I reached out to this company to inquire about insurance coverage and needing an appointment for cavities due to tooth pain I was feeling. After multiple texts back and forth from some seemingly outside call service I was scheduled for an appointment and was assured they took insurance. A short time thereafter I received a text from a local number that they did not work with insurance but would help me with the paperwork for me to submit for reimbursement. He is extremely professional and without judgement, very straight forward and super informative. Both myself and my son were patients of Dr. Caggiano. My experience was much more than I expected, i was treated respectfully and professionally with a very warm small family feel. If the need should ever arise for another Dental implant, this is where I will go! As far as my son, my only regret is not having before and after pictures. Dr. Caggiano literally changed my sons life. He brought him back to the person he was before an accident that ultimately damaged all his teeth to the point he wouldn't smile, became self conscious and withdrawn. He is back to being confident and outgoing, looking forward to life. Dr. Caggiano made my son feel very comfortable so my son was able to open up to him. I'm writing this post because I heard an advertisement by Dr. Caggiano on the radio this morning, and I thought it might be wise to share a real-life customer experience. I saw Dr. Caggiano several years ago when I first moved to Seattle. Since my move disrupted my normal cleaning schedule, I had gone more than a year without seeing a dentist. Upon my first exam, Dr. Caggiano recommended a form of ultrasonic cleaning treatment. As I was sitting in the chair ready for the procedure to begin, I asked how much of the procedure my insurance would cover. I was then told that my out-of-pocket expenses would be in the area of $1,100! I then paused on the procedure and went for a second opinion. The second dentist was flabbergasted, and simply said my teeth needed to be cleaned. No ultra sonic treatment was necessary. Long story short...beware of Dentists that need to advertise on the radio to get business. I'm guessing 98% of good dentists earn their business through referrals. So if you're afraid of treatment, ask a friend or coworker if they like their dentist. Don't respond to a fancy ad that your fees will end up paying for! Grew up in Madison Park, Dad still lives there - and found Caggiano on yelp (which I use several times a week) - so I simply assumed I would get quality care - NO... First of all, I am very aware I have bad teeth due to enamel erosion/grinding/wear, and have had about $20,000 in crowns and fillings as a result of it primarily in another state. So it was not exactly shocking, to first have the (very nice, BTW) hygienist say to me, "WOW...you have a lot of wear for someone your age..." - I am fully aware of this. However, I was not expecting Caggiano's proposed solution to the problem - to replace my *entire* lower mouth b/c I had some "irregular bite" which *no other dentist* (and I've seen more than my fair share in my lifetime). Bottom line - he wanted to put crowns on my *entire* lower mouth - as well as replace my (only 5 years old) crowns I paid $14,000 for just 5 years ago. I was literally...utterly...in shock. The man has zero personality - but that's not what dentists are for - but he was very abrupt, rude, and made me feel "bad" r.e. my teeth's condition. To fix all that, in his humble opinion, needed to be fixed - would cost a whooping $28,000 - decent price for a lower end luxury car, eh? And of course, completely out of pocket. So, being the smart consumer/person I try to be, I got two other second opinions who had the exact same opinion which is the complete opposite of Caggiano's - that I simply needed *fillings* on my lower teeth, and there was absolutely nothing wrong with my "bite" whatsoever. I could've paid less, but I have learned the hard way that "you get what you pay for" and was not interested in the cheapest dentist I could find. Bottom line - I ended up paying $1,600 by another dentist - he very firmly emphasized that - yes, the teeth showed wear/erosion, but that did not merit destroying them with crowns - anyone who knows anything about crowns basically knows crowns essentially destroy the integrity of the tooth. Another dentist said the same thing - crowns were *completely unnecessary* at this time - and flat out said "go spend your $$$ on a new car" - b/c that's how much crowns cost. Bottom line, without mentioning Caggiano's name (I'm not a mean person after all - but consumers deserve to know the truth), I told another dentist that I'd seen (Caggiano) who "advertises on the radio" as Caggiano does (even my 78-year old father had heard of him through his radio ads....) And my new dentist said, "quite frankly, I am so busy I would not have even taken you on as a client unless you were referred by a fellow patient" and "busy/successful/good dentists do *not need* to advertise on the radio, etc. b/c good dentists are found through 'word of mouth', period - good dentists have no need to advertise." So Consumer Beware...his "$99 special for new clients" is totally false as well - he sticks you with expensive panoramic ex-rays that you don't even ask for, etc. With major dental issues from cancer surgery to buying a car - a second/third opinion is extremely important in this life, period. He contributes to the dental field's bad rap as being "money hungry", etc, in addition to being a total embarrassment to Madison Park IMO..... read more

Seattle's Best Smiles did a great job with my cleaning and dental exam yesterday. Dr. Caggiano was nice, and the hygienist took her time with my teeth. She worked into the next appointment time with me, because they had a cancellation. This was great, because I hadn't been to the dentist in three years since I've never had dental insurance. Another great thing, this place has uninsured rates! It only cost me $84 for a dental exam, x-rays, and a cleaning. The dental schools I've looked at in the area cost more than that! My consultation for an implant was maybe 2 min and long and not very thorough. I left with many questions. Kara is rather abrasive and hard to talk to. The dr. Seems nice but again left with many questions. Felt rushed in and out. Communicating with this office on a comfort level posed to be a challenge. Best dental work I have ever experienced. My question is why aren't YOU going to see Mark today?!?!?

I had a wonderful experience at my appointment with Dr. Caggiano. It started with a very informative consultation. Dr. Caggiano went over a questionnaire I had previously filled out and made several notes while we visited. I felt he genuinely was interested in my concerns and my overall goal for my smile:) I didn't feel rushed at all. I tend to think that doctor's are so busy cramming one patient after the other and they are in a hurry causing me to feel anxious, but Dr. Caggiano ended up spending almost 2 1/2 hours with me that day. I obviously have a lot of dental work that needs to be done and I wanted to find just the right doctor to do it! I honestly can say that I have found him! I was also concerned that my insurance wouldn't pay for the x-ray's he wanted to take but he said "oh you don't need to worry about that...we have an easy way of taking x-ray's and there is no charge." There was no charge for the whole 2 1/2 hours! He sat with me and went over the x-ray's and pointed out all of my problem areas, including some very old crowns and fillings. He suggested that I use a sonicare type toothbrush and said he preferred Oral B. I told him that I would try one, but that I typically don't like those...they rattle my eyeballs, lol. He ended up giving me one to use. How thoughtful huh? So, I went back today for a cleaning and he popped his head in and said "how's that toothbrush working for you?" So nice for him to remember. My hygienist, Jennifer, was amazing! I can honestly say that I am excited to start with my plan to get my whole mouth a lot healthier. I suggest to anyone who may have been putting off their dental care (like I was) or are just looking for an amazing dentist to make an appointment with Dr. Caggiano today! I saw Dr. Caggiano last week when I went to his office as a new patient. He has an awesome offer for patients without insurance, which is what brought me in. I was so impressed, his hygienist Jennifer was extremely thorough. When Dr. Caggiano came in to do the exam he really took the time to explain his findings and it helped me to understand what was going on in my mouth. I had some work that needed to be done and was given a treatment plan immediately and was offered payment options and was able to schedule right away.
