Mother tried to send me an arrangement for my birthday. Delivery person and subsequent employee who my mother spoke with was named Jason. Although someone was home at the time of delivery, they claimed that no one was home at the time. The only remaining options were that would "redeliver" for $19.99, or that it must be picked up. Cameras at my home show that no one attempted to make a delivery during the time frame they claimed to make a delivery. Subsequently following up, Jason claimed we lived in a gated community (we do not). Everything indicates that there was no delivery attempt, and they are lying about the circumstances surrounding it. This clearly establishes that this store is not beyond lying to both their overseeing corporation (marked the item as delivered) and customers. read more

6/18 I ordered fruit to get sent to my friend. She unfortunately was not home to receive. The thoughtful driver called me to inform. I was given options, one being to call the store-- which I did. I was told that they will not leave the fruit out because weather/spoilage. I was told I can pick it up or they'd deliver next day, for an additional fee. I tried to see if they could deliver hers last, or as close to 5 pm as possible. The employee told me they close at 3:30 pm and I have to try the next day. The website states they close at 5 pm? Why are the employees lying about the hours of operation? Only lazy people do that. 6/19 I call. I ask if the delivery fee can be waived. The man "manage/owner" said it cannot be waived. $15. Since I was Father's Day weekend the fee went up to $20, but I guess I was lucky to just pay $15 for the delivery fee instead. I asked why the fee was $10 like I paid online. I was told that the fees change depending on type of order submission. I asked how the delivery works, as it was my first time ordering with edible arrangements, because I didn't want a repeat of the previous day. I wanted to request a time and that isn't a possibility-- per the website as the manager told me. Ok. Understood. Is there a time frame at least? He told me between 12-5 pm it would be delivered. I mentioned to this manager that I asked if the delivery can occur at 5 pm yesterday and was told by an employee that the store closes at 3:30 pm and this wasn't possible. His reply, the deliveries end between 3:30 pm and 4 pm. I asked for clarification because he just told me delivery will be between 12 pm - 5 pm? (He also confirmed the store closes at 5 pm) Anyway, My friend was unable to receive the arrangements. She was unavailable. And just decided to drive to the location to PICK UP her arrangements that were PAID ($25) to be DELIVERED. She was texted at 11:21 am that her order would be arriving in 10 minutes. They did not give her a 1-2 hour heads up for her delivery. My friend had to call the store, where the MANAGER told her that the purchaser (me) was being difficult. I AM PAYING FOR GOODS/SERVICE (that are not even good). I DESERVE TO KNOW THE OUTCOME OF WHAT IM PAYING FOR. I DESERVE TO ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT THE PRODUCT I AM FUNDING. There are a lot of rude people out there, but I remained respectful with the employees of the store (as with any store I shop with). So to hear that I was being difficult for asking questions is a big disappointment and shows the lack of customer service skills by the own manager/owner of this store. Now as for quality, My friend told me the fruits were delicious. But the cookies were not fresh and were hard. I was told that everything would be fresh. This store just cares about $ and does not care about customer satisfaction. Huge disappointment. read more

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS LOCATION. Literally, paid $70 for an arrangement and it looked like a 3 year old did it. When I called the store and spoke to the manager she already knew their arrangements don't look like the online picture and said "we do the best we can and laugh at one another. Corporate sends sessional pictures done by professionals." I ended up reaching out to corporate and making them aware and thank god I got a refund. Absolutely horrible and disgusting. My mom paid $116 for this and sent it to me for my birthday. She was so happy when she sent it to me and when she came by to see it she was so disappointed and mad as I was for this garbage place to take her money like that and not do anything about it. Let that sink in $116 for this. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. She called you and complained and you did nothing. read more

