Our first RV purchase and we did a lot of comparisons. Checked dealers in SA, Austin, Bourne and Seguin. Hands down, we both agreed and Seguin RV out-paced them all. Rustan met us as soon as we opened the door and based on what we wanted, showed us the RVs that met (and often exceeded)our wishlist. Pure bait and switch. Having been in the sales industry before, letting your customer know that you'll do everything to help them is important. These guys missed that day in class. After making you feel like they're doing you a favor, they had us fill out an application for a travel trailer that had already been sold! Wow. How much would it have taken to check your inventory before showing it. A few seconds. The "competitor" next door is the same DBA and has the same registered agent per the Secretary of State, as well as a shared lot. All I can say is don't waste your time going here, cause these guys will waste yours. read more

Here's an update to my experience with this "No Class dealer" We contacted the manufacturer of our trailer that we unfortunately bought from seguin rv. Asked them if that spacific trailer was sent out from there factory with the Bose sound system in it like the brochure said it supposed to have in it. Of course they said it was sent with one. (Manager said it never had one in it) Asked the saleman where it was and he said he would check into that. (Never happensd) My wife and I talked several times with Keystone and told them everything that we were going through with this dealer. They said this wasn't the first time they had a problem with him. She was going to file a complaint againt this dealer. Keystone also gave us permission to go to another dealer to have the other problems that the salesman said he would have fixed. Went to Crestview RV sales in Selma and all was fixed. Dont understand why a brand new trailer thats under warranty would be such a problem. Not like it would cost them any money to fix something that's under warranty. By the way........Keystone sent me another Bose system and apologized for what the dealer had done. Thank you Keystone! !!!! While going through some of the paperwork in the trailer.....we found a brochure for the remote to the Bose system. Hmmmmmm.....thought it didnt come with one? read more

I purchased a used 5th wheel from this dealer on or about January 26, 2018. It was missing one piece of the theater seating group. I was assured that it would be ordered and brought to me when it came in. There was a lot of communication with the salesman and the chair was always on back order or some other excuse. To date, Sept 26, 2019, I still do not have the chair. Do not buy there unless you want to be lied to. read more

His willingness to impugn the truthfulness and knowledge of someone he doesn't know is also revealing. As for "the business dealings I don't understand," as a registered agent of multiple entities myself, let me clarify what I stated before. At the time of my review, per the Secretary of State, you sir, were the legal representative in the state of Texas for both Seguin RV and South Texas Fun Center. Hiding behind a different name or a DBA doesn't relieve you of any association. I've spent years in a profession requiring the research of public information. So, if you'd like to continue this, I assure you, I'm quite capable of being diligent. We purchased an RV from Seguin RV and we could not be happier from start to finish. I loved how the salespeople were complete low pressure and ACTUALLY LISTEN to what I wanted instead of what they want to sell. When or if I want to trade up I will 100% go back!!! The mechanics staff was also on point as well. Donald was very helpful in the trailer connections and very accommodating for the correct one. Rick V. was an awesome sales person and followed through after the sale. Ken was fantastic and went above and beyond to help us out. If I could give them more stars I would. The RV he advertised as "Ready to take across the country today!" had dry rotted tires and left us stranded on our first long road trip trip when the transmission blew out in the Arizona desert. 3500 dollars later we were on our way. We went to look at travel trailers, and ended up purchasing one. Our salesperson Amanda was great. She showed us trailers that we asked for and another which was more of what we were looking for. They helped get me financed. I needed some extra time to get the down payment,. They worked with me on that as well. All in all it was a great experience. Easier than purchasing a vehicle. Amanda (salesperson), Albert (finance) and Shawn (service manager)were awesome to work with. The whole experience was two thumbs up. read more

They worked hard finding a camper that fits our needs. Their sales team is awesome 5 stars. They fall extremely short on the service side. We had a warranty issue with our 5th wheel we where in the area stopped by visited with Bryan  about the problem he asked me to email him pictures. I sent them on Feb. 22 he responded on the 23rd that he had received them. On March 2nd and 3rd I emailed him for an update no response. I called him on March 5th he told he would look in to it and promised to give me a call on the 8th. I never received a call. I emailed him on the 9th no response I called him on March the 10th he told he would call me right back he was with a customer. Hours went by  I called back he told me again he was with a customer and would call me back. I got the return call shortly told be told he had missed placed my paper work and had to find it he did not have an update on when we could get our work done. I have tried to make it easy by emailing and giving him a chance to respond when he has time but does not seam to work since he has only responded to my email with the pictures. I hate having to call and bother him I know they might be busy but I do not know what else to do. I wish they had better communication with this customer.  I want to take my family camping again soon. read more

