My favorite candy store in the Workd! They give you a free sample when you walk in. I usually ask if I can trade what they are sampling for my favorite piece of chocolate. They always say yes. All the chocolates are gluten free!! Got some suckers for my neice and they put them in a box for me and gift wrapped them. They also gave me some extra suckers to try. Hint go to Costco and get the gift cards that are discounted. Parking is tough in season but I park behind the store. read more

This is the first time ever that I have been disappointed in a See's Candy Store. I stopped by this store to purchase a custom box of chocolates and some lollipops. I was told that I could only purchase a custom box if I limited myself to four flavors of chocolates and purchased at least one pound. The employee working the window said that the restrictions were put into place because an employee called out of work and the remaining staff did not want to be overwhelmed with customers who want custom orders. This would have been fine with me but the employees attitude was unnecessarily rude....She acted as though she was a victim by having to assist customers. read more

Delightfully delicious! Sees satisfies every sweet tooth with a vast array of confectionary options. You can pick from pre-made boxes of different sorts or you can customize your very own box (My favorite way to go ). My choices always include chocolate caramels, chocolate butterscotch, raspberry truffle, dark chocolate truffle, and whatever else catches my eye that day. The store smells heavenly the minute you enter, and you are always greeted with a smile and a yummy sample! The service is knowledgeable and helpful. My only knock is that the candy is pretty pricey , but it's totally worth it. When I lived in L.A., having See's Candies was a forgone conclusion. Now that I am back on the West Coast, See's Candies is once again a mainstay in my life! The uniforms worn by the Servers are a wonderful memory and still remind me of the I Love Lucy candy conveyor belt episode. This was my first time at this location. The store is located on the main street so there is no parking out front. They have a really small lot in the back but then you have to walk around to the front. When I walked in, I was greeted by one of the ladies that was free and she offered me a sample. I have always loved that See's does this because it gives me a chance to try things I don't normally buy. When it comes to the candy here, I am a creature of habit. I always buy the same 7 kinds. I don't really know if they deserve the 3 stars, maybe just because my kids and myself didn't get intoxicate with old chocolates that past their due date and were still on the shelves. Hubby bought this box of chocolates, because the wife was upset... but he is always distracted, he asked for suggestions at the Sees store representative, and was handled a box with a variety of EXPIRED chocolates, unfortunately we didn't expect they were expired, so we ate all to find later the small paper with the manufacture date, please read before purchase. Apparently there's warranty, but I don't have nothing to return after finishing the chocolates from the box So check check before buy or before eat all I definitely think they really need to do store inventory more often and keep aside the expired ones. read more

Samples are too sweet each time I venture in. Super clean and tidy, almost too sterile for a "candy" store. Sales person approached and offered assistance but very mechanically with little warmth, mirrored the environment. I had a question about the coffee pops and she didn't have an answer so I left. First, every airport has a See's candy so locating one shouldn't be a problem, UNLESS... it's the Holidays. Then you really need to go to the original Sees Candies shop in Scottsdale. Second. Free samples. Free. Ask for your favorite or take a chance on the flavor of the day. Still magnificent chocolate. Third. When your wife is so good at figuring out flavors because she has memorized the shape of the candy, you just step aside and let her go!! LASTLY. A great spot for high quality chocolate! If chocolate is your Achilles heel, take a look at See's Candies! Sometimes they also have free samples, a real treat! People here are super friendly, you can get different sizes boxes according to the weight. A 1 pound box for $20 with about 22-23 candies in!! I was initially shopping for cupcakes but they are sometimes overpriced and not good quality, so take my advice, go for chocolate candies instead! What's not to love about See's Candy? By far the best handmade chocolates. Still made in the USA, and it feels like a shop from the 1950s. Went to See's Candies after a meeting across the street this past Thursday. Haven't been to a See's in sooo long (my mom used to take us when I was a kid and now I'm 53). Got the same order she would always get: molasses chips, toffee-ettes and milk chocolate English toffee. OMG--so delicious! The gal that helped me was knowledgable and very nice. I always go to this location to pick out the candies I want specifically. I always choose candy that does not have nuts like the buttercream truffles.They give you a free sample and the candy is always fresh.
