To pick one up you can put one down they are so good and the ingredients that See's use is all natural and for those that would like to find the Kosher is all See's Products they are Kosher. The one location that has been a great favorite of mine the many times that I traveled to the Loma Portal Area it's been the large shopping mall where you find the Big5 Sporting Goods and the Big Lots store you will see at the end the Sees store with the many displays and the colorful displays and with Thanksgiving coming. Some of the best chocolates and the Holiday Chocolates are the best from See's. From the orders I have purchased and sent to my friends and picked the mixed boxes the ones they can share with others and with the family. Going to the See's Chocolate Retail Outlet is one of the best and it touches your heart when you have the nice ladies help you out with your orders. The store does close early before the 600pm. I visited your store in the Sports Arena area on Rosecrans St today to purchase some treats for the staff at my job and Jamela was the customer service employee that was working there. I came in to the shop pretty much knowing exactly what I wanted. As I was shopping for my items I heard Jamela having very pleasant interactions with all of the other customers during their check out and that was a really awesome tone for the whole store. When it came time for me to pay for my purchase Jamela was also exceptionally happy and enthusiastic during my check out. I had just left work and she noticed my employee badge that i was still wearing and asked if I had an account on file. I wasn't aware of my employer having an account but she did the research and found out that my purchase was eligible for a discount. Regardless of the unexpected discount, it was a pleasure to interact with Jamelah. She was so lively and happy and genuinely fun to interact with. I went to this See's location over the weekend to redeem a gift card. I was surprised to see how huge it was inside! It looked so quiet outside and there was so much parking in their lot but when I walked in - there was a line of people waiting. There were a few ladies working, two of which were assisting the customers. Even with a line - I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. We were here about a week before Xmas to buy chocolate. . . .only 12 people allowed inside at a time, due to covid restrictions, with a door monitor letting people in and out, with masks and social distancing. We selected the ones at the counter where you pay by the pound as well as took a box of nuts & chews. This time, See's had a second line to pay -- one for people who weren't self selecting the chocolates like in "I Love Lucy" episode. Tip: You can buy $50 worth of See's Candies at Costco for only $40, but See's will not let you combine discounts. So if you are a teacher, you can get a 10% discount with id, but only on the pre-boxed, pre-wrapped chocolates, and cannot also use your gift cards. You get pre-wrapped chocolates to take home with your purchase (instead of eating them as individual samples like before. read more

Update: I received a message from an account named Julia personally attacking me for writing this review. Calling me dramatic and saying I shouldn't expect people in customer service positions to be nice. Customer service is meant for you to be professional. If I'm being polite, there's absolutely no reason to be rude, this message from "Julia" was just as aggressive and rude. This location must hire very unprofessional people. The message I received from "Julia" was incoherent and hostile, absolutely unacceptable behavior especially in a customer service workplace. I changed my rating to a one star and will definitely never do business with them again. I've done several fundraisers for my school through See's with this store and this last fundraiser has definitely helped me decide to find alternative companies for fundraising for future events. I went to pick up my fundraising order on Tuesday, and the rudest woman I've ever met in a customer service position helped me. I believe her name was Shytiana, while helping me she aggressively ordered people standing in line behind me to go stand in the other line. I got my order and trusted the man who was telling me how many boxes of what was in each box. When I took everything home and began sorting all of the orders I realized I was a box short of nuts and chews. I decided to call See's to see if I could somehow get the box. Shytiana answered and in the most rude tone said, "Oh I remember you" "Didn't you count all the candy and agree it was the correct amount?" No Shytiana, I did not count 500 boxes of chocolates on a hot day to make sure they were all there, I assumed what the man said was in the boxes was actually in the boxes. Long story short she yelled at me that I signed a paper agreeing that I had the right amount of chocolates. I had this call on speaker phone and everyone listening was shocked at the tone and hostility of this employee. No offense but See's gets a huge chunk of our fundraisers and my school has done so many fundraisers with them that I really don't need attitude and condescending aggressive tones when I'm calling and politely trying to resolve a small matter. One box of chocolates. I had to go back and buy the one box full price with my own money. I will never go to this location again with employees as rude and unnecessarily aggressive as this woman and I am now finding other companies for fundraising options in the future. They have a discount program and if you work for a major company in SD, or the city, or the military etc, they give you a discount. Its a pretty sweet one too. Example....at the mall or airport or wherever, a box of their candy bars is like $8.50. With the discount at this store its only $6.50. You simply cannot beat Sees little candy bars. I got a box of the Awesome nut and chew bars, and a box of the Awesome peanut brittle bars. You heard that right.....they put the word "Awesome" on the box. You know why???? Because they ARE AWESOME! Little pieces of heaven. The peanut brittle bars are exactly like they sound. A little rectangle of peanut brittle drenched in milk chocolate. The awesome nut and chew bars are tasty nougat and almonds drenched in dark chocolate. You cant go wrong with either choice. I used to only eat Sees at my moms house/relatives house around the holidays. A box of Sees Candy was always a welcome site on the table. Now that I know about this place, it may become a regular part of my everyday life. Not good for the weight and health, but absolutely neccesary and vital for happiness and my taste buds! Unlike Julia, I grew up with See's all around. Its the classic boxed chocolate to give to clients and friends during the holidays. Their chocolate is good, but the quality still is a notch below Godiva. See's definately does do a good job when I'm having a chocolate craving. Companies can get a discount card if they order 500lbs of chocolate in a year. If you show the discount card at the Rosecrans store, everything is sooo much cheaper. I have a couple of them left for this year. Message me if you want one! Also, Costco carries See's 1lb gift certificates in packs of two.