This business uses unfair, unethical business practices. We gave a 500 dollar deposit to hold an rv. Did NOT sign the paperwork they were pushing us to sign, wanted to think about it instead as the rv was really too small for our needs. When we contacted them 3 or 4 days later MIKE, who was our salesperson, said he would refund our deposit. Three days later it still wasn't done and the business manager told us he would ONLY refund it if our bank told him he had to. This is not only bad business it's also illegal. We have contacted the BBB and our bank. The unfair and virtually illegal practices of this business SHOULD close it down. If you value your hard earned money don't do business with these people! Had to use 1 star just to post this, but they really deserve a negative 5! -5 read more

Best customer service EVER! I had been looking for a particular model trailer and found it online at Seguin RV. I left an email and was called by the owner the next morning. He had a salesperson contact me and by the afternoon my RV was delivered. No hassle!! Owner gave me a follow up call to make sure everything was good. Great service. After looking at three other places, I stopped at Seguin RV to look for a reasonably priced RV for me while I was geographically separated from the family. Rustin was very friendly and understood my situation. He took in what I was looking for and found me the perfect RV... at the time. It was a bunk house so the wife and three girls could come visit, no slides, but the price was right. When the time came for the family to join me, my wife was so pleased with the RV life that we decided to upgrade and stay with it. I returned to Rustin and Seguin RV and once again they took great care of us. I purchased a new 2018 Jayco Seneca 37TS from this dealer in early July and set a date to fly in to San Antonio and take delivery of the unit 3 weeks later. I had read all the available reviews on this dealer so my expectaions were not high, but I also knew that they had one of two units that i could find in the country with the options we wanted. I have also owned a similar '08 Jayco Seneca for the past 6 yrs plus have been in manufacturing operations and supply chain for my 35 year career so figured i could manage through most difficulties. I took delivery of this unit on July 20, 2018 and then drove it from Seguin TX to Phoenix AZ. The Positives: The entire sales staff I interfaced with were great: Mark (Sales Manager) played no back and forth games and we came to a mutually acceptable deal quickly. Marko and Rustin (Sales Persons who handled the transactions) were very responsive and did everything they could to work through all the ultimate difficulties with the unit delivery although more Jayco Motorhome specific knowledge of where the systems are and how they work vs. having to look it up would be helpful for future customers. Overall, a great sales staff to work with. and I appreciated the aftersale care. The Negatives: - First I stayed in constant communications to make sure the unit was ready for delivery ...... it was not. - The coach apparently went through a cursory Pre-Delivery Inspection 4 days before I arrived on only needed a slight adjustment to one of the slides. When the unit was dilivered to me the whole unit was still winterized including a full water filter unit with antifreeze......the new filter was in with the owners manuals. I asked about the operation of the "new" Truma hot water heater as i was not familiar with it and was told to read the manual??? Same for the programming of the keypad. I was told the unit did not come with the blueray player and multidevice command center controls as in the brochure, but discovered these on the drive home when the front tv lifted away from the entertainment center revealing them behind the tv......It was apparent that most systems (stove, Microwave, toilet, etc.) had not been inspected for working condition as they were still wrapped in transportation packaging and the sales team was quickly removing as we walked through the unit. - The Jayco quality continues to be suspect: The front one-piece cab over fiberglass is not aligned and flush with the walls of the unit on the outside....off by approximate 1/2 inch on the passenger side and flush on the drivers side. This outside misfit results in the hood liner in the cab not fitting right and slightly sagging over the passenger cab door window. - The unit was said to be detailed two days before I arrived however it was clearly not done well with much dirt still on top of bunk and rear cap.....the inside floor had to be done twice by the sales team before they would even let me enter. Time for a new detailer, but speaks to the lack of desire for this dealership to deliver a first rate experience. - Finally, this is one of those dealers who still insist on charging a $400+ Document Prep Fee. Here is the rub, I bought the unit to be titled in AZ not TX so the dealer did not have to do any paperwork for title, tax or registration. The only paperwork is a printout of buyers order. I even had to fill in all my own and the units information on each page of the warranty checklist. The BAD! - Note: I should have test driven the unit before even doing the paperwork, but I didn't assuming that the dealer had driven it. When I finally left the dealer after normal closing time on a Friday and drove away the steering wheel is cocked 1/3 over to the right......I was worried about an alignment issue, but the unit tracked straight and appeared aligned well so just the steering wheel had not been straightened as part of the alignment at the factory. I drove the 1000 miles back to Phoenix and the unit is aligned but the turned steering wheel is very frustrating and demonstrates again the lack of caring on Jayco's and the dealer's part to deliver quality. I have a warrantly claim in with Jayco who said they will address. - The Garmen GPS/Entertainment in dash unit does not have any Map Data Available (still not sure why) and actually stopped working completely 200 miles into the trip. I called Garmin from the road who said it must be a fuse. I went to look for the Chassis Manual and I did not have one. I texted the Sales person, Rustin, who was able to photo a page from a manual to give me the fuse location. I replaced the 20A fuse and the power returned.....still no Map Data?? - At 600 miles in the Check Engine light came on while going down the interstate and has stayed on. I called the Freightliner Custom Chassis 24/7 breakdown assistance who said the light is a "minor" and to continue the drive and go to a Freightliner shop in Phx. I bought a new unit to not have to go to repair shops. read more

