New location! So happy! I love Hallmark!! But I'm actually required to come here because my mom is still traditional and wants real holiday cards. Not digital. I tried taking a picture and sending it but apparently it's not acceptable. ;/ So I come here during the holidays but decided to come here on early November because the Christmas cards tend to run out so fast!! Lots of parking here and they just opened a Dunkin here !! I reward myself with iced coffee when I come here lol The little ole ladies here are super nice. I'm going to continue to come here and support the store. :) I don't typically buy anything besides cards but I saw some baseball ornaments and decided buy one since the Dodgers won the World Series!! The customer service was absolutely horrible. My friend and I went in looking for some dumplings and the lady was nice at first, but then when I asked if they had a sample of one of the dumplings, she said they don't have any with the worst attitude. Then, someone called the store and asked if the dumplings were retail price, which is $5. The lady told them that they were retail price, but that was not true at all as they sold for $15-$30 each. She was also watching me and my friend shop the whole time, which was a little weird and was nice to another lady, but not us. The worst part of this experience was that I spent $15 on one big dumpling, but when I opened it up it had 3 little ones inside and one was broken. That was not what I paid for and now i'm realizing why they didn't have the sample for it. Will definitely not be returning to this location ever again! Do not buy any squishies from them!! Especially the dumplings!!! read more

I placed an online order this morning for an in-stock item for store pickup and paid through PayPal. I immediately received an order confirmation with a confirmation number and was told to wait for a second email when my order was ready. After waiting over an hour with no update, I called the store and spoke with the manager. She assured me that since I had a confirmation number, I would be receiving the pickup email shortly. Another hour later, instead of a pickup notification, I received an email stating my order had been canceled and my payment was being refunded. This was a very frustrating experience. The website showed the item as in stock, and the manager confirmed everything appeared to be fine, only for the order to be canceled without explanation. The poor communication and misleading inventory information wasted my time. Based on this experience, I would not recommend doing business with this store until they improve their inventory accuracy and customer service. read more

I have been waiting for this store to be finished and then I saw some sort of opening. This location is in a hotel drive next to a Taco Bell. I talked my friend into accompanying me and was so excited to stop in! I love Hallmark stores! They have a lot of great deals on so many gift items. This occasion was celebrating their ornament drop for the 2025 holiday season. There were lots of other items available, gifts for pet lovers, some clothing, mugs, champagne and wine glasses, ornaments, cards, gift wrap, Peanuts items, Nightmare Before Christmas and so much more! I like this location more because it's much bigger and they have an assortment of Pandora Charms now. The ladies working there were nice and helpful to my husband and I on our last visit. Wow!!! This Hallmark shop is tucked in behind Taco Bell next to the upcoming La Quinta. I wasn't sure what to expect because it seemed like maybe Hallmark stores may be a thing of the past.... I thought completely wrong!! So many collectibles, gift items, fun in every spot you can find!! Bought some adorable wrapping paper for only $4.99 per roll. There is a Pandora inside as well. There were 2 ladies working on my first visit, both were all smiles and interested in small conversation with me. One of them, Jacki, has been there on both visits and was so bubbly and energetic! Helped me find just what I was looking for. They must value their customers and/or just enjoy being festive because on a drive-by, I saw they had a live band playing outside playing Christmas music. So great! Made me smile. Glad that my initial thought of a not-needed store was squashed! This is a great place!! Go visit! read more

I was redirected to this store by mistake when placing an online wishlist order. My experiences at other Hallmark locations have been positive, but this particular store has been consistently disappointing. On both visits, the staff were rude and dismissive. Within 24 hours of placing my order, they refused to transfer it to my preferred location, forcing me to make a long drive. When I arrived, the staff were not easy to interact with and provided poor customer service. During my second visit, they refused to honor all of my earned discounts and rewards, enforcing their own "two per person" limit--something not practiced at corporate or other independent Hallmark stores. When I questioned this, they said they didn't have to post the policy because they're an independent store and simply "tell customers" at checkout. I only learned this after my items had been scanned. When I raised concerns about the lack of posted policies and the timing of their disclosure, I was told I could "just return" my items. I had spent over $200 that day and more than $300 on my first visit. While the rewards aren't large, they are earned--and customers deserve transparency. I also witnessed another customer disputing the same issue with rewards during my visit, suggesting this is not an isolated incident. These types of undisclosed and inconsistent business practices are not just unethical--they are a violation of consumer protection laws that require transparency and fairness in pricing and policies. With their prices already rising, this lack of respect for customers is unacceptable. For a better experience, I strongly recommend visiting a different location. read more

