There is nothing good I can say about my experience At Secure Space Vista. I emptied my space 3 weeks ago.I am suppose to receive a refund for $546.00.I have all the paperwork done and approved.I was told I would receive my check in a few days,that was 3 weeks ago.Most of the time no one is there ,even though their hours are posted.I've called corporate and they said there's nothing they can do.I have to talk to the store manager and they say I have to talk to corporate.It's an unbelievable run around.They aren't honest people.This place is a total nightmare.I would not recommend ever using them for storage!!!! Do NOT bring your things here. This place has been a total nightmare and the positive reviews are 100% fake. They are filthy and never clean the facility. They raise prices constantly. They have a moisture problem. Both elevators on my side I need to get to my unit are broken and could not get up to my unit. So it's not ADA compliant. They also do not have carts for you to use. They also have been playing a fun little game charging us $12 for not receiving my proof of renters insurance which I have provided multiple times. This facility is ran so poorly. Your stuff gets so dirty and they could care less to take care of their property. We are planning to get out as soon as possible. I rented two 10x27 drive up units at the end of July 2025 to only discover mice droppings in both my units in August 2025. Even though I informed management right away they didn't fix the drywall nor did they call an exterminator. I was forced to buy mice traps and mice deterrent boxes. The results were disgusting, lots of mice were caught on the sticky traps. The negligence of this property is just beyond words. They shouldn't have rented the units to me in the condition they are. The drywall is falling apart providing an entry point, the units weren't even cleaned properly although they claimed they cleaned them, the facility is infested with mice and poorly maintained. On top of that they double the rates every 3 months for what?? The units are falling apart, dilapidated, dark and dingy; it's a very old facility with very little upgrades. I would strongly advise against storing anything at this facility because I can't stress enough that the entire facility is infested with mice which is a health hazard; mice carry hantavirus and the plague. I am assuming that all my belongings are going to be damaged due to this. This is god awful for anyone to go through. There isn't anything positive I can say here. I spent thousands moving my stuff into this storage facility. read more

You pay for a climate controlled unit, but it's not. When I went there to get my things out, it was hot as hell in there! If you have things like vinyl, this could actually ruin them. They also had multiple elevators out of service, making it very challenging to get things up and down. They also only have 2 carts you can use so if they're being used, you're on your own. Some of the staff there were very nice, whereas some were very rude. There's definitely better kept units around the area for less money. Not worth it for sure! read more

Ripoff. Wait until you hit 6 months and they raise your rent by 66%, which they will 100% do and they will not apologize for it. We could have had our stuff at a much better place for much less than we're paying now. Glad we could finance their new construction that has made going to this place miserable for the last two months. They could at least give the workers access to an outlet so they don't have generators up and down this tiny cavern of a property. Stuff seems safe enough albeit susceptible to flood, so I'm not going to drag them all the way down to a 1. The company will not respond to emails and local management is not given any authority. After being a customer for 5 months I have seen my PRICE INCREASE 3 TIMES. From the initial $54.00 sign up fee plus * $57.50 for the first 3 months, it doubled to * $115.00 for the next 2 months and now we're at the 6 month mark it has increased to * $172.50! When I called to complain they said they're sorry and they could downgrade my storage unit... Ya like that's a solution when my stuff fits in the unit that they initially sold me. Wow, what a pleasant surprise. I found a solution based employee today at Secure Space self storage. I actually had not stopped by our storage unit in a couple years due to them changing the locks and fumigating the property two years ago. However, I needed to get a floorjack that was in the storage locker and wanted to assess purging and canceling the unit. Well LaToya was more than courteous, she listened, thought out a solution and kept a customer, a happy customer. It is refreshing to work with someone such as LaToya. read more

Predatory and borderline fraudulent. I rented a spot in person. (so no online or discount nor promotion). After 3 months, they increased the rent by 50%! I politely send message asking to reconsider, and the options were: smaller unit , delay a month, or lessen the increases by a dollar. Just when you finish all the heavy lifting they screw you. Will recommend against Secure Space to all in USA. Only redeeming feature was the employees and manager. No power over the corporate goon decisions (so they say; and I believe them). They were always working nonstop with a smile (good work ethic), but this made the office looked most the time. read more

Toya and Summer have been great at helping me out when I needed to open up another unit not to mention they have a great personality it's always a pleasure to work with them! This place is ridiculous, first of all the hours when we can access to OUR OWN STUFF it doesn't make sense at all.The lack of communication and posted hours is horrible, we had to move to another storage unit (LITERALLY RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE PREVIOUS ONE) cause out of nowhere they were raising the rent from $60 to over $100. We decided to move our stuff the last day so we wouldn't have to pay any prorated days (which if you are keeping their business shouldn't apply), so we arrived a little before 6pm, went to asked something about the locks and it was then when they tell us that we had until 6pm to move all of our stuff cause they had to check the unit before leaving, THE POSTED HOURS EVERYWHERE SAID THEY CLOSE AT 7PM, we never were notified about having to move by 6PM. I'm so glad we arrived at least a few minutes earlier otherwise they probably would have charge us for another day. Today I wanted to stop by to get something before they closing, arrived at 6:47PM and couldn't get in, someone random inside told me the gate stops working at 6:45PM, WHY DO I NEED TO HEAR THAT FROM SOMEONE RANDOM AND THEY CANT JUST COMMUNICATE WITH YOU? DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR STUFF!!! My unit was robbed and the management of the facility was EXTREMELY suspicious. She had a photo of my unit opened (with everything still inside) on her personal device and accidentally showed it to me and then refused to speak to me about anything and would only talk to the police. I'm pursuing litigations against them and working with the police on this. I could go much further into detail about how negligent and awfully the management of this facility handled the situation. At least 12 units were robbed over the course of MONTHS and they did nothing about it. After my unit was robbed they stuck a temporary lock on it and did not contact me at all, I found out by showing up to get some of my stuff. I was robbed at the end of the month without enough time to cancel my unit, and they still forced me to pay for the next month and said I would be sent to collections if I didn't. The 5 star rating is based on my experience with Toya. The place is clean and secure , my only complaint would be the shorter hours for access , but it hasn't really been a problem for me. I was ready to move to another storage place because the rent increase was more than I felt my unit was worth, but when I came in to let the office know I was moving out , Toya asked me what my reason was for leaving. I told her , and she was able to switch me into a different unit that fit my needs and budget. basically she took the initiative to earn my business once again. If it had not been for her help that day, I would have taken my business somewhere else months ago. Employees that go above and beyond and actually the company by maintaining good. the truth is it's secure an your belongings will be safe, the hours suck completly. i had no choice but to use them as i had an emergency situation. i should be able to access my things later than 6:45pm. people work and get off around that time which leaves no time to get to my storage. the prices absolutely are ridiculous. they dont tell you they increase the rent within 5 to 7 months. for the price paid and the ridiculous hours they should lower the cost. read more
