Ok so I have a rental property in Bellevue and managing it from a distance is no joke. We have used this service a few times for serving our Viking range and our Subzero refrigerator. They have been very prompt in getting someone out to our house (next day) and arrived in the time window they provided. They very quickly diagnosed the problem, identified the required parts and called me soon after leaving with the total cost and timing when the repair can be made as the parts are shipped. They charge a reasonable service call fee that they will credit to the total repair cost once it is determined and they do not charge a separate service fee for the return visit to complete the repair. Took maybe five minutes, because I went downstairs to get a cooler after he asked me to remove refrigerated items and when I came back he claimed he'd taken off back panel and diagnosed. Pretty quick if he did. No gauges to measure freon level or inspection of compressor. Gave an oral bid $1500 higher than others then asked me who I'd gotten a lower bid from. Not quite as high as Subzero Repair Professionals (another company I'd avoid, even worse). Would not recommend unless you want to hand over money to receive a high bid. read more

First, I want to say I wish I could give these guys a higher rating than 5 stars. They were super fast to respond to our request to evaluate our broken 34, yes...I said that correctly, 34-year-old Sub-zero refrigerator! What happened was that our freezer continued to work but the refrigerator side stopped working entirely. Seattle Sub-Zero & Viking to the rescue! They diagnosed the problem as a failed compressor. They also identified an issue with a previous repair made by a local Bellevue Sub-Zero Service that replaced a fan with an aftermarket non-Sub-Zero brand, which has been underperforming and causing a host of other problems in the years since. I should also note that after this earlier repair, the specialist told us that we needed to likely buy a new Sub-Zero refrigerator, as this one was "getting too old to fix". Conveniently, they sell Sub-Zero refrigerators and they could give us a deal. Hmmmmm... The previous service technicians came out again later to fix a clogged drain in the refrigerator base, in which he blew compressed air through the drain. This only solved the problem for a few weeks (see my previous reference to 'to old to fix'). So I asked Seattle Sub-Zero and Viking to look at the issue and they actually pulled out the refrigerator from the wall and found that the reason for the clogged drain was that it had FROZEN into a solid brick of ice on the back of the refrigerator. This was such a large block of ice it went through the sheet rock and into the wall space (a problem precipitated by the aftermarket fan replacement). This review is as much about how excellent our experience was with Seattle Sub-Zero & Viking as it was about who NOT to trust. We had gone to the well known showroom Sub-Zero thinking they would know best what to do...well, I think they know how to make money. For Seattle Sub-Zero & Viking these guys know their stuff for a new company. Yes, I did have to wait for the parts to arrive and yes we did have to survive with my old college fridge for a few weeks, but that is par for the course right now given the age of our Sub-Zero and that Covid has created a backlog on most manufactured parts overseas. So far, our refrigerator works better than any of us can remember! read more

Parts were ordered and 5 days later our sub zero was working again and cleaned as a courtesy at a reasonable price. He even took a look at our Wolf range and made some adjustments at no extra charge. I called back to let them know it still wasn't regulating the temp, and they made a new determination. When the necessary part arrived, they made good on the repair, and the oven now works perfectly. I called them on Sunday night after 10pm(you know things can happen unexpectedly) when I noticed that the temperature on the refrigerator ride started rising. Rick, the owner of the business, responded to my voicemail in 30 mins(!!!)(it was Sunday night!!!) and promised to call back on Monday morning and put me on the schedule. I was so happy!!! And yes, on the next day he called me and came to my house by noon! I also want to mention how extremely professional he was and how quickly he identified the problem. My oven stopped working. I called to schedule an appointment and figured I'd have to wait a day or two before a tech could come out. Much to my surprise they were able to put me on the books that very day. Ivan showed up on time, quickly diagnosed what was wrong, and gave me a quote to fix it. Even better is he had the parts on hand. It took him less than an hour to get the unit back up and running, and that includes him taking the time to vacuum out the decade's worth of ashes that had accumulated under the catch pan at the bottom.
