The shop was clean and I appreciated that they took in walk in customers. They also offer various refreshments which is really cool. Yesterday, I opted to get a builder gel manicure on my natural nails, french tip design, and 3D flowers. I also got a french tip pedicure. I paid $161, not including tip. The pedicure was great, the french tip was done nicely, although the tech did leave some gel on my skin. For the manicure, the nail art was great, however the manicure itself left a lot to desire. I would not recommend getting any gel manicures here. Maybe gel-x or acrylic would be safer for your natural nails if you're getting them done here. The initial shaping of the nails had me concerned as the tech filed deep along my side walls. I did receive some cuts from the cuticle clean up. I wish I realized the extent of the damage before leaving the salon. I had asked the tech if cuticle care was included and she mentioned it wasn't, but still cleaned mine up (rather roughly). If you come here, I recommend not getting your natural nails shaped to avoid damage to your nail bed. Definitely get some nail art as the techs are talented, but be wary of nail shaping - Over filing of the side walls can cause onycholysis! My nails did come out beautiful, but my fingertips sting and burn. The cuts will eventually heal, but I wouldn't say the service was worth the physical damage to my natural nails and cuticles. I will not be coming back. UPDATE: The owner saw my review and took it upon herself to text me about it. She continuously misread my communications with her and did not take my injuries seriously. I came in as a walk-in on Thursday around 1:30 PM. The salon was full, so I waited a bit before being seated. The person who did my nails worked quickly, but during the gel removal and polish application, she held my fingers pretty tightly--at times it felt like her nails were digging into my skin, which was uncomfortable. The biggest issue was pricing at checkout. The staff member ringing me up was going back and forth with another worker about whether gel removal is included in a gel color change or charged separately. I checked the salon's website before coming, and it listed a gel color change as $22. However, I was charged $24 cash (and slightly more with card) plus an additional $2 for gel removal. I recommend calling ahead to confirm pricing before visiting. The staff also needs clearer training on their pricing--customers shouldn't hear employees arguing (in Vietnamese) while still being charged when they're not sure. I won't be coming back. read more

This was my first time and I was looking forward to it based on the reviews. In all, it was a disappointing experience for me. Front counter person was not friendly when we first walked in. The place did not exude a relaxing or friendly atmosphere. I would have rated 5 stars if it was only about the tech that did my daughter's nails. My daughter had a maincure with cat eye polish and French tip. The tech spent the entire time we were there working on my daughter's nails and they turned out great. I had a Gel-X set done by Patrick (that was the name on the equipment). Patrick rushed and did a poor job. I started later but was done before my daughter. Some of the nails were set crooked. When he asked for what shape, I said oval. He said the set comes in almond shape. I told him if it was too much trouble, almond was fine. He said he would do them oval. Then when I saw the nails were too long and asked to cut them shorter, Patrick snapped and said I should have told him so he could have used a shorter set. He then cut them a little and shaped them into pointy shape, not almond nor oval. Not sure if he didn't know how to shape the nails and this was all he could do. Patrick was also rude to the tech that worked on my daughter's nail when she had difficulty figuring out how much change to give back to me. We were not told what we were charged for nor given a receipt, only was told the total amount. In the end, I went home and cut my nails down and reshaped them to oval and made them look less crooked. read more

My friends brought me here for my birthday pedicure and I really enjoyed it! Some drinks are complimentary. I got a Vietnamese coffee (packet powder), my friends got a Lipton tea and mimosa. I picked the herbal pedicure package (45 dollars) and I felt like that was a good value. I also requested for extra time massage so that was a dollar per minute. I added an extra 15 minutes for feet leg massage. The service was good though the massage was pretty soft/weak. I asked her to do a bit harder but she didn't adjust much. this used to be my go-to salon in OC, but my most recent visit in 2024 made me so uncomfortable that I haven't returned since. their amenities are wonderful and some of the nail techs are very sweet (thank you Natalie!), but during my last mani/pedi I had an experience that left a bad impression. the man doing my pedi was kind, but there were four other nail techs nearby speaking in Vietnamese, and one of them kept gesturing toward me. suddenly, one of them looked at me and asked in English if I spoke Vietnamese. when I said no, they all laughed and continued speaking to each other and gesturing at me without any explanation. even if they weren't saying anything rude, it put me in an extremely uncomfortable position as a customer. I still think the salon offers great services and options, but I really wish they were more respectful and mindful of how their conversations and behavior may come across to clients!! read more

During our appointment, the salon TV was playing a mature movie with graphic, extended killing scenes, in full view of my granddaughter and everyone in the room. The owner was busy with a cable technician, so I waited politely and then asked if the TV could be turned off or changed. She refused. She told me the salon is an "adult environment," that everyone else was watching the movie, and that they would respect the adults in the room, not a child. A nail salon is not an adults-only business, and this one had just accepted my granddaughter as a paying client. Asking to switch off graphic violence in front of a 5-year-old is not an unreasonable request; it's basic courtesy. I paid for the partial work that had been done and left. The nail work here has generally been fine, which is why I kept coming back. But I can't recommend a place where the owner will openly tell a longtime customer that a small child's wellbeing doesn't matter. Families with kids, please be aware before you book. read more