This review is way overdue however my story starts on Friday night the weekend of Valentines Day 2021 (keep in mind it's my first time EVER buying an edible arrangement) I got off work Friday night and went straight to the Edible Arrangements located in La Mesa. I wanted to see the different options of arrangements and purchase one for my wife and daughters for Sunday V-Day. I arrived there approximately 1820hrs and the closing time on the window and on Google stated 1900. So I had at least 30 mins to purchase my arrangement. Unfortunately the front door was closed and locked even though I could see staff inside they didn't pay attention to me. I called the business because there was a sign that read (if your here for pick up call this number and we will open the door for you). The unknown Female that answered told me to come back the next day to place my order even though I advised her that I was already outside the business and I just wanted to see different options and pay for it. But She just told me to come back tomorrow again???. I was very upset to say the least because I had missed work from my part-time job to be able to go and buy an edible arrangement and the fact that I was already there and the time was 1820 meaning they were still open just wasn't right to tell me to come back the next day. I then called the Edible Arrangements on University AVE to make a Compliment or talk to a manager about my experience, I express my frustration and my experience and lack of customer service to Jazmine who answered. Jazmine advised me that each location is own by a different owners and that she apologized for my bad experience. Jazmine told me that she was already closing herself but would wait for me if I could make it over there. (I wasn't happy to drive over there but I was determined to buy something nice for my family.) So I went to University AVE and met with Jazmine. I was so very happy with her GREAT FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE. Not only did Jazmine wait for me but she went beyond in making sure I was taking care of including delivering my edible arrangement to my residence which was just a lil away from the regular delivery route. Im not sure what Jazmine title is but she should be a Manager or Supervisor or lead team member. I know GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE when I see it and even more when I experience it and Jazmine gave me nothing less. Edible Arrangements on University Ave. have gain a loyal customer thanks to Jazmine and her professional, respectful and beyond customer service. Wow. I can not say enough great things about the customer service I received from Becky at this location. I ordered my boyfriend his favorite treats for his bday to be delivered. His schedule can be tricky because he is in and out of his office but Becky was extremely patient and ensured it was still delivered on the date I requested. She even offered to drop it off after work on her way home!! I really appreciate her and the great customer service. read more

I got a delivery yesterday from this store in Hillcrest. The driver had texted me when he dropped off the items. I went home shortly and found chocolate covered strawberries, and a bouquet of flowers. The strawberries were fine, however most of the flowers in the bouquet were rotted. I called my friend who had ordered the gifts for me and she was upset because she had ordered a white bouquet for sympathy, and I got a purple bouquet! It looked nothing like what she had ordered!!! I'd be weary of ordering from this company as I would definitely want fresh flowers delivered and somewhat look like what I had ordered! read more

34th Wedding Anniversary this weekend and can't get away with my lovely bride so I wanted to do something nice and practical. Edible Arrangements did an amazing job guiding me thru their extensive choices and made my gifts a memorable experience. They text me twice before they arrived and delivered exactly when they said they would. My wife's gifts were fresh, beautiful, and delicious. Horrible service. No one at the shop to greet you. A sign that says "ring bell for service." I rang the bell five times and nobody came out. I had to call the shop and a lady finally came out when she heard the phone ring saying "I'll be right with you." Had a terrible attitude the entire time and was not at all friendly. First Easter away from my daughter in 23 years. Ordered her favorite treat (chocolate covered strawberries ) from here and, based on the store hours posted on their website, made arrangements for her boyfriend to pick them up. He thought he could get there at 8 am but it didn't work out...I said no problem, they're open until noon. They start calling us around 9 am Easter morning saying that they're closing 1-1/2 hours early...so my daughter didn't get her Easter treat on Easter. So lame. read more

