This is a nice restaurant to take somebody for a special occasion. It's pretty fancy looking, the lighting and other decorations makes for a good ambiance. All of the food we got was pretty good. I really liked the seasoning on the calamari and on the chicken parmagiano. The strawberry lemonade mocktail was also made pretty well and is very photogenic. The lava cake is probably my favorite part of the meal. The service could've been a little more attentive but it's nothing to complain too much about. All of the food we got was good, but doesn't really stand out from other establishments.

For starters...we did not have reservations. The hostess offered us a seat outside on a 100* weather day. I inquired about the bar area-and she said we could sit where there was not a linen table cloth. Yay! The bar area was the perfect t place for me and my friends. It had good entertainment-a man singing and playing a guitar. We enjoyed the pineapple sangria and were allowed to order from the dinner menu that's offered in the fine dining area. Our service when we sat down was quick but then became slow because the bar got crowded. We ordered the chicken parm and a burger. Both were delicious. The most outstanding garlic rolls with a garlic olive oil accompanied the chicken! Our servers were overwhelmed but I would still go back and sit in the bar area again. Who needs a tablecloth?

A great vibe in Cape May right on the Bay. We were meeting friends for a night out and had my 2 kids with us (10/12yos). We chose this spot because of the wood pizzas on the menu but found out this was the bar area only. But that's ok because my kids still thoroughly enjoyed the garlic bread for the table and their meal options. It was a great night out and experience! We were well taken care of by the server and support team! Stick with the meat options - my kids enjoyed the crispy fish and lemon chicken but the pasta dish I ordered left much to be desired for the price point (literally tasted like a frozen lean cuisine dish). I liked the experience but for the price point...the food was just meh. Not bad...but not great.

Our first time at Secondo Panico's although we've passed it many times on our way from North WIldwood to Cape May. I've also heard many rave reviews and decided to try it for our anniversary. We arrived early for our reservation and a table wasn't ready so we headed to the outside bar for a drink as we waited. The atmosphere inside and out is beautiful. The outdoor bar is nestled off to the corner and a great spot to take in the beautiful views of the fishing boats and the water. The cocktail menu was extensive but I stuck to my classic vodka martini with blue cheese stuffed olives which was perfect and a full glass too. We were texted when the table was ready which was right on time for our reservation. The server brought us 2 complementary glasses of champagne and wished us a happy anniversary. She also told us about the menu and all of the specials. She was very knowledgeable about every dish and answered all of our questions. The meal began with a fresh baked focaccia bread and garlic infused olive oil to dip. It was excellent. We started with the octopus appetizer and the seafood soup. The octopus was cooked just right but a very small portion. The soup was not so good and overly salty. For one entree we chose the goat cheese, scallop, and seafood ravioli. The dish was on the small side and also very salty. It was just ok aside from the salt. Don't get me wrong I love things on the salty side but this was a bit too much. The other entree we ordered was the fra diablo seafood spaghettini. This was a nice sized portion and the pasta and seafood cooked well but also extremely salty. Overall the food was average at best outside of the saltiness. The service was 5 stars as was the ambiance. Will we go back? Likely yes but only for cocktails at the bar and maybe try the pizza.

"I'm sorry" is all that can be said. Sorry you didn't get the table you wanted after two months of making a reservation. I'm sorry the dishes are dirty. I'm sorry for the poor service. Sorry we don't have seltzer but we were able to order it at the bar (huh). I'm sorry for being out of menu items. I get it. Staff is low but this was just poor service. My sister brought all her friends together and I booked this trip months in advance. It was a total disappointment. We didn't make it past ordering appetizers. We didn't get drink menus (huh??). It was just a mess. We left feeling disappointed and no attempts were made to make it right.

No point making a reservation because you still have to wait a half hour or longer. Ridiculous .

Food had some definite highs, but unfortunately, a big low. There's a lot going on in the dishes. We ordered two appetizers to start. The Tuna Tartare unfortunately was pretty bland and my wife thought a tad fishy. The Foie Gras by itself was delicious but it was drowned in a sauce that overpowered it. I wouldn't order them again, but there are lots of other options. The pasta course took a really long time to come out. We almost thought they lost the order. When the Radiatori arrived, it was worth the wait. A little spicy but delicious! Definitely recommended but pretty pricey for a small portion at $25. The entrees were delicious! My wife had the filet mignon with broccolini and delicious mashed potatoes. I had the delicious duck breast with asparagus. They were 5 star entrees and we loved them. Highly recommend both. We tried the off menu special dessert; chocolate chip banana bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. The bread pudding was terrible; perhaps the worst dessert I have ever tried - dried out and strange taste we thought. It didn't pass the audition for the menu for us.

For the entrée, I had the house-made rigatoni pasta topped with a scoop of ricotta. The pasta was fresh and delicious. For dessert, I enjoyed the strawberry panna cotta, which was a perfect sweet finish. Portions were good, and everything was incredibly flavorful and satisfying. Service was very attentive, adding to the overall great experience. The ambiance was a little upscale and intimate, with not many tables, making it a cozy setting. We brought our own wine to pair with dinner. Prices were reasonable, and the restaurant week menu offered good value. I'd definitely recommend GRANA BYOB for a special night out.

You can tell this place is run by people who genuinely care AND the pizza was fantastic. We ordered the Meat Lovers pizza slices (and honestly would've gone for a whole pizza if we were hungrier). When I asked for it I got an attitude I also had our pet with my family a small Yorkie I was told he would have to remain under the table. I told the owner Mario he couldn't to risk any kind of infection that he might get, as they don't mop the dirty floor everytime a person sits inside to eat at his establishment. With that in mind I choose to go up a better place near the beach I found the food there and the personality was a whole lot better I will go there instead now. I find people that own business in Cape may like this one should know the customer is priority not just another dollar bill made , in my opinion anyone that treats a family pet with no respect or uses boxed ingredients don't deserve to be in any business at all....avoi this stuper its not as it seems to be .
