Wow! Thank you Edible Arrangements, especially for Jason! I live in Dallas, Texas and my dear Friend lives in San Diego. I have ordered from this location several times and EVERY time the delivery has been great including the ordering process, which Jason makes easy. After wasting 25 minutes and driving in traffic, they wouldn't give it to us when we got there because they couldn't find her phone number even though she had the app. The person working (pretty sure it was the owner or manager) there was super unhelpful and basically told us tough luck. Mother tried to send me an arrangement for my birthday. Delivery person and subsequent employee who my mother spoke with was named Jason. Although someone was home at the time of delivery, they claimed that no one was home at the time. The only remaining options were that would "redeliver" for $19.99, or that it must be picked up. Cameras at my home show that no one attempted to make a delivery during the time frame they claimed to make a delivery. Subsequently following up, Jason claimed we lived in a gated community (we do not). Everything indicates that there was no delivery attempt, and they are lying about the circumstances surrounding it. This clearly establishes that this store is not beyond lying to both their overseeing corporation (marked the item as delivered) and customers. read more

6/18 I ordered fruit to get sent to my friend. She unfortunately was not home to receive. The thoughtful driver called me to inform. I was given options, one being to call the store-- which I did. I was told that they will not leave the fruit out because weather/spoilage. I was told I can pick it up or they'd deliver next day, for an additional fee. I tried to see if they could deliver hers last, or as close to 5 pm as possible. The employee told me they close at 3:30 pm and I have to try the next day. The website states they close at 5 pm? Why are the employees lying about the hours of operation? Only lazy people do that. 6/19 I call. I ask if the delivery fee can be waived. The man "manage/owner" said it cannot be waived. $15. Since I was Father's Day weekend the fee went up to $20, but I guess I was lucky to just pay $15 for the delivery fee instead. I asked why the fee was $10 like I paid online. I was told that the fees change depending on type of order submission. I asked how the delivery works, as it was my first time ordering with edible arrangements, because I didn't want a repeat of the previous day. I wanted to request a time and that isn't a possibility-- per the website as the manager told me. Ok. Understood. Is there a time frame at least? He told me between 12-5 pm it would be delivered. I mentioned to this manager that I asked if the delivery can occur at 5 pm yesterday and was told by an employee that the store closes at 3:30 pm and this wasn't possible. His reply, the deliveries end between 3:30 pm and 4 pm. I asked for clarification because he just told me delivery will be between 12 pm - 5 pm? (He also confirmed the store closes at 5 pm) Anyway, My friend was unable to receive the arrangements. She was unavailable. And just decided to drive to the location to PICK UP her arrangements that were PAID ($25) to be DELIVERED. She was texted at 11:21 am that her order would be arriving in 10 minutes. They did not give her a 1-2 hour heads up for her delivery. My friend had to call the store, where the MANAGER told her that the purchaser (me) was being difficult. I AM PAYING FOR GOODS/SERVICE (that are not even good). I DESERVE TO KNOW THE OUTCOME OF WHAT IM PAYING FOR. I DESERVE TO ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT THE PRODUCT I AM FUNDING. There are a lot of rude people out there, but I remained respectful with the employees of the store (as with any store I shop with). So to hear that I was being difficult for asking questions is a big disappointment and shows the lack of customer service skills by the own manager/owner of this store. Now as for quality, My friend told me the fruits were delicious. But the cookies were not fresh and were hard. I was told that everything would be fresh. When I called the store and spoke to the manager she already knew their arrangements don't look like the online picture and said "we do the best we can and laugh at one another. This review is way overdue however my story starts on Friday night the weekend of Valentines Day 2021 (keep in mind it's my first time EVER buying an edible arrangement) I got off work Friday night and went straight to the Edible Arrangements located in La Mesa. I wanted to see the different options of arrangements and purchase one for my wife and daughters for Sunday V-Day. I arrived there approximately 1820hrs and the closing time on the window and on Google stated 1900. So I had at least 30 mins to purchase my arrangement. Unfortunately the front door was closed and locked even though I could see staff inside they didn't pay attention to me. I called the business because there was a sign that read (if your here for pick up call this number and we will open the door for you). The unknown Female that answered told me to come back the next day to place my order even though I advised her that I was already outside the business and I just wanted to see different options and pay for it. But She just told me to come back tomorrow again???. I was very upset to say the least because I had missed work from my part-time job to be able to go and buy an edible arrangement and the fact that I was already there and the time was 1820 meaning they were still open just wasn't right to tell me to come back the next day. I then called the Edible Arrangements on University AVE to make a Compliment or talk to a manager about my experience, I express my frustration and my experience and lack of customer service to Jazmine who answered. Jazmine advised me that each location is own by a different owners and that she apologized for my bad experience. Jazmine told me that she was already closing herself but would wait for me if I could make it over there. (I wasn't happy to drive over there but I was determined to buy something nice for my family.) So I went to University AVE and met with Jazmine. I was so very happy with her GREAT FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE. Not only did Jazmine wait for me but she went beyond in making sure I was taking care of including delivering my edible arrangement to my residence which was just a lil away from the regular delivery route. Im not sure what Jazmine title is but she should be a Manager or Supervisor or lead team member. I know GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE when I see it and even more when I experience it and Jazmine gave me nothing less. Wow. I can not say enough great things about the customer service I received from Becky at this location. I ordered my boyfriend his favorite treats for his bday to be delivered. His schedule can be tricky because he is in and out of his office but Becky was extremely patient and ensured it was still delivered on the date I requested. I got a delivery yesterday from this store in Hillcrest. The driver had texted me when he dropped off the items. I went home shortly and found chocolate covered strawberries, and a bouquet of flowers. The strawberries were fine, however most of the flowers in the bouquet were rotted. I called my friend who had ordered the gifts for me and she was upset because she had ordered a white bouquet for sympathy, and I got a purple bouquet! It looked nothing like what she had ordered!!!
