I got invited to visit Secrete Nail Bar. Walking in was beautiful! The colors and the vibe was comforting. The patio in the back is beautiful with surrounded with plants. The chairs are comfy and modern. As I walked in I was greeted warmly and offered drinks. They have a fun selection of mixed drinks and coffee. I got a structure gel service. The colors options were BEAUTIFUL! My nail tech was very gentle and easy to talk to if I had any questions. Even when things were quiet it wasn't awkward or anything. They had friends and vampire diaries playing on the TV which is a nice change up, usually I'm watching the news at my other salon. Also they had phone stands at every table which came in handy and a nice plus. Overall it was a great experience! I want to come back and want to bring my mother in law for a mani pedi. This is a place to go to where you want to feel spoiled and taken care of without spending an arm and a leg! Love this place. Will be back! read more

Today was my second time at Secrete Nail Bar and let me tell you, just starting from the place itself and the ambiance, it's a wonderful experience. It's far from your typical nail salon and actually feels like a reprieve from day to day life. Literally the definition of self care and relaxation, like you're on a mini vaca. I gave this place 2 try's I'm not going for a 3rd they are nice and it's a clean place well designed but... they aren't well equipped. They message me that what I wanted needed a pro nail tech from a regular nail tech. The design I chose needed someone more experience so I accepted the changes and moved my schedule around for a later appointment. That was one thing but I feel like it was a lie because every time I sent a photo or video they say yes they can do that yet I leave disappointed. I'm very quiet about me being dissatisfied but you can see it in my eyes. The first time I went they were my natural nails but I got cut so many times and I said nothing when I should've have spoken up that's why I had to switch to gelX for the new set because the shape was just awful. Which to start the nail shape was good but as the session went on she kept trying to perfect it.The photo of that one is the brown nails when they also said they can do that. Mind you both nail styles a jelly type nail polishes that I wanted and didn't not get that. She did her best to mix up colors but at that point it was late and I wanted to go home and just excepted the color. Same for the green nail color. I wish they would just be forward with their colors and what they are capable of doing. First time trying Secrete Nail Bar in Westminster. I was referred by my sister and I tried their $60 gel-x cat eye Easter promo. Shelby was my nail tech and did a really great job! My nails feel soo clean and look so good! Shelby took the time to ask what I liked and made sure I was comfortable through the whole appointment. The rest of the staff is very friendly and welcoming as well. The place is very clean and has a really cool back patio to hang out in. They also provide complimentary drinks which make you feel very taken care of. I would definitely recommend and will be coming back again! read more

It seems like Jojo (the owner?) chooses to only be polite to customers from a certain race. When JoJo did my nails, her responses were short and rude. When I was being serviced by another tech and saw the way Jojo interacted with a different client, her energy was cheery and warm. When I was charged $120 for a service and I asked her to break down the price, she seemed confused and caught off guard, as if she had just given me a random price and was now being asked to justify it. I loved everything about my nails, the shape, color, the fact that they weren't too thick. And with a busy schedule I could really appreciate how efficient she was with her time. Will not be going there again after I told the nail tech that she left my nails bumpy when they are supposed to lay flat and she told me that's how my nails naturally are... I've been getting my nails with gel x for years and they have never been like that before. the nail tech just completely disregarded the issue and kept going. This place was a nightmare experience. I'm new to the OC and it took me FOREVER to find a good nail spot that did gel x with detailed designs. I finally thought I had a great new place to go to. The only great thing about this place was the nail tech that did my nails. She was brand new to the country and obviously to this shop. She did an amazing job on my nails, I LOVED it and was so excited to show off my nails and give recs for others to come see her. HOWEVER, after I checked out the nightmare started. The owner and /or her store mgr was sending very rude, unprofessional texts back n forth to me when I asked them to send me the pics I took of my nails in their salon. They complained about me asking for coffee and extra cream, when they ASKED me if I wanted a beverage (keep in mind they serve alcoholic beverages in their shop which I wasn't aware of and wasn't offered). They said they don't normally take pics and send them to clients because they have to keep up w their professionalism, appearance etc. I've never in the 20+ yrs I've been getting my nails done, hear about a salon complaining about clients doing basically FREE advertisement by posting the services they got. Keep in mind, they have a tree and lighting set up in their salon to take nail pics so that was a bunch of bs. They also complained about me asking for a pedicure last minute, not true, I asked my nail tech and she said she can do it, someone else ended up doing it, didn't give me any kind of massage and I was told that put them in a bind and the owner was annoyed when I told her I didn't get a massage w/ my $50 pedicure. I'm so hurt and annoyed by the unprofessionalism from this nail salon, the owner and the mgr. I've already submitted a complaint to the BBB as well to investigate. Not only do I have to find another nail tech whom I really liked, I'm so traumatized by the treatment I received, I'm not sure if I'll ever go to another nail salon. read more

My nail tech was Jiao and she was really welcoming. I loved her work and wanted to give her a try. She was very gentle and fluent with her work. It seemed natural to her as breathing was. The nails come out clean, but the most memorable part was the conversation. Jiao was telling me about her incredible life before becoming a nail tech. She saved countless children in Africa from abductions, single handedly deescalated the Cold War, and was by General George Washington's side when they finally won the revolution.