Very disappointed made an order for today Saturday 12/28/2019 charged my card. Showed up right now 1 hour and 30 minutes before they closed on my time frame I was given and apparently they closed earlier than what the time says. They could've at least called me. I wish I could give these place 0 stars. The customer service is absolutely terrible. Jason the driver is so rude, saying if I do not answer my phone immediately he would knock on my door, leave the fruit on my porch, and it would melt within 10 minutes. They did not give me a time limit or anything. This was a gift and now I am being forced to either Uber eats the fruit or go pick it up myself as this was paid for as a gift. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Horrible is the only thing I could say. read more

really disappointed ordered some chocolate strawberries for my mom for galentines and what she received was NOT what i ordered. i've ordered from the carlsbad store before so i thought hillcrest would be good too. WRONG. the strawberries were small and decorated by someone who obviously hates their job. what i ordered wasn't even hard?? they never called me or tried to contact me to ask if changing the box was okay or even changing my order!! don't even get me started on customer service. just don't order from here and save your money and time read more

I was contacted by the manager of the store, Cherice, who really tried to make things right. I was very annoyed by the fact that my arrangement was marked as delivered when it had not. Cherice explained that their system was down and they had experienced higher number of orders than expected. She went the extra mile and delivered today -- so she gets high marks for that - she even left a note to my Valentine apologizing for the delay. So I'm taking off a star for not delivering on time and a star for saying that the item was delivered (which means that someone lied to the manager). Again, nothing against Cherice - an excellent manager with extra marks for customer service. But the whole idea of getting something on Valentine's Day means that you get something on Valentine's Day....so that your Valentine doesn't think you are uncaring fool. read more

I am currently out of state for work and an unknown number was calling my cellphone, it was the delivery driver from a trusted florist that was sublet to take care of my order. The driver was going to deliver to the wrong address even though she read the proper address back to me over the phone. I spent about 10-15 minutes on the phone walking her through finding the location of our home and verified delivery via camera and doorbell. When you're paying a premium price to have something done properly and this is the outcome, it was extremely disappointing. I will not be using four seasons flowers for any special occasion again, big let down on many levels. 5-10-2026: To the owner of the shop that just replied back to my review. I am not sure how much more clear I can make this to you, the CORRECT address was provided and everything was filled out appropriately on my end, I am not understanding why you are harping on the fact that this was an online order, if your operation doesn't have the capacity to accommodate this then don't offer it as a service. There is absolutely NO difference in placing an order in person, over the phone and or online. The "trusted" florist you decided to pawn this order off on still attempted to deliver to the WRONG address. Nothing about this was as a success and I cannot believe you have the audacity in a public platform to try and deflect the way that you are. I spent 10-15 minutes on the phone with an elderly delivery driver explaining to her very kindly, that wherever she was going was not the correct address, I am struggling to understand what about this are you not understanding? I am absolutely flabbergasted that instead of reaching back out in attempt to correct the issues, especially in a review, this is your stance. Your address is irrelevant when you're listed as one of the top rated florists in San Diego, if you didn't know, Chula Vista is 100% part of the city. Adding photos for context, maybe you want to rethink your "trusted" partnership approach. Pretty ridiculous again your take on things. Will NEVER be using your shop again and will be sure to spread the word to friends and family to steer clear of your establishment! Very funny that the florist is claiming this is the first email they received, my first communication to them was not the one they decided to include in their review, don't believe everything you read. The owner is incredibly defensive and does all that she can to deflect and spin any negative review to benefit her operation. Go and check yelp and google and get a kick out of it if you have time. The only thing good that came of this after airing things out publicly was a refund.

