All of the people that work there are so pleasant so helpful. Shoot, even the bathroom is amazing at the facility along with their little candies that they have available for you I've suffered a traumatic brain injury in the past so businesses that can help me remember things or at least be kind when I have forgotten mean a lot to me. Recently my truck was broken into while I was in Mexico and my purse along with all of my credit cards in my bank card were stolen. This made it impossible for me to pay my storage bill when it came due. I had been on auto pay, but once the cards were killed, that was no longer relevant. Andre went way out of his way to call and remind me that the bill was due, he even let me know how many days I had to work with before a late charge would be assessed once I realize that I wasn't going to be able to use my bank card in time he immediately sent me a form which was super easy to fill out online, allowing my bank account to be linked to my auto pay, and the funds were immediately available so that my items in storage were safe and sound Andre followed up with me to make sure that I had it done if I needed any help he was there for me and just overall compassionate and understanding! They will send you a letter informing you of the increase and say it's for improvements to the storage. I will tell you right now that I have been there for years and NOTHING validates their cost. It's not like they are open 24 hours, 7 days a week plus holidays. It's the bare minimum. If you're lucky, you won't have to search around for a cart to move your stuff. If you're lucky you won't have to wrestle with the elevator to move it all. If you're lucky, you won't have to go there on a summers day and sweat your face off inside your unit. Is there security walking around?, NO. Is parking or moving your items easy to do there, NO. So if you're looking for an over priced storage unit with the bare minimum, this is your place.

I went to pick up a truck that I had a reservation for. I was with a friend and added him as an…read morealternate driver. However, he had license that had expired a few months ago and a paper from DMV showing the renewal. The computer didn't validate his license so I asked to remove him as a driver. Then my whole reservation was rejected and canceled. I was frantic as I needed a truck and had always gone to UHaul, like for over two decades. It turns out that because my friend owed money to UHaul for a rental that was stolen and returned damaged, a rental he had bought insurance for, where there was a dispute over the insurance coverage, a rental that had NOTHING to do with me, they would not let ME rent a truck. I called and spoke to someone who informed me that I would NEVER be able to rent a truck from then until the issue with my friend was resolved. We are not married and never were, we are not and never were boyfriend/girlfriend, and had and have no financial ties whatsoever. It did not matter. THEY REFUSE TO RENT TO ME BECAUSE MY FRIEND OWES THEM MONEY!!! I will be taking legal action against them after I finish this move as no form of discrimination is allowed in the state of California. After that, I WILL NEVER RENT FROM THIS COMPANY WHOSE POLICIES ARE UNFAIR, MOST LIKELY ILLEGAL, AND DISCRIMINATORY ON THE BASIS OF WHO YOU ASSOCIATE WITH. Totally un-American, which I hear is the fashion with some nowadays. If you want to deal with a MAGA company who does not care one bit about loyal customers, have at it. Good luck!

Your stuff gets so dirty and they could care less to take care of their property. We are planning to get out as soon as possible.
