This is THE WORST tanning place I have EVER been to! The staff was USELESS, UNFRIENDLY & UNKNOWLEDGEABLE! I recently went in to get a monthly package for an upcoming trip and Shelby was super helpful. She was very knowledgable and went over everything with me as I had a lot of questions being new to the tanning thing. Sometimes you go to a tanning salon and get pressured by a teenager who is just there to up sell you Shelby is not that person. She did recommend a lotion to me and explained the benefits of it and the different beds. Besides that, the place was really clean and the beds are nice. read more

This location is in the Top 4 out of this chain of tanning salons. The manager here is amazing and she is what makes this review 5 stars. Honestly if your getting air brushed sprayed I would only schedule with her because she's very experienced and does a very good job. I've had two others attempt and miss a few spots here or there. But she'll always fix it for me which I greatly appreciate it. Plus I can understand everyone is learning and improving. Her technique is always on point. The beds are always clean, they actually have the most rooms available here. Two new level 5 kiwi kings which are the Rolls Royce of tanning beds. But if you have a good base then go with the level 4s for a deeper coloration. The bathrooms are always clean, they have great specials almost 1 every quarter of the year. Right now they have 49% off sale going until August 10th. Parking out front can be sparse depending on time so if you're only coming to the landing to tan I suggest parking on the back side parking lot for easier access and departure. Theirs also a male employee at this location who is super refreshing has a amazing attitude and is just great. So if you want quality, cleanliness, knowledge, and cost effective option. Then this is the place. My other fav locations are located in Factoria, Kirkland-totem lake, and Kent station-the bed in room 1 is the best I've ever tanned in. read more

Dirty beds, strong sales approach, long lines and bad attitude.

Horrible service, they constantly try to get you to buy more than what you want and they give you huge attitude if you don't give in. I've been there twice, buying two different sessions, and I've had the same bad experience each time. I prefer to take the time and drive to desert sun; though I really wanted to make this work as I work out next door and it would have been so convenient. Don't waste your money and time! read more

I keep meaning to leave a review for this place -- I moved here from Texas where I'm used to super rude tanning staff and have been pleasantly surprised by the friendliness here. They know what bed I like and even my name already even though I've only been a handful of times. They really do go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and welcome. Got a great deal on a package today because one of the awesome employees told me about the texting subscription. Very helpful AND saved me money. I went into the Renton facility to do a versa tan and the room was filthy. I love the service there they are always friendly but it's super important to keep places like gyms and tanning salons clean. I'm a loyal customer and I will go back but come on, it's not that hard to keep a salon clean instead of flirting with your boyfriend. read more

The tanning beds themselves are pretty nice, as well as the location, but the staff is inexperienced with explaining memberships, services, and product prices to customers. I asked to sign up on June 4th, purchased lotion and was charged $77-I was charged for my membership and for lotion. Two days ago I received a notice from my card that I was to be charged again for a membership on June 20th (again, I signed up June 4th). I called the store, and they let me know to call their customer service line so I did. I spoke with their customer service rep and was told I was charged a pro-rated rate on June 4th and that the full membership was to come out on the 15th. They didn't explain this to me at all at the store, and also lied to me on the pricing of the lotion. I would have never paid $77 to get to use their tanning services twice, and I'm super disappointed that they won't let me finish out the month of June. Their customer service is pretty terrible and I wouldn't recommend this location. read more

I have never been treated more disrespectfully by a business. The manager, Brittany, basically blew me off when I came in to fix an issue with a membership that I didn't even sign. I explained to her that I signed up for a 2 week package in November and (btw, only used it 3 times during the 2 weeks) and I've been charged a membership fee every month since then. She was not able to show me any proof I accidentally signed a membership form and furthermore got very defensive that it could not be their mistake. She told me her corporate office would follow up with me. They of course did not. I have never felt so disrespected by a business! read more