I called Edible Arrangements in HillCrest today ordering an Arrangement for my Best friends Mother Turning 90 yrs old. I received an arrangement and it was delightful, so I thought I would give one as a gift. Let me tell you, I am a very indecisive person and AMY helped me out with exceptional customer service. Even though I changed my mind several times and took forever she was as polite and helpful at the end as she was in the beginning. I will definitely order again as along as Amy is around. Wow, I thought it was a bad day for the manager, Jason, but it turns out that this is chronic! This guy is probably the slimiest dude I've ever seen working as a retail "manager". I had a problem with my order and have never seen someone have worse problem solving skills than him! He was the worst type-- aggressively stupid! I'm ok with that. This was not the case with this florist. In this instance I felt completely ripped off, hence the review. We ordered the "rose rapture" and paid extra for the deluxe version. The description and pictures from their website show a gorgeous bouquet of "lavender and pink roses" and the size for the deluxe version as 18x18. What I received was a bouquet that was significantly smaller than expected. So much so, that I had to bust out a measuring tape and saw that what I actually received was a bouquet of orange, yellow, pink and red roses that measured 11x17. Was the bouquet cute? Sure- it looked as cute as an inexpensive bouquet I could have picked up from any grocery store. Did it look like the $200+ bouquet we picked out from this florist? Definitely not. So, I called and spoke with a woman about my dissatisfaction in what we received. The woman wasn't unpleasant...but she also wasn't apologetic or sympathetic. She was more defensive than anything. She said that the reason the bouquet was smaller than I expected was because she decided to put it in a smaller vase so that it would be sturdier. I'm sorry, but that makes no sense. You're telling me that in order to receive an 18x18 bouquet (as advertised on their own site), the sturdiness would have to be compromised? Anyway, she offered to take back the flowers and make me a new one or refund our money. Lacking trust in the florist and turned off by her excuse, I decided I'd rather just take the refund. I didn't find out till the following day, after they picked the flowers back up, that they would not offer a FULL refund including the extra fees and delivery, but only a refund for the flowers itself. So at the end of the day, we were still out about $50 for nothing. Disappointing experience to say the least. So if you're thinking about ordering from them, don't. I've included pictures so you can see for yourself why I was so unimpressed.

Picture below. It was delivered today, picture below. Please be the judge of the difference between advertised photo, the price, and the delivered bouquet. It was cute, for a 30-50$ bouquet from a grocery store, but certainly not a 100$ and certainly not as advertised on their website. I called the shop to ask if there was a mistake, spoke to a friendly employee who told me something along the lines of "it's not actually them with the online orders..." "...a third party places the orders" (?!?) and that her boss will call me back. I received a call from Christina, the owner presumably, who started counting each flower and their prices (the advertised bouquet is one price), and tried to tell me I actually got more flowers than I paid for and that sometimes pictures aren't exactly as we imagine them. Hold up, there's a difference between artistic vision and what this was - I pointed out that besides the striking size difference, the description says there should be sea lavender in there, and she said nope, this bouquet does not have lavender in it. THEN! And here is the kicker, told me that if the recipient of the flowers is not happy with them, she is welcome to return them to the shop for a refund! What delivery florist would ever say something like that? Obviously the recipient is trying to enjoy a gift and not get involved with a florist drama! What if this was a funeral or a birthday bouquet? This is a matter to be resolved between the customer and the company, not a recipient who did nothing wrong and just tried to enjoy the occasion. After that horrible "solution" statement, I told Christina that what I will do instead: that I will write an honest review, post pictures of what is advertised, what was delivered, and let people decide if this is as advertised. Additionally, that I will also be filing a charge back with my credit card company, pictures included; and let me tell you, did that unleash a spirit. The tone changed immediately, voice raised, no longer having a conversation- instead I've been told I am threatening her and she will sue me for defamation(?!), that I was yelling, not telling the truth (I mean look at the pictures). She also said all she did was trying to resolve the situation - by again, telling me to tell the recipient of the bouquet TO RETURN IT to the store "IF SHE IS NOT HAPPY". At the end she yelled 'GOODBYE" and hung up on me. Who does that, florist or a business owner? Is that a proper way to resolve a clearly, blatantly false marketed bouquet? If the pictures posted online don't match IN THE SLIGHTEST what was delivered, then either change the price of the bouquet to adequately reflect its price, or deliver as advertised, it's that simple! So yeah, I wish luck to this business moving forward with practices like that, the reviews will reflect the reality soon enough. Staaaaaay waaaaay away.
