I installed a back up camera back in 2019. Because of my clumsy fingers I did something to select the wrong modality and I could not see from my camera which I knocked off while washing my car. Kent told me to bring my car in and Jared fixed it. They didn't charge me but they said they stand by their products. I am so pleased with the work. I thought because I had this done awhile ago they would not look at it. I was so pleased with Kent and Jared. I can see my back up camera and they repositioned it and Jarred taught me other things about my car I didn't know I had. I highly recommend their service and their products. Went in to have a front/rear dash cam installed and was lucky they had openings and fit me right in. Questioned a staff member about remote starters and I was given most of the scoops on security systems/remote starters. Ended up purchasing that option too and 6 hours later, both were done. Workmanship is spot on and they did a great job installing. My biggest gripe, however, is that I would have certainly liked to know--UPFRONT--that even with a remote start, once I open my car door, the engine will turn off and I will have to start it again. This defeats the purpose of remote starting and I wouldn't have purchased that had I known I would have to start the car twice every time. I only found out as an "oh by the way," once everything was installed. Everything was top notch except for that skipped info. As a consumer, I would appreciate to be informed of that by the experts. read more

I had to run some errands in her car and the noise was driving me crazy! It's about time SOMEONE did something... I sent some inquires through yelp and corresponded back and forth with a few shops. Brent from sound systems was super helpful and offered to check it out that afternoon. (Other shops who shall not be named quoted me prices for a "diagnostic test"). Within minutes he was able to diagnosis the problem (broken speakers). We went back to his office and he quoted me about $200 and told me he could fit me in a few days. Yay!! Went to have them install a car stereo around 3pm and they turned me down because they were leaving even though their business hours say they close at 6. I dont even know his name because he didnt introduce himself asked "why didnt you call?"..and i told them i called around 12:50 pm and showed them my call history and they said oh yeah...."somethings been wrong with our phones lately." He asked to look at what i wanted installed which was a simple single din deck and he said "why dont you install it yourself?". then he quoted me $180 to install...wtf? I understand if you had to leave for an emergency, but atleast explain to a potential paying customer why you had to leave. Not just showing you were irratated or anxious. So i left and called up Car Audio Tech and they set up an appointment with me and quoted me $65 for an install. read more

I got a deck w/reverse camera installed in my Altima about two years ago. The staff and the owner took such great care of everything from turnaround time to making sure i knew exactly what was going on (via text). they informed me that my dashboard was cracked and that they could proceed but let me know that it was already there. it was great how communicative they were. i bought my car from a friend and they had a dashboard cover so i had no idea there was a crack! a couple of months ago (COVID times) when a wire got disconnected for my reverse cam, i took it back in and they took great care of me! i recommend this establishment to anyone who wants to get an after market deck for their car. they'll help out in any way they can! 10/10 will go back read more

When you're a senior citizen driver, sometimes you need a little technology to assist you...So I brought my Dad to see Kent at Security & Sound Systems. We explored options with assistive parking devices such as a rear view camera system or beeping sensors. Kent was super patient with my Dad, showing him camera options and letting him listen to the backup sensors' beeping sounds to be sure he could hear them. He then took a look at my Dad's car, and was more patient while we found the manuals (hiding in a secret compartment) and figured out the password for the existing stereo system. Password? Who knew it even had one??!! It took a while for Kent to do the research to see if the car was able to accommodate a rear-view camera system. Darn, it was one year too old. So we chose the next best option--both back up and front beeping sensors. It didn't sound like that was going to be terribly easy, either, due to there being a trailer hitch on the rear bumper. Never mind, Kent & his guys took care of it. Kent went above & beyond the call of duty when working on Dad's car, too. I might get in trouble if I tell you what he did, but let me just say, best customer service ever!! This time I wanted them to maintain my trucks factory look, but add more volume and tight bass that doesn't shift the molecules in your body every time it hits. Who am I to break this five-star rating? My family has be going Security and Sound Systems for years. You can schedule an appointment for whatever you want installed. However, I feel like you need to put a deposit down for the appointment if I remember correctly. I bought a double-din from Best Buy and had these guys install it for me without a problem. They are also able to install bluetooth systems into your car. Rear view cameras and such are also available. The team is friendly and knowledgeable. I only had a small issue with the parking because I'm almost never sure which spots are theirs. Either way, they let me know and I just move it into the correct spot anyway. My apologies to the residents who live there, though. Think the wait is going to be long? It's possible. I've fallen asleep waiting once. Just go across the street. Grab some lunch. Have you car done while you go to an afternoon karaoke session with your buddies or something. It's all good! Very Good Experience dealing with Security & Sound Systems. I worked with Ken (I believe the business owner) on an install with my JK Wrangler that included my Backup Camera and Headunit install. I was swayed between different brands for my install which Ken provided me with his input on what he prefers and also the pro/cons with each build. He is also a JK Wrangler owner so it was easy dealing with him since he knows what is required in an install. They provided transporation for my via Uber to my house while they were doing the install. Main selling point for me was that he upfront told me the models of Headunits and Backup Cameras that they can install on my JK Wrangler. This allowed me to make a resveration for the install and later deciding on my time which is the best set for my needs. I really hate going to places which pitches you specific models and so through without giving you an open selection which you can price (for your budget) and capabilities (what you want from your vechile) I will definetly coming back to this location for my alarm system which I think I need to upgrade since I have a Soft Top which Ken provided some input on the best security systems for my specific use case. My car is a 2008. It's old but I like it. The radio was giving me trouble so my friend referred me to these guys for a new stereo. I end up with Apple Car Play, connected to my steering wheel controls, a new amp, and the stereo fitting and looking like it came with the car. I get texts read to me, my playlists fill my car from Spotify, and the radio stations are in High Def. Now, with the new electronics, my whole car feels new!
