While I often leave reviews for restaurants and specialty shops, I realized I've never reviewed a place I visit several times a week: Trader Joe's. As a busy working mom, I love that I can find quality groceries, fresh produce, salads, sandwiches, yogurt, and frozen meals at prices that help me stay on budget. The frozen food section is a lifesaver. My daughters love the dumplings, and for a fraction of what I would spend at a restaurant, I can put together a quick and delicious family meal at home. The employees are one of the best parts of the shopping experience. They are consistently friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. Whether I'm looking for a product or need a recommendation, they always make shopping pleasant and easy. The store is clean, well-organized, and not overwhelming. My only complaint is that sometimes I fall in love with a product and then it disappears! But somehow I always find a new favorite. Great products, great prices, and outstanding customer service. Always like my local TJ, I prefer this location to Brea for the "bigger" parking lot despite being alway jammed packed. The service is as expected (good plus friendly cashiers) and like any TJ stores, the staff is always restocking items and competing for the small space (hahhahahaha). I probably cannot add anything new but could share specific TJ "food" hit my spot are the Mushroom & Truffle Pesto, Soy Chorizo, Mairaki sweet potatoes and huge corn nuts. Trader Joe's is my TOP CHOICE when it comes to buying FLOWERS - they always have a great selection & variety of flowers at a good price! There are a lot of unique grocery items that are THE BEST & that I can only find at Trader Joe's - ex.: their cookie butter, seasonal apple cider, double cream Brie cheese, pita chips, mini ice cream cones, etc. All of the employees are always friendly and fast. Only downside to Trader Joe's is that it's more catered towards prepping meals for small families or just a single person; it is quite pricey, so I only come here for small things - for bulk groceries I prefer Costco or Ralph's. read more

Trader Joe's in Yoruba Linda is located in a strip mall with Home Goods and Pizza Hut. I sometimes come here just because it is close to this Japanese supermarket so along the way I will stop at this location. The parking lot has a lot of space since it is shared with a couple of the stores. The inside is large and the staff here has been nice and friendly! My favorite items for the moment are their flavored yogurt, organic bananas, tortilla cheese, and tortilla itself! While grabbing these I usually find something new to snack on as well! Their rice crackers have been on point and they are also gluten-free if you need that they have plenty of items that state ingredients and what is inside. Don't skip out on the dessert as well! Some delicious ones are quite addicting. Since things are seasonal I like to come in often just to check out what's new! read more

The basic concept of Trader Joe's has not changed. Overall, service and selection is very good and it has recently become the go to place for flowers. But, here is what knocks it down from a 5 star review to a 2 star review. On a regular basis they are now selling limited edition bags which creates a real hassle and inconvenience to people who actually want groceries. When the bags are on sale the parking lot (never a strong suit for any TJ's) is packed worse than on the day before a holiday, necessitating a walk from "the tulies " if you are bold enough to venture in. There is a huge line with multi-generational families waiting to get there maximum allotment and then out to the car and back in line before posting them for sale online. The real rub is that when I tried to buy one for my personal use while legitimately shopping, I was told no because I did not wait in line. ARRRRRGGGHHHH! Now, when I see the parking lot at overflowing, I continue my journey down the road and shop at Von's. read more

This is my local Trader Joe's that's close to my home. I come here on a seasonal basis for their seasonal food and products. In this case, I came for my fall harvest haul. The parking was a challenge because there are other big businesses sharing parking like Home Goods and I think there is a pharmacy there too. The day I visited, there was a carnival across the street so I think some people parked there. The store is organized and the staff are friendly and helpful. Trader Joe's is always crowded so be prepared to see a lot of people. I like their pancake bread, pumpkin loaf. They had a lot of pumpkin themed items. I like their vitamins too. However, today at your store, a male cashier wearing a blue T-shirt did not use any polite language throughout the entire transaction. While I'm not particularly good at making small talk with cashiers, basic courtesy is something service personnel should possess, and this lack of professionalism was very disappointing. read more

Trader Joe's is my favorite store. I shop here several times and week. Often stopping on my way to work for ingredients to cook dinner for my crew. I love their produce, meats are low price and nice quality, cheesees for most any occasion and taste are offered for sale, the frozen food section offers so many tempting main courses and sides that there are nearly infinite pairing options. Beer, wine, and alcohol in many different varieties are available. If they sold my beloved Dr. Pepper i might not ever shop anywhere else. read more