And, when I asked for help because I was also looking for a particular item, they pretty much said I was lying and were dismissive. Growing up before the iPhone era, Hallmark was always my go-to place to spend the weekends. I was so happy to see a Hallmark tucked inside the Kaiser plaza while driving down Imperial Hwy! This Hallmark is my childhood memory and so much more!!! Wow, there are so many items neatly displayed in the large, bright, clean store. I was immediately greeted with warm welcomes. So many great gift ideas! I went in just to check out the store and came out with bags of gifts for family and friends, which were all well-received! The best part is some of their items are even cheaper than Amazon, and you get to check for any flaws (which, of course, there are none in this Hallmark) before purchasing. read more

Every year our family Chirtsmas tradition is to buy a holiday ornament. Over the years, it's grown to where each of the 6 of us, 4 kids and mom and dad, each get a special ornament that means something special to us. Buying a Hallmark ornament is a given and Joy's Hallmark is on our regular list. Sure, we used to go to the Ace Hardware in Fullerton for years to get our ornaments, but they lost their Gold Crown status. Sticking with a REAL Hallmark store is the best way to go and Joy's can't be beat. This new location has a dedicated parking lot and it's much easier to navigate than the old location by Walmart. It's light and bright with a huge selection of greeting cards, seasonal decorations, and all things Hallmark. The staff is super attentive and polite and nice. You feel welcomed right away, as if you're visiting a friend's house rather than a store. And in the Hallmark tradition, isn't that what it's all about? read more

Our experience at Joy's Hallmark was dreadful. The woman behind the counter was extremely rude. She was yelling at customers, including us. The manager Jackie, was very condescending. Instead of pulling the salesperson aside and discussing the situation, she was rude to us. I have been going to that Hallmark store for years and always found it to be a pleasant experience. Change your Attitude I went in looking for an ornament. I found it and it was the last one but the box looked like it had been opened. I attempted to open it to make sure it wasn't broken and the owner /manager tapped me on the shoulder and said " excuse me, I want you to read this" with attitude pointed to a paper on the shelf that asked customers not to open the boxes. I honestly didn't see it because I was just focused on finding the one I wanted and wasn't looking at the top of the shelf. I completely understand why they have the rule but felt she could've maybe said it a little nicer. I bit my tongue and was polite and apologized and bought it anyways bc it was the last one and I had no time to find another hallmark. I will definitely drive to Whittier or Lakewood mall to get any ornaments from now on. read more

I was super excited to find out that there was a Hallmark in La Habra. So I decided to drive over there today and I walked through the door and I was not greeted but not surprised although disappointed because every person that walks through gets a "Hello" how are you? This Hallmark has ridiculous hours. I've never been able to shop more than 10 minutes because I have a JOB and can't be strolling around gift shops at 11am every day. 4:30pm on a weekend day???? Weekdays they open after work starts for most people and close before you're barely home - 6pm! And don't check me with the posted hours from Google, every time I've been in I checked those hours first and then was told in the store that they're "closing now, oh sorry we'll get those updated." Seriously? I checked their hours at 4:00 today and it said they close at 5. I get there around 4:20, and before I've even made it to the ornament wall they're closed. 4:30pm. WTF. I can't even rate the actual selection or service because I've never been able to shop. So guess now I have to order some cheap made-in-china gift from Amazon instead of patronizing a local seller that I'm sure is more deserving of my money. Can't complain about Amazon and Temu if you can't even be bothered to stay open when people are actually out shopping. read more
