanted to try a New Mexican dish. This restaurant did not have one but the meal was spactular. I recommend this restaurant to any and everyone within driving walking or flying distance. New Mexico is a hidden treasure in the United States. I've enjoyed my brief time here where the elevation is well above Denver the Mile High State. I've been here 4 times so it's about time I posted a review. First off, the atmosphere is fabulous. The dining room is posh, and the seating is super comfy without anything coming across as pretentious. The wait staff is knowledgeable and friendly and only once was service on the slow side. It was the bartender, so understandable. The food is delightful and so fresh/delicious that it took me until the third trip to figure out that all entrees are under 600 calories. Great bonus! The pork chop is a solid pick, and comes with red cabbage and yellow raisins. Yum. Previously I had a salmon/cous cous option but since this restaurant changes their menu seasonally that's no longer an option. No worries, they have a new salmon dish that looks delicious as well. Pricing is on the higher side, but in line with the staff training, atmosphere and quality of food. It's a lovely option for parents, date night, or a work lunch and I will definitely be back. read more

We were there for a business meeting. Service was spot on. Food was really great for approximately 20 people. This is the second time we have gone there for a large group. I always get the salmon plank. My husband get the beef fillet. They said they could guarantee a medium rare because of a large group but they did. Everything was great - flatbreads , soup and mains we very good. I have gone several times with my walking group and they always deliver. Special champagne for birthdays. I heard this place was owned by the same people that own Olive Garden and you can expect the same type of experience here with a little bit nicer ambience. I had the dry rub pork chop.... It come with yellow raisins which was an odd mix and not enjoyable. The meat was cooked just fine but $25 for a piece of meat and basically no eatable sides, no veggies nothing really at all the plate is pretty empty. It seems like they are trying to sell the aesthetic of the plate more than the experience. There are better places to spend $25 for a piece of meat. read more