This is my favorite Trader Joes. At least once a week I go on Friday early morning where I can see the cheerful staff with their familiar faces who greet with a smile. They are so quick to help with any questions I might have. I even know some on a first name basis. The store is always clean and stocked perfectly. Never have to wait in line very long. I love this location! They're so fabulous at helping me to my car while I was pregnant and now with both my kids. They always pack my items with care. If I accidentally buy something spoiled I know they'll take care of it if I have a video or bring it in. Managers really care about the customer's shopping experience! Bathroom is clean, it's well stocked. I highly recommend going. It is a smaller location, but worth it. The flower selection is always fresh. 10/10 recommend! read more

It's been over a year I've stepped foot into a TJ I totally miss & love it here. I came here specifically for their new Cold brew coffee & boba ice cream. Suggest calling to ck if they have in stock. Now i hear my friends saying their local store are limiting just one I LOVE coconut. So can imagine it in ice cream as coconut milk. Been hearing all the raving reviews about it & It's been flying off the freezer, that's been trending past month. Now i know why. So good. Even though it's Vegan. It's delicious!!! Can't even tell the difference. The boba is so chewy & thru out entire ice cream pint. And the coffee ice cream is amazing! The original Trader joe #IceCreamCoffee is good itself. If you LOVE the Boba Ice Cream Bar. You'll LOVE THIS The best speculoos Cookie butter. Love this and do does my son along with my in laws. Enjoy it with slices of apples. Heaven. Last Saturday 2/1 I was a victim of theft at the TJ in Yorba Linda. Someone stole my cell phone out of my crossbody purse which I was wearing. I understand the same day there was another phone stolen from the same store. Luckily my cell phone was recovered by the Irvine Police Department the same evening. It was held for evidence and was released to me Thursday. A detective said he'd be calling for a follow up I suspect the individuals who took my phone that morning were a young couple, the girl wearing a bikini bathing suit top and a fishnet shrug. The boy was wearing a tank top. It was 48 degrees that morning hardly a summer clothing day. read more

This Trader Joe's is doing a really good job during the pandemic. The team members wear masks and the store stays restocked. They have stickers on the floor for socially distanced check out lines. One idea they could implement here that other local stores have done that might help is limiting capacity because it gets crowded and makes it difficult to distance. After some convincing from my friends, Trader Joe's has slowly turned into my go-to grocery store. I love shopping here now! They have a great selection of produce and other products, including their flowers and plants section. I love the seasonal products, as I find myself looking forward to what new items they have in store. Everything always seems to be in stock, which is great. The staff is super friendly and helpful, which is sometimes rare to find in other grocery stores. Prices aren't too outrageous and portion sizes are perfect for me. Though they sometimes don't have everything I'm looking for, I can generally get most of my grocery needs here. Compared to some other Trader Joe's locations I've been to, this location never seems to get too crowded, which I'm a huge fan of. I'm also surprised with how well this store is maintained. Trader Joe's Yorba Linda continues to bless me in new ways. Always- Fabulous convenient food at very competitive prices! Good hours. Amazingly cheerful, helpful staffing! But when I've had to move all my many books to have my home repainted, managers Armando, Lisa, and devoted employee Kyle, plus the entire staff, saved those little 6- bottle wine boxes with lids for me 3 mornings this week! Not sure what is going on at this location. Had a very bad experience here yesterday (4/22/24) at 7pm. The lady cleaning the aisles kept scowling at my wife and I chasing us down every aisle glaring at us. Then at the register Kyle haphazardly threw our eggs in our bags. Several eggs were broken and I double checked before picking them out to purchase if they were not broken. Not going back to this location with this poor level of customer service. read more

Trader Joe's is one of my favorite places to buy spices. They're only like 1.99 and that's such a better bargain than anywhere else. We also love their snack sections and their premade chai is one of my favorites. The employees at this specific location are always helpful. I've been coming here ever since they opened. TJ's is always updating what they offer. I love the frozen banana bites. I also love the lemon grass egg rolls. So tasty. They have a great variety of breads and nuts. The frozen section has many meals ready to heat and eat. They also carry many quality TJ branded items. I love the curry items and the various ways you can have rice. So easy and affordable. I'm not into wine and liquor but they sure have plenty to choose from. The meat section, cheeses, vegetable section and more always have what I'm looking for and then some. They carry standards but also have new items or something different that you don't usually see in a larger grocer. Go give it a try.