I absolutely understand chrome is a upcharge. I got chrome twice. Base and on my design. Also, let's not forget my base is a nude gel with EYESHADOW PIGMENT from an eyeshadow palette. 5$ for a cuticle cut after messing up my design (which I said fine. It's my "vision". Since the sheer chrome laid out on my base didn't feature the colors I asked for! Which, was rebutted with a "that's too much" on a design I ASKED FOR) Yes you asked if it was good, yes I left you a fat tip, on a wack ass design that you couldn't even do the colors I asked for. I would love to see a detailed receipt cost after this review because I still can't justify what has been done. My nails aren't even the same length as my other hand. Not even a full new gel x set. Just a fill and I'm getting charged a full set plus design with colors i didnt get? Which I specified what colors but home girl didn't feel like doing cause it was "too much". You're a nail salon. If I offer 3 different designs, and you choose one that is available to you and you can't even honor it? But want to charge me full price after messing up the original design? My concern is the customer service and the unnecessary attitude that seems to come with asking a question, making a request, or giving honest feedback. I came in for a hard gel manicure, and the appointment was taking longer than I had anticipated based on my previous experiences. Because I had somewhere I needed to be, I simply asked how much longer it would take so I could gauge whether I had enough time. Instead of receiving a straightforward answer, the technician began rolling her eyes, huffing, and visibly showing frustration. I wasn't criticizing her work or demanding that she rush--I was asking a reasonable question about timing. Because I didn't want her to feel rushed and knew I needed to leave, I said it was okay and that I would rather stop the appointment than pressure her to finish quickly. At that point, she became upset and told me I was going to be charged. She then spoke to the owner, whose immediate response to me was, "Oh, so you're just late," with an attitude, rather than asking what had happened or trying to understand the situation. I was told to come back the following day, so I did. Then I received a message saying that I couldn't walk in and needed an appointment, which was confusing considering I had returned specifically because I had been told to do so. What makes this particularly frustrating is that this is not the first time I've experienced this type of interaction here. I shouldn't feel like I have to shrink myself, avoid asking reasonable questions, or carefully manage someone else's attitude just to receive a service I'm paying for. Clients should be able to communicate respectfully with their technician without being met with eye-rolling, huffing, dismissive comments, or defensiveness. And if a situation does arise, I would expect the owner to help resolve it professionally rather than immediately adding to the tension. Again, this isn't a criticism of their technical ability. It's about professionalism and how customers are treated. Good work doesn't excuse poor communication or make a client responsible for tolerating disrespectful behavior. I hope they take this feedback seriously because the atmosphere and customer experience matter just as much as the finished service. For the owners response: no maam, I did not rush her, I asked her, my appointments are on live translation if you'd like me to post that conversation. Also I'm not a difficult customer, I just don't take the talking back and disrespectful behavior. Your technician is touchy and so are you. This is a great place to get your nails done. Very instagrammable. Colorful decor with flowers hanging from the ceiling. The bathroom even had a waterfall, LED lights, and a parrot decor. I took my bf here for a pedicure and he LOVED it haha. There are plenty of colors to choose from and they serve you a complimentary non-alcoholic drink. They also serve alcohol (like mimosa) but I have never gotten one. I love their seashell color collection and hope to try multiple colors. It's filled with money hungry employees that will bluntly talk about you during your service if you do not fall for their up selling practices. What you'll find is a group of unhappy employees that will bicker and fight over the smallest of things. If a client walks in and does not want gel polish, there is no need to be pushy or rude about it. Your demeanor and attitude could use some work. As soon as I came in, the owner recognized my voice from the call and immediately got me situated with Kim. Nowadays, pedicures are 30 minutes in and out with no time or effort and I missed good pedicures and I definitely got a great one with Kim. As soon as I was seated, I was asked if I wanted a drink (opted for green tea) and I got to relax. Since I do my nails usually, I know exactly what I like and am a bit picky, but I didn't have to tell Kim anything, got extra massage with my epsom salt pedi, and was out in a little under 2 hours. From the start, it was a great experience. I haven't had my nails done for over 8 months so I was a little nervous coming to a nail salon due to the sensitivity and health of my nails. I brought my friend for her birthday. As we sat down they asked what we were coming in for and they sang her happy birthday. They are so sweet. My friend had Tiffany do her color change and design manicure over her existing clear dip and someone else do her toes, I didn't catch her name. My friend did say she dug out her ingrown toenail and it gave her relief as well her getting the deluxe pedicure with regular polish. I had Holly do my pedicure. I asked for French tip gel on my toes and she had to remove existing gel as well as fix my big toe (it was chipped and broken ,very crooked). I don't even notice her putting tips on or fixing it but the next time I looked down my nail looked so straight, she did great. The deluxe pedi came with a 5 minute massage and a scrub. Last but not least, I had my gel x manicure done by Angie. She did AMAZING! She was so quick with her work. She was busting out the airbrush, the cat eye/ magnet, and all of the pearls/ rhinestones. They look so so so good. Just like my reference photo but she personalized it. I will 100% be going back and my friend agreed that she would go back too!
