Our garbage disposal finally "died" on us about a week ago. I am a pretty handy guy and expected to handle this myself as usual. With a new unit in hand I headed for that "never never land" also known as "under the kitchen sink". It quickly became apparent that because of a severely rusted sink hole component retainer, removing the old unit would be problematic at best. After a couple of hours I was able to remove the old disposal but not the rusted retainer which prevented installation of the new unit. Well, challenge accepted. After another hour or so I humbly accepted my defeat and decided to call in reinforcements. Natasha at KB was the first to respond to my Yelp blast for help. We agreed on a time and price amid the cheering of my wife in the background. Well, "Chuey" and assistant showed up as agreed and in masks and booties and took up the mantle. Expecting to be further humbled by a quick installation by these pros, I was vindicated as they too struggled with the rusted retainer. Finally they were successful with a power saw in removing the retainer. Installation of the new unit was quick and efficient. THESE GUYS WERE GREAT!.. Very considerate, friendly and professional. Windster Hoods stopped making the ductless kit for the unit we bought, so we had to make a way for it to vent, before we could mount it. Chuy (Jesus), Huong Nguyen & I ganged up on a design and successfully maneuvered it into submission. After cutting & securing a custom tin wind channel to fit a 4" space, we router-cut louvres into some leftover matching cabinet wood we had. It works & looks great! It blows so much air out the front that it reaches all the way out our patio screen door! We are really happy with the results. Chuy also corrected my make-shift garbage disposal wiring for me. We'll call you guys again to flip our dryer door to open from the other side, and handle some other issues in our new-to-us fixer condo.. & thanks for coming in the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic! Tim was our saving grace!!! We were working with another plumbing company previously that had shut our hot water off and left us hanging for 9 days, so I decided to call KB plumbing. I found them on Google, and thank God I did. When I called KB plumbing, Natasha scheduled me in right away and told me the plumber would be at my place within a few hours. Tim came right away and went directly to our problem, a leak in our hot water pipe. He crawled underneath our house to get to the problem and had fixed our problem within minutes. He was very professional and extremely knowledgeable about our problem and even gave us recommendations to prevent future leaks. KB plumbing is simply the Best! I've used their plumbing services three times now with the last time being the most memorable. I had a major plumbing emergency. An underground pipe burst in my front lawn and water was flowing freely into the street. I called Natasha and told her I needed help! Her team of plumbers were busy another jobs because when you're the best plumbers you're always busy. Regardless, she drove over to my house and FaceTime with one of her plumbers to shut off my main water supply! Talk about going above and beyond the call of duty. By then it was getting dark and pouring rain but she was able to get one of her guys to come over and repair my burst pipe. Recently had a job done to replace P trap and change out the shower head/valve, the tech Corie was spectacular! He was articulate and clear with what he was doing and provided me with all the details on the quote and timing of work. Corie did the installation of the P trap which was easy and smooth. The shower head/valve was supposed to be a few days later but a new tech came out and said that the quote already provided and signed was wrong and would need to double the charge to complete the work. At this point I informed him to leave since I wouldn't change what was already agreed upon. I now have wasted my time and the 2nd tech was late to boot.
