They scald my grass with their mowers (set too low at times) and string trimmers. They frequently fail to edge my grass. We pay for their so called service. I am sure they are the low bid and it shows. When they kill our grass, our HOA requires us to put down sod at our expense. It requires hours of my time and honestly heavy work that is difficult for a 71 year old to perform to repair their damage. They fail to return my calls when I try to enlist their assistance. Please don't contract with these folks. They really just don't care. They deserve 0 stars but apparently can't do this

I found Dave at a Raleigh home show. I wanted landscaping plans we could follow to avoid the…read morebickering later on of what to plant where. My backyard was a complete mess. I have drainage issues and needed the entire area cleared of brush. Dave drew up both drainage and a landscaping plan for me in an AutoCad program. He was extremely easy to work with and picked lots of plant species that are easy to find locally in NC. That doesn't seem like a big deal for easy to find plants until you have to begin sourcing the plants. I worked with another company to do the actual landscape work and we are doing the plantings ourselves. Since then Dave has been a tremendous resource. He has helped me find my favorite plant nursery, a civil engineer, suggested alternative plants, and come back out to discuss additional tweaks to my yard. He is highly responsive, professional, prompt & affordable. I highly recommend Accent Design if you are looking for landscape plans & need a landscape architect to help you out. I will be hiring him again to do the front of my house once I can afford it.

Her designs have interest year round with beautiful fall colors, winter having enough evergreens to make it look good when everything else is gone and of course spring/summer is gorgeous. If you have existing plants you want to keep, Susan can put those in the plan and integrate them with everything else. Susan is super responsive and has a great, respectful crew for installation. At this house they also installed a drip system to help get the plants settled in. We had a massive swing set in the backyard with gravel under it. They dug the gravel out and brought in amendments - 10 years later it looks wonderful. You won't regret working with Susan!