I got an airbrush spray tan here and it was without a doubt the worst tan I've ever gotten. Streaky, splotchy, really just truly terrible. After I was done being sprayed, the gal sprayed something called "white out" on my feet, they were literally black 8 hours later. Not happy! I am the queen of spray tanning and I know it's hard to get perfect, but this was comical. read more

I have been coming here since the grand opening last August and this is by far the best tanning salon that I have ever been to.. Unlike their other locations this one is huge, the beds are all brand new and each room has a mirror.. The staff is for the most part friendly and I have never experienced any of them being pushy so that's also a plus.. It can be really expensive so watch or ask for deals before you buy anything.. They have a great selection of lotions and plenty of comfortable seating in the large waiting area.. Sometimes you will have to wait especially if you want a level 5 bed.. This spot has gotten a lot busier and seem to be understaffed at times.. Parking is starting to get tough down at The Landing and I noticed one of the employees who was working out digging around in her car right up front as I was leaving.. They should really keep those spaces outside their door for customers only.. Open late, on Sundays and even some holidays :) read more

Consistently poor customer service from multiple locations but especially when I've gone to this one.

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service at The Landing location!! Do not go to this location!! The small girl that works the front desk with the overly tan skin (good luck with that in a few years, you'll regret the Tan Mom look and wrinkled skin) and the false eyelashes is RUDE, incompetent, unprofessional and should NOT be in customer service of any kind! I don't know how she's been allowed to get away with this behavior. I have been to this location many times (other locations are not convenient for me) and nearly every time I go there is some hassle. More often than not, the solution is empty in the VersaSpa spray tanning booth. The only way to find this out is the hard way: strip down, get your barrier lotion and lovely hair net on, step into the booth, press the button only to find that the sprayers are only spraying air and not tanning solution. Don't bother calling out to the twits at the front desk because they don't answer. So you have to get dressed, walk to the front desk and ask them to replace the solution. Of course the above mentioned girl always blames it on the lack of technology and how the machines don't let them know when the solution is low. Um, dimwit, could you bother to check it from time to time instead of playing on your phone? There has not been soap in the women's room for at least two years. Half the time it is out of TP and/or paper towels. My latest visit was horrible: There was a customer at the front desk who was complaining about a recurring charge to his credit card, he was quite frustrated but was keeping a level head. The girl was absolutely rude to him but said, "I'll make a note in your account to be really nice to you". So apparently they keep notes on individuals. Hmmm, shouldn't you be "really nice" to all customers all of the time? We're the ones giving you are money. So while watching this transaction for about 10 mins, the other girl finally comes to the front desk from 'cleaning' the beds, or whatever she was doing. I was clearly standing right at the front counter but instead of coming to me or asking who was next, she looked past me as if I didn't exist and went right to a young guy who came in after me and was standing behind me. She proceeded to wait on him, so I called her out on it and said, "Excuse me, I was here first". She wanted to argue that point with me so I kindly reminded her, "Pay attention to the women coming in, not just the guys, little girl"! When I was finally assigned to my room, I went through all the above mentioned steps of disrobing, etc. only to find that ONCE AGAIN the solution was out in the VersaSpa. After getting dressed and heading to let her know the solution was out, she assigns me to another room but not without taking a parting shot at me, "He was gay any way". What that has to do with her ignoring me and waiting on him first is beyond me. Really, really unprofessional. Once I was able to actually get a spray tan and was leaving (did I mention there were no towels in the room), I heard a woman practically yelling from another room trying to get the attention of someone at the front desk. No one was coming to assist her. The salon had a TV going with some show that was spewing profanities. The girls at the front desk couldn't hear the woman yelling for assistance. On my way out, I told the twit that there was someone in the back that needed help and she said, "Oh, I think it's the TV" and I said that it wasn't. She continued to lean on the front counter and play on her phone. I'm sure the woman had to get dressed and come to the front desk to get the help she needed. This is just ONE example of the type of customer service I've received. Next time I'll make the longer trip out to Covington. I've had good experiences there and the VersaSpa area is much nicer. read more
