I came in as a walk-in on Thursday around 1:30 PM. The salon was full, so I waited a bit before being seated. The person who did my nails worked quickly, but during the gel removal and polish application, she held my fingers pretty tightly--at times it felt like her nails were digging into my skin, which was uncomfortable. The biggest issue was pricing at checkout. The staff member ringing me up was going back and forth with another worker about whether gel removal is included in a gel color change or charged separately. I checked the salon's website before coming, and it listed a gel color change as $22. However, I was charged $24 cash (and slightly more with card) plus an additional $2 for gel removal. I recommend calling ahead to confirm pricing before visiting. The staff also needs clearer training on their pricing--customers shouldn't hear employees arguing (in Vietnamese) while still being charged when they're not sure. I won't be coming back. read more

this used to be my go-to salon in OC, but my most recent visit in 2024 made me so uncomfortable that I haven't returned since. their amenities are wonderful and some of the nail techs are very sweet (thank you Natalie!), but during my last mani/pedi I had an experience that left a bad impression. the man doing my pedi was kind, but there were four other nail techs nearby speaking in Vietnamese, and one of them kept gesturing toward me. suddenly, one of them looked at me and asked in English if I spoke Vietnamese. when I said no, they all laughed and continued speaking to each other and gesturing at me without any explanation. even if they weren't saying anything rude, it put me in an extremely uncomfortable position as a customer. I still think the salon offers great services and options, but I really wish they were more respectful and mindful of how their conversations and behavior may come across to clients!! read more

Nowadays, pedicures are 30 minutes in and out with no time or effort and I missed good pedicures and I definitely got a great one with Kim. As soon as I was seated, I was asked if I wanted a drink (opted for green tea) and I got to relax. From the start, it was a great experience. I haven't had my nails done for over 8 months so I was a little nervous coming to a nail salon due to the sensitivity and health of my nails. I brought my friend for her birthday. As we sat down they asked what we were coming in for and they sang her happy birthday. They are so sweet. I asked for French tip gel on my toes and she had to remove existing gel as well as fix my big toe (it was chipped and broken ,very crooked). I don't even notice her putting tips on or fixing it but the next time I looked down my nail looked so straight, she did great. The deluxe pedi came with a 5 minute massage and a scrub. Last but not least, I had my gel x manicure done by Angie. She did AMAZING! She was so quick with her work. She was busting out the airbrush, the cat eye/ magnet, and all of the pearls/ rhinestones. I got my nails done by Cindy, and got XL cat-eye french tip nails. The nails are absolutely gorgeous!! Cindy took so much time and care to make sure the color of the cateye was what I wanted, and was very kind the entire procedure. I got a pink base, silver cateye, and also got reflective glitter on the smile line of the cateye french. Everyone was very friendly! Now for the retention: for the most part, it was alright! I got them done February 3rd, and it lasted until February 21st, which is about 19 days only. Less than i expected, but there are other factors to keep in mind: - I am clumsy - the nails got knocked around a lot the first week or so, and I kept banging them on other things on accident - I wash the dishes without gloves on - The nail length I got was XXL - much more prone to flipping/stress on them due to the nature of how long it is So, 19 days of retention isn't terrible! But, take it with a grain of salt. I am sure that you can make your nails last even longer if you take care of them, and get them at a shorter length. My review is -1 star because of this - I've had nails just as long from other salons, and they have lasted longer. read more
