    Seafood Lover Omelet
    Jay C.

We were very pleased with the food. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and breakfast is served all day. I highly recommend the catfish topped with crawfish sauce; it was fried to perfection. The seafood omelette was also excellent, filled with plenty of seafood. The service was exceptional; our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable. The only area that needs improvement is the selection of alcoholic beverages, as there were very few options available. Overall, the ambiance is pleasant and inviting.

Great breakfast , brunch, and lunch spot. Joined some church family here one Sunday and enjoyed some great breakfast. I had been in the mood for pancakes, and these definitely hit the spot. I enjoyed pancakes, brown sausage, eggs, and grit, my favorite breakfast. I was full after eating half of my pancakes but they made for a nice breakfast the next day. Our waitress was awesome, I hate I don't recall her name, taking care of our party of ten. Looking at the outside, you would not image the space there is inside the building. A great place for small and large parties, this is definitely a great place for breakfast a brunch. Located in Slidell, there is plenty on the menu, to satisfy everyone's taste. The omelettes and breakfast quesadillas were a huge hit with our party. I will definitely return for the pancakes and to try other menu items.

Veggie omelette, whole eggs instead of egg whites

I'm not really a breakfast person, and consider brunch to be only nominally better. That said, I liked Sedra's. The breakfast/brunch selection seemed solid, and they had regular lunch options too. I was actually in the mood for an omelette, and they accommodated my request for it to be made with whole eggs instead of just the egg whites it was described as having. It was tasty and a pretty generous size. Ambiance is pretty nice. I just wore blue jeans because I wasn't sure what to expect, but they had white cloth tablecloths, so you could dress up a bit - not that you have too - and not feel out of place.

We fell in love on our first visit. Inside is very clean and eye pleasing. The taste was awesome the portions large. Food was really good. On the way out we asked to meet the owner who seem to be a genuinely nice person. We didn't get the owners name, but the restaurant is named for her daughter, who was also there working. Truly the best in locally owned, family run, and a very positive experience for our out of town travels, and quest to find hidden gems.

So thanks to Yelp-I jumped off I-10 coming home from New Orleans on Easter Sunday - and tried this little place out. My brunch was simply to die for. I can't begin to explain how the sweet and salty complimented each other. The coffee was very much needed due to grumpiness from lack of any for the morning. Our servers made us feel comfortable due to not being dressed in Easter attire. We did apologize and they continued to make us feel comfortable and wanted. The seating was spaced nicely - noise level was enjoyable. Could easily carry a conversation without straining. Would definitely come back.

First night was with a group, but had to go back and try more. The service is great. Everyone is friendly and makes you feel like family. The owner is involved in the serving, working the floor and mingling with the customers. The food is delicious. I had the breakfast Quesadilla and my husbad the seafood omelet. We sat with some friends and one of them had the catfish dish (forgot the name of it). The other friend had like a shrimp pasta (no pix) Everyone was very satisfied with their food today. I also tried the cappuccino and learned that they have their own coffee blend. The restaurant was clean and bright. Restroom was clean. Definitely a place to try!!!

I came across this place on Yelp & decided to give it a try! I'm glad I made that decision! There was no one seated when I walked in but they came trickling in after a bit. The service was great! The menu has a good bit so it was hard deciding on what to order. I started with Lavender Latte. It was good but not sweet. The Crepe Sedra was amazing! The fruit crepes were delicious as well! I cannot wait to be back to try more.

A quick peak at the reviews and it sounds like Michael makes a mean cup of joe! The outside is unsuspecting, but plenty of parking. On the inside, super huge and plenty of space for individuals, couples, and groups! There's even a little kid/game corner across from the bar. The vibes are clean and casual, with a hint of locals and cozy. A very nice to space to catch up or to get some work done (although I didn't notice too many outlets to charge). The menu was simple but they also had some seasonal specials. The coffee and espresso weren't dark roast, so it didn't carry that bitterness which I liked. Honestly, it sounds like you can't go wrong with any of the menu options that they offer. I also picked up a breakfast sandwich, which could of be heated a little better. The center of it was still a bit cold, but way better than frozen. It did look like they prepare their breakfast sandwiches in house and then freeze - so kudos to that! They also sell some trinkets and other goods that you can pick up as gifts! If I'm ever in town again, definitely a stop for me. Every city can use a great local coffee shop and Sirincci is it for Slidell!

