Decent food for a hotel restaurant. Ordered food late to go and it was made wrong. My friend ordered regular fries and got sweet potato fries, I ordered everything on the side for my burger and it came with everything on it, not to mention the lettuce looked soggy and disgusting. But they were closing so we didn't bother trying to get it fixed. But overall everything tasted good and I would go back if I stay there for work again. read more

Stayed at the Hilton that is connected to this restaurant. Had dinner here yesterday and the bar was full. It's a small bar like maybe 12 seats but every one was taken. They have plenty of tables outside the bar seats. The staff was friendly and it appears they were short staffed since there were only two waitresses for the whole restaurant plus the bartender. I ordered the soup and salad combo. I had the gumbo which was decent. I also had the Caesar salad which was also good. The menu has a lot of other selections. There is very little else in the area and even less if you don't have a car. Overall not a bad place to go when staying at the Hilton. read more

I stayed here for a night last week, it's near the airport so it's very convenient. I went down the bar to get some late night food To-Go, my bartender was super sweet and the restaurant luckily takes Apple Pay! I ordered a burger and fries and it was so good. Got stuck eating here while staying at the hotel. Had the gumbo/jambalaya/red beans sampler. I intended on getting more but you'll understand why I didn't after this. The gumbo had me nearly getting tested for covid since it had zero flavor. The jambalaya would have been tolerable had it not been at least 3 days old based on the stale rice in it. The star of the show was definitely the red beans and rice which had been left out so long they had a crust across the top I had to break through. It took over 30 minutes to receive my food and 35 minutes for them to inform me they couldn't make the bourbon drink I ordered. This "meal" cost me $20 plus tip and should have had Joe Rogan offering me money to eat it. read more

We stayed at the Hilton and this restaurant is located inside. We went here for lunch because it was convenient. I believe they were understaffed but typically one can overcome this with great service. We ordered our food and 30 minutes went by before the server came over and told us they were out of the scallops my mother-in-law ordered. At least three tables that ordered after we did received their food before us. The gumbo and red beans and rice weren't bad but the burger I ordered was not very good at all. For a restaurant inside of a Hotel, its not entirely terrible, but the prices are a bit redic for what they have. the menu is pretty basic, and flavors are bland. My friend got a cesar salad, okay $9 nothing special and added shrimp. Salad turned out to be about $20 after adding the shrimp and they werent all that. What saved my meal was the pumpkin butternut squash soup. I was pleasantly surprised by this. Also, my bread pudding was decent. The fried oyster tacos were not good at all. Over fried and the slaw didnt go well with them. Service was slow, we seated ourseleves and didnt have a waitress come over for at least 5 mins. Its clean, and has a full bar and plenty of TVS tho. I guess when youre staying in the hotel, this isnt a terrible option but i was not impressed. read more

Your stuck and a UBER ride to the city is $75... No other choice but the Hilton since that is where you are staying. Well I was pleasantly surprised with the food and the service. Lisa was my server and she went over and beyond. Unfortunately I don't eat pork or shrimp which almost 50% of the menu consisted of something with one or the other. She quickly said she could accommodate me as I was craving their red beans and rice with chicken instead of sausage. I also wanted some beets but did not want the huge portion of beet salad and she prepared a garden salad with beets in it. And to finish I had the bread pudding to go to. That was so delightful! We really enjoyed our meal. Everything was tasty and the staff were friendly and fast. My only concern was a mistake on my po boy. Though minor it was still there. I would highly recommend, especially since the hotel lobby it connects to was freezing. It was a nice refuge on a really cold day. read more

This once was a decent hotel restaurant. However the menu posted here is way old and outdated. Now it's a corporate menu similar to what many hotels are doing. Few selections, high price and low quality. This place meets that to a T. I'd almost rather have spent the same money in the gas station next door and taken my chances with the rotisserie hot dog. Well I'm assuming if you eating here it's because you don't have a car. So if that's true the food is pretty good. If not you should go elsewhere. The kitchen is soooooo slow. I thought I'd die before my food arrived. Once it do it was good but at hotel prices it's average. Then because I'm slow I got the bread pudding because reviews said it was good, but it was NOT good!! It sucked. It was mush, skip it and just be glad if your food arrived in the same decade!! Had the Salmon entree in the hotel bar/lounge. The "rooted vegetables" were listed as coming with the fish. I was served the Salmon with 4 pieces of boiled carrots. 4 pieces... "Is this the vegetable?" I asked the bartender. She said they ran out of the regular vegetables. A normal entree would come with grilled asparagus or a mixed spread of vegetables. Something. My wife and I had dinner at the Hilton instead if going out to the french quarter. I went in having pretty low expectations, but our waitress, Lisa made all the right recommendations. I had the shrimp creole which was clearly made fresh. The taste of the herbs and celery helped ranked this dish way up there. The garlic bread was more of a garlic rock... a little too tough. I had the relief pitcher to drink, bourbon, sprite, and line which was well balanced. My wifes chicken cesar salad was perfectly balanced and not overly wet. she really enjoyed the chicken. Of course a hotel restaurant is going to have inflated prices, but $12 for 6 shrimp was enough that I wanted to make sure others understand--this is NOT for anyone who is money conscious. Ate here for both lunch and dinner while I town for a quick meeting. Chicken Caesar salad for lunch. It hit the spot, $4 for an iced tea so I asked for one to go! Dinner was the same menu, had Mac and cheese on the appetizer menu with the garlic bread. Both were terrible but I was starving. No bread pudding so I had the pecan pie, not horrible. Disappointed that there were only a few local dishes. Menu is the same in the room and here is an apology for the format written on that one so it sounds like they may be redoing the menu. This place is adequate, especially for the weary traveler. Nothing fancy, but decent food and friendly service.

Not a very good meal. I had a burger with a cold patty and a stale bun. I am not sure if they also do the room service, but that was gross as well. The service has been fantastic, but the quality of food is aweful. read more

I give it 2 stars because of slow service. We waited an hour for one pizza and one sandwich. Our server was polite and attentive but there had to be mix up in kitchen. Once she talked with the manager about our order, the food arrived within 10 minutes. The manager offered us a bowl of soup while we waited. The pizza was average as was the sandwich . I ordered the Kenner Cobb salad and it was below average. The lettuce came out in a wedge form and had about 5 shrimp on it. The blue cheese crumbles were more like large cubes of blue cheese. The tasso was small pieces of ham. The grilled shrimp were cold boiled shrimp. Salad was $14 and was on the smaller size and an ice tea was $4. I would have been better off at Wendy's.
