WORST STORAGE PLACE EVER!!! I was there less than a month. George the manager went balistic on me over nothing. He opened the gate when I approached but never looked up or waved me through. I stopped and put in my code (PER PROCEDURE) and the gate closed on me - when I asked him if he would open the gate he copped an attitude, acted all put out and said "Why should I when I already went out of my way and you just sat there?!" - Out of his way? He was standing right there, and I didn't asked him to open the gate for me the first time, that would leave my alarm off, as if I hadn't left. I didn't know what was going on, I thought maybe he needed it to stay open for some reason - he made me put my code in again which turns my alarm off! When I asked him what his name was he screamed "I'M GEORGE, I'M THE MANAGER!!!!" He wasn't acting like a manager, I hadn't met him, my wife handled the initial arrangements. It escalated over nothing into George literally shaking with anger looking like he was going to explode. I said "How am I supposed to know, you've never opened the gate for me before." He screamed "YES I HAVE!!" This was crazy. He must have thought I was somebody else, but I think he forgets that WE PAY HIM! - not the other way around. Every time I went back to clear out my stuff, I got the stare down, like in highschool - Very unprofessional!! The storage isn't that great either, they're older units, there is not a lot of aisle room should there be more than one person there at a time, there is only one gate for in and out, and you have to get out of your car to program your code in on the way out. Aside from how clean and safe the facility appeared to be, the staff was more than courteous and informative. This had to be one of the easiest and least stressful transactions I've ever made. Their rates are affordable and flexible. Even if you're not sure what size unit you're looking for, they'll give you a run-down with scenarios, then take you on a tour to physically see the units that may work best for you. One great option too is that they'll let you make your own decision, no sale pitch involved nor pressure to choose something too large or small that you may not want. I would most definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a facility, whether planned or on short notice. Great customer service, very inviting! The rental place was convenient to me as I was moving from apartments right down the street to a local place and the mileage was so low I basically rented the rental truck for free! Storages and storage grounds are cleaned and monitored by the insure manger. The staff are helpful and are happy to assist with any questions or when your storage lock gets stuck because you don't know how to work your own lock. I highly recommend this locations. Not only do hey have excellent customer service but the prices are reasonable and they provide great incentives to lower your monthly rate. read more

I rented a space here for three years. When I finally lifted the door to see how the material had survived the time, I was quite impressed - everything was just as I had left it, with no damage from the outside environment. Also, the staff here is incredibly helpful, both during my time of initial packing, and on the frenzied move-out days. They keep a clean storage space lot, and are constantly patrolling. As an older woman, I always felt safe there, and cared for. Bill payment on line was also convenient and easy. I've had numerous storage spaces over my lifetime, and this was by far the best. I've been with this storage for years!! I really love it! I know that they currently are in need of a manager and I can't think of anyone else than Paul (the younger Paul) which is also the one who is currently still working there. I happen to be one of the tenents that are by the front office and this guy really knows how to handle multiple things. He is VERY curteous, professional, well groomed and too many things to list. This guy should definately be the next manager of this place. I think you guys should REALLY consider this. I'm sure that I'm not the only tenant that thinks this but many many others!! read more

I love the location, hidden away from the main roads. Very happy with the service on intro and I'm very satisfied with my unit. Unit is very clean and perfect for me. My other storage unit that I had moved my stuff from was not a pleasant one. Had a somewhat scary experience with my last storage location. Very informative personnel and very friendly. It just gives me a safer feeling when I go there as opposed to the other location I moved my things from. So happy its hidden away from the main road where I don't have to worry about having to merge into traffic to leave the location. read more

I left this facility in 6/18 because I found a unit nearby that was more than$50 less and has better hours. I paid my final months rent on line and it went through twice. When I asked about getting a refund,I was told it may take 8 weeks for them to process. Wow. So i went to my bank and they gave me a refund in 1 hour. Then when I went to move my things out of my unit,their moving truck was parked in front of the unit next to mine. I was told it couldnt be moved because the battery was dead and it wouldn't start. I wish I knew about Security Public Storage much sooner. Their rates are much more reasonable than others, as well as provide friendly, efficient service. Even though the office may be closed, there is a professional resident manager, so I know I can be assured that there is surveillance 24/7. Another cool thing is that there's lighting available, so I don't even need to bring my flashlight. Plus, my lot here seems roomier than my previous one at another place, for the same size I requested for. read more

I have never had any issues with Security Public Storage. I like the easy access to my things, and the fact that they work with you to avoid fees if you are ever in a rough time and late on payment. The employees are very nice, knowledgeable, courteous and most of all happy face always . I have rented space at this facility for several years and have never had any type of issue occur where I felt my needs and expectations were compromised, or ill at-ease at the security of my property. From time to time later weekday evening hours would be super convenient as they are much closer to bank hours. I seldom need to access the facility so its no deal-breaker but the option of access late in the evening is at times preferable to time allotted on the weekend. read more

Very happy with this storage location and service. Staff is very professional. I've had my stuff here for a few months now and have no complaints. Compared to where my stuff was previously, where I didnt feel so secure about my things being in a safe place, SPS gives me a sense of security about my things being in a good secure place. Left Security Public storage 2013 just to return back to rent a facility 2014. Found myself regretting leaving to rent with Public Storage because the services was no comparison. Security Public storage facilities is much cleaner and I havent had any experience with bugs, ants or spiders with my belongings like I did with Public Storage. And the new management is great! We used this facility for over 6 months when we were moving between homes and felt the service and experience to be top-knotch. The staff was extremely helpful and kind, the facility clean and easy to get to, and we always felt our belongings were safe. I have been using Security Public Storage since 2000. I am extremely satisfied with the storage facility and it's security. Paul has helped me immensely and is very easy to deal with. I've used other company storage facilites in the past but highly recommend Security Public Storage over the others. definitely would recommend SPS to anyone . i've never had an issue here ! there's always some sort of deal going on which will bring the cost of your storage fees down . 10 day grace period if you're late on payments and they even give you a courtesy call before your 11th day so you won't be billed a late fee ! my dad has been using them for a couple years now and i've been here for about a year . read more