Ten, ten, ten across the board!!!!!!!…read more So I was passing through Slidell and asked a friend if he knew a good coffee spot that wasn't [insert coffee shop, you know the one]. And in that moment I was reminded why I rarely ask for recommendations because my taste runs a little too refined for most. Nevertheless I turned to Maps and typed in "coffee," and the first option was an immediate no. But the second one, the name alone, told me everything I needed to know. The only problem, it was the opposite direction I was headed and I was already running late. But I couldn't ignore that instinct. I had to see for myself. "Sorry boss, can't come in today. I was on my way to work and then a gentle fall breeze blew me in the direction of my destiny and reminded me it is a serious thing just to be alive on this fresh morning in this broken world!" Anywho, I'm so happy I stopped. The moment I walked in it felt like home, not in the corny sitcom way, but in that deeper unexpected kind of way. Like walking into a crowded room full of strangers and then seeing your homegirl that instantly makes you feel like yourself again and suddenly the day is yours. Mind you I hadn't even ordered at this point, but that's how good just walking inside made me feel. i felt like a mom that has been saying "you not getting that" all year then christmas day be grinning when baby open that present they been wanting!! Then there's the coffee, I'm still sipping my Beehive Latte now and it's fabulous. And I don't say fabulous often. I was going to go with a vanilla latte but since I sort of felt like I was in Adam and Eve's garden I wanted to try something new. The owner recommended the Crème Brûlée Latte but his wife overheard me going back and forth in my head (out loud) and suggested the Beehive since I like my coffee sweet but not overwhelming. This latte is perfect, pure perfection. I grabbed a chocolate croissant too because they looked delicious and they absolutely delivered. Flaky, golden and brown and no I'm not describing myself. The pastries all looked heavenly. Everything was perfect. Sure, I'm having an exceptionally good day already, maybe because of the weather, maybe because it's Friday, or maybe because I'm an attractive single 6'3 male and ready for eligible suitors. Either way, the service, their smiles, the coffee, the plants, everything was otherworldly. I'd go out of my way to come back. Wanna come with?

I buy extra when I can because of the minus side... It is almost impossible to get in here! I don't mind queuing up to wait at a restaurant, but every time I try to go they are lined up out the door. I have tried to go at off-times and it's still busy. Being so busy, the experience at the counter always feels rushed and there is nowhere to sit, so I never stick around once I have my bagels. I realize it's a good problem for a restaurant to have, but it still makes me want to go elsewhere. Most times I do. The bagels are a definite 5+ stars. The overall experience is 2 stars at best. Splitting the difference and giving them 3. I keep going back (well, trying to, at least) because the bagels are that good. Your results may vary. They were all hustling. Nobody was standing around. Consequently the line moved quickly and I got my tea faster than I expected. That's a plus, I suppose. They earned their gratuity. I don't know if they are redecorating or not, but the decor is very stark and the atmosphere is not inviting. No artworks on the walls, paint color is neutral and boring, no music playing. Hard surfaces and high ceiling makes it echo-y and the constant noise from the drive-thru adds to the din. Simply not a place I want to stay and hang around. This location does a TON of drive-thru business so maybe that's the idea - play to your audience. There is free wi-fi and hard tables and chairs to sit, but no stuffed couches or anything cushy. The parking lot at this location is poorly designed, so when the drive-thru line gets long it blocks all the parking spaces in front of the door, including the handicapped spaces. The alternative is to park on the drive-thru side of the building, but then you have to cut between the cars waiting in line and walk around the building. Not user-friendly in the best of circumstances, and if it's raining I'll go elsewhere. It's the closest one to my house and it's not ALWAYS lined up around the building so I keep going back.
