The staff members working here are super friendly and welcoming, genuinely happy to help customers. I particularly liked speaking to Deborah, and she's so kind and helpful with choosing the sweets. I'll definitely like buying more from this See's Candies store.

We love love love this See's Candies. it is located almost at the end of a little mall, called the Manhattan Village Mall. The entire area outside is spotless. The interior is so clean it all looks brand new. Once you are in they have the very best selection of chocolates, caramels and nuts. They are famous for their caramel lollipops. They are ready for Halloween at the moment, but soon they will have all the holiday items on display. You can buy one piece of candy or a box and those come in one pound, two pound and I think 5 pound boxes. They are great as gifts and the boxes all have white wrapping on them. Their main counter has a huge display of individual chocolates. You can even hand pick a box with your favorite kind and also pick dark chocolate or milk cholate. It is all great. What we really love about this location is the service. All Covid measures are in place so it is a safe place to go. The staff is so patient and kind. My grandson spent 20 minutes to pick out the box that he thought was best for him--they have all creams, mixed, nuts and chews and toffee. You decide. He went with nuts and chews and boy are they good. The staff waited for him and gave him a free candy before he left. How sweet. I have never seen a cleaner store. I think because of just getting out of Covid, it is still a little slow there so go. You can order on line, but go there. Have a great time.

While I've been here a few times this is my first formal review. I came with my family one Sunday evening on a hot July day, bypassing several chains on the way, including the new(er) Salt and Straw across the street. The inside is packed to the brim with sweets, small toys, and people, much like a candy shop of old. After reaching the front of the winding line our family shared a Banana Split ($13) - three scoops of ice cream, a split banana, hot fudge, a single dry topping (we chose coconut), whipped cream, and a trio of cherries - about as classic as it comes. The ice cream was good but not exceptional. The chocolate and strawberry were fairly generic, but I liked the third scoop of banana foster ice cream which had a nice banana kick. I doubt this ice cream is home made. The complements and construction to the sundae were great, however, and the flavors came together well. As I would hope for a location like this, the staff are local youths who served with patience and passion. In cases throughout the store are several of their other specialties - ice cream cookie sandwiches, dipped frozen bananas, and more - inviting repeat visits. Prices are elevated but not crazy for such a trendy area, although I would say with the middling quality of the ice cream a couple dollars less would be fine. Overall, Manhattan Beach Creamery is a local landmark worth at least a single visit for anyone in the area. If you can get past the generic, if a little boring, ice cream flavor and rampant commodification of the interior, you'll find a classic ice cream parlor with great service and history. Is it worth a repeat visit? I leave that to you. Food: 4/5 Service: 4.5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Value: 4/5

You can see the actual bird of strawberries in the ice cream scoop. And their scoops aren't tiny -- they are the full, overflowing scoop of ice cream. The staff is helpful and friendly. You can try some flavors before you decide what you want to get. Today, the inside was decorated for the World Cup 2026 fans, and there definitely were some global visitors, judging by the languages I overheard in the line while waiting for my turn.

Everything is beautifully displayed, the store is spotless, and the layout makes it so easy (and dangerous ) to browse because you'll want to take home everything. My absolute favorite? The Champagne Gummies! They are sweet, soft, and so delicious. They're definitely the kind of candy you buy "just to try" and then immediately wish you had grabbed a second box. But let's be honest... every candy I sampled was amazing! The employees were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and happy to answer questions, making the whole experience even sweeter. Great customer service always makes shopping more enjoyable, and this team definitely delivered. If you're looking for a fun gift, a sweet treat for yourself, or just want to feel like a kid in the fanciest candy store ever, Sugarfina is a must-visit. Just don't blame me when you leave with a bag full of goodies instead of the one item you planned on buying!

I like the gummy bears sweet-and-sour ones. I like that my purchases accumulate points that I can use later. Anyway, it would be nice to have consistent good customer service.

All the servers were warm and beyond the usual helpfulness. My friend saw an empty table they needed to be wiped so she asked a server for a towel to wipe it. He immediately said, "No, I'll do it." And he grabbed a towel and wiped in extra well with a smile. Two of us ordered the Buddha vegan bowl (9/10; quinoa was fluffy, tofu was tasty but a little firm for me, everything else about it was fresh and well-done. The mushroom serving was my favorite part.) My friend ordered the Beef Macro bowl (9/10: beef was the best part and everything else was good. The wild rice was tender; but it tastes "healthy"). My last friend ordered the salmon bowl (9/10: all of us raved about the salmon. Had the same wild rice. I liked it but my friend said it was too soft for her. The rest of the items that came with it were similar and tasty). Before I left, Molly helped me order a mushroom reishi hot chocolate drink. Molly was so sweet and helpful. She recommended the homemade almond milk. (8/10). The ambiance was warm and cozy. I loved the multi-level structure. Therefore, the name, "The Hive". Cute design and a good place to bring a computer and have a quiet spot to chill.
