I took it here to see if it could be fixed and if not could I recover any data from it. The answer was not what I was hoping for, but the evaluation was done quickly and the customer service was excellent. He was able to take my flash drive apart and found it was NOT 1TB. There were other things wring as well. I was not charged anything since he could not recover any data. I hope you never need this service, but if you do, i recommend this place. Also, never buy a cheap flash drive off Amazon.

In my case it was my son's flash drive, containing key work files, that he had inadvertently reconfigured for a gaming device, thus making it unreadable on a PC. Unlike the other services I had called Brent said that he would call back within 30 minutes with instructions, and that the final cost would be around $100 (final cost was $99). Over the next 2 hours Brent patiently walked me through his remote procedure, unfazed by the fact that he had to work around my PC configuration, and unperturbed when my labtop died because it ran out of charge. At the end all the files were recovered. And though some were unusable because they were overwritten the very fact that some they were recoverable greatly lifted my mood. No miracles were promised, instead I received an efficient, cost effective solution delivered in a jovial and totally professional manner. Thank you Brent for what I hope will be our only encounter. PS I should mention that all of this occurred on a Saturday evening, well outside of "normal " business hours.

My repair has always been done within one hour which is amazing. My phone looks and works like new over and over. I have driven over it with my wheelchair many, many times and the phone's screen is quickly replaced and for way less than replacing the phone for sure! When I lost my phone and had to get a new one I took it there to get a new glass screen protector and they even helped this ole lady find an easier way to unlock it! They charged us $500 to tell us that our hard drive was bad. which we already knew since that was the reason we took it to them in the first place. Then they wanted another $2500 to recover the data. After many failed attempts to contact our "Account Manager" we finally were able to cry foul and the "generously" agreed to lower the amount to $1500 but also increased the recovery time to 5-7 days. Which was no bargain either. We had to put down $299 just to get them started on the recovery. After 5 days I called to find out the status of the recovery and again after multiple attempts at contacting both the Account manager and the local office was told that the recovery was proceeding and should be completed by the end of that day. A day later we received a Form letter that said that they had exhausted all their recovery techniques and that NO data could be recovered! So now we are out $800 dollars for absolutely NOTHING!!! They have terrible customer service and are apparently inept at doing exactly what they claim to be experts at doing. We have no way of knowing exactly what they did. They could have just put the disk on a table and stared at it for all we know. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Their are other companies in Austin that could have done the same thing did for a whole lot less money. We got $800 worth of NOTHING.
