Brian was Our technician who came out for a quote for three different issues in our home. He came out on Monday, arrived 10 minutes early and was very efficient and thorough in explaining the issues we had and recommendations for fixing them. We then scheduled for the work to be done on Wednesday. He was timely, told us it would take about 4 hours and got it done in about 3.5 hours. He took the time to go over our new appliances he installed as well as the warranties and any other necessary information we would need in terms of operating or managing our new sinks and reverse osmosis system. Very fair price and very happy! We no longer need to leave a sign in our spare sink saying do not use, and we finally have a reverse osmosis system, new kitchen faucet, and new garbage disposal. Called Second Opinion Plumbing on Saturday around 9am to report a leak outside the house. Charles arrived within 90 minutes and quickly diagnosed the problem as a defective pressure value breaker. My lawn sprinkler stopped working a day or two before the leak was discovered. Charles explained to me that the pressure valve breaker was preventing the sprinkler from turning on. Sure enough, after replacing the part, the leak stopped, and the sprinkler turned on. It feels like I got two repairs for the price of one. I watched as Charles completed the repair, and he explained what he was doing and why. I needed the water shut off for my fridge water line replaced. The old one was leaking and could not be shut off. They scheduled me for the next day and contacted me that day earlier than scheduled to see if they could come over early! Yes! Second Opinion should be your First choice! We called this company after we got a Crazy expensive estimate from the first company we called. We had a kitchen sink drain that went from slow to not draining. The rep from the first company didn't even Look at the problem - he started with asking if we had insurance, then said we would need to replace all our water lines (for $4500!) and suggested we lie to our insurance company so they would cover the cost! He made a half-hearted attempt to snake the line and set an appointment to come back with a camera the following day. He also Didn't wear a face mask! That's when we decided to get a second opinion - and thank goodness we did! Second Opinion Plumbing sent Brian Brooks, a rep who actually worked at cleaning the drain! He agreed with the first plumber, that there were "bends" in the line. But, unlike the first guy, he Didn't think the lines needed replacing! Brian worked hard for at least an hour, snaking the drains all the way through. The price he charged was reasonable, and he was friendly and professional (wearing a mask the whole time).
