The holiday season is officially here -- which means it's time to hit up See's Candies! From Halloween treats to upcoming hostess gifts, See's got me covered. I'm happy to see this location so I don't have to drive across town to Fullerton. This shop is small but feels spacious and still radiates that bright, black and white cleanness ambiance. I always seem to feel like a kid again when I see the checkerboard flooring. The lady here is nice -- not a lot of traffic foot traffic so in and out within 5-minute of snooping. However, check out this adorable treat bag -- not sure if I bought because I need it or I wanted more chocolates. Love this See's Candies, it's easy to find parking and there are usually several friendly workers here who come correct with the chocolate samples haha. We stocked up on Christmas and assorted chocolate boxes here for gifts. It's well stocked and we also liked how they sold special holiday bags which we included for our gifts. read more

Love See's candy. Been eating this stuff since I was kid growing up in the Bay Area. When I lived in Arizona, I would always grab a sample at the Chandler mall. I am a sucker for the dark nut chew. On this occasion, I grabbed (4) Dark Nut Chew bars and a caramel apple lollipop. I like to cut the nut chew bars up and freeze pieces. So good. I regret not getting more but the prices are significantly higher than the last time I purchased. Thankful that I got try a chocolate sample from See's and grab my favorites. What is Christmas without a stop by See's Candies? This was my first time to this location conveniently located in the same shopping center as Sprouts and Target. There is plenty of parking and I was greeted right when I entered. There was no line if you weren't custom ordering anything. I grabbed my one pound box of assorted chocolates and was heading out within only a few minutes. Of course, not before a nice woman presented me with a big box of candies to select a free sample from. There was milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and white chocolate to choose from. I picked the white chocolate which was apple pie with a dash of cinnamon and it was delicious. This is a great location to visit if you want to avoid the Brea mall during the holidays. read more

While I'm not a big fan of sees candy, my family and girlfriend are. Stopped in to pick up some sweet treats for mother's day. Good selection, very short wait, and cheerful service from the counter staff. Prices are high, but that's to be expected at sees candy in my experience. read more

I need no excuse to buy See's Candies, it's my all-time favorite chocolate and the sight of its black and white checkers makes me instantly smile. This particular location though has the most wonderful staff and I'd go out of my way to come back. I wandered in amidst a crowd of holiday shoppers and joked to the cashier that I felt like a grinch because I wasn't there buying gifts for others - just buying chocolate for myself after a hard week. She smiled sympathetically and offered me a hug and piece of chocolate (both of which I happily took!), then told me she'd been there and it would get better. It was such a kind and sincere gesture! Can never have enough See's! See's has always been one of my favorite chocolate shops, and I especially enjoy coming to this location in Yorba Linda specifically. I've found the staff to be consistently friendly and today was no exception. The cashier asked if I wanted milk or dark chocolate and helped me to a free sample of a dark chocolate raspberry truffle which was delicious. Upon completing my payment, she even threw in another free sample which definitely made my day (oh the simple joys in life)! While they offer pre-packaged boxes of chocolates in various sizes, I personally like going to the candy counter to pick out my favorites. My go-to flavors at the candy counter are always the Dark Chocolate Bordeaux, Dark Chocolate Chip Truffle and Cafe Au Lait Truffle! Clearly I'm a dark chocolate lover :) read more

I really like this See's location. Located in a shopping center off of Yorba Linda Blvd. in in Y.L., this See's is so convenient. I came her recently to buy some boxes of candy for some friends. An employee offered me samples right away and helped with my selection. I found what I needed right away. This location is convenient, and the parking is great. I love this see's candies! It's small but has a lot inside! My favorites are the toffee-ettes ! If you haven't tried it I highly recommend it! They even had a cute St. Patrick's day section (which you can check out in the pictures I posted) The customer service is wonderful. Elias helped us and gave us free samples as soon as we walked in. A standalone See's? Yes indeed! Initially I was a bit put off by some of the employees here, but more recently, I've encountered some of the nicest employees. One was so quick to offer me and my family a bunch of different samples as soon as we walked in, which was exactly the kind of service I would hope for at such a sweet place! On a few other occasions, various employees have been kind enough to point out some of the seasonal offerings or new items. Because this location is standalone, parking is a breeze and checkout seems way faster than your average mall location - probably because less people linger in and out here. Yippee! In terms of quality and taste, no other chocolate simply compares - and that's why I'll forever be a devoted See's fan! Everyone knows See's candy is the best. Before Rocky Mountain Chocolate company, before Godiva was everywhere, See's dominated the Los Angeles area candy scene. With their clean, black & white checked flooring, smart uniforms, friendly smile, and free sample, See's has always been great. This store stands out for it's staff. I've only been here a few times, but every time I visit the staff is so exuberantly friendly and welcoming that it doesn't feel like you're visiting a confectionery retailer, but rather a happy, favorite aunt. The store is a little on the small size (many See's stores are), and is tucked a bit out of the way, but parking is ample, and the rumor is, that if you're *really* nice, they might just let you have TWO samples to taste. You can't go wrong with See's Candy to begin with - the butterscotch squares are soooooooooo dreamy!! I've called in to place orders over the phone with Jannel, and she is so incredibly friendly. She made the phone order process so easy and had such a great attitude, which is hard to find over the phone at a lot of places. I really appreciate her great customer service!! In fact, I've had great experiences with most every sales associate at this location. I must admit that Sees' is my go to chocolatier. I recently purchased pound of milk chocolate creams. There were 21 pieces in my pound purchase. So if you figure $26 a pound plus tax, that is more than $1 per piece. That is crazy to spend so much. I am disappointed and that I will not be going back to purchase any more candies. This is a really cute and clean shop. It's about the same size as the See's at Orange Village. I grabbed 4 lbs of chocolates as a gift for my relative. The clerk was very courteous. Easy in and out of the parking lot, I would come to this store rather going to the mall. read more