I bought a 2012 Brookstone 367RL from Seguin RV, September 20, 2017. I could only afford a certain amount and they did drop the price. But they didn't tell me they were taking the 42" TV out of the living room along with the stereo system. I let that slide. I had been living in a smaller travel trailer, that belongs to my parents, for a few years and it leaked like a sieve. So I found this one, which was exactly what I wanted. I was assured that this one did not leak, that they had checked everything out. My first clue should have been when they had me sign an "AS IS" clause. A week after I got it home, we had a rain storm. I went to put something in the pass through storage and there was water in it. Also, I found water on the window sill in the hall above the pass through. Then November 7th, the refrigerator went out. All the ammonia leaked out. Service guy said it had been doing it for some time. If they do such a rigorous check-up on the used trailers, how come they didn't find this? Right now, I can't afford to get the fridge fixed or replaced, whichever I have to do. So, every 2 or 3 days, I have to buy 40 lbs of ice. 30 in the fridge & 10 in one of the freezer sections. Can't freeze, but I can put cold things in there to keep them cool. If it has to be replaced, it won't be another Norcold 4 door. I'll put a residential. Maybe a Samsung French door. I'm short, so at least I'll be able to see what's in the freezer. Then this past week (June 17-21, 2018), we had some really bad rain. 7 1/2" plus. I was in Houston at the time with my mother at MD Anderson. Got home, and walked into my bedroom, only to step in sopping wet carpet. I knew something was up when I walked in the door as it was musty smelling. So with each thing that goes wrong, I get a little more and more disgruntled. So glad my sister-n-law didn't buy from them. I'm single so I guess they saw a sucker coming. But you don't mess with mamma. She'll let everyone know just what it is. And I hope they read this. I don't like being taken advantage of or used. Shame on them!!! read more

Buyer beware, what you buy is not what you get and the owner is a real piece of work . He won't accept the truth that his staff is clueless of there actions . I guess you truly do get what you pay for. Sequin RV's prices on their campers are good. However, their service department is substandard. I had an appointment for a two hour service call that has taken well over 5 hours, and still counting. I was told to bring in my 2015 Jeep to have the electronic brake assist installed, (I had paid $250.00 when I purchased my RV to have that installed). My Jeep did not come with a wiring harness. I was told by the "service manager" that if they obtained the harness that I needed it would be $250 dollars AND the cost of installing it. I bought the OEM complete kit for the wiring harness on Amazon for $170.00, new. He told me that it would take 2 hours to install everything. What is the point in making an appointment if the work is not going to be done? I have been kicked out of the main office at 11:30 because the manager wants to close the office early. Now, I'm sitting in the back trailer which looks like it is about to fall down around me. The lack of professionalism at this establishment is scary. Due to it being close to the holidays, all I heard from the staff was, "what party are you going to", or "it's time for me to go, I'm only working half a day today". Be fore warned, the staff at Sequin RV are not concerned about you. It's all about them. I'm very disappointed and will not purchase from them again. read more

Let's start of with the positive, and this is where I give it a 1 star, if I could, I would give it a 1/2 star rating. I have tried to refrain myself from coming on yelp and giving a bad review. I also spoke to Ken (the owner) and told him I was going to give his company a bad review, but he did make an effort to fix things but unfortunately it cant cover the frustration I have. So here we go....When I purchased my travel trailer, I did the walk through and noted things that needed attention, but I took my trailer with me knowing that it would be back for the repairs. Once I had the trailer and notice there were some other things that needed attention, I told them about other issues and they noted them down. I was told that the MINOR repairs would be taken care of and they are on a 2 week turnaround, I was fine with that. Well, turns out the 2 weeks turns into 1 month and 1 week, after calling and calling and trying to get the status, I was able to pick it up. Well.....the repairs were 1/2 completed. So there goes more time and FUEL which is expensive. I have yet to get the job completed. I am trying to sell the RV I purchased here at Seguin RV, and if I am successful, I will NOT purchase from them again. It's really sad, because I try to give my business to the mom and pop shops, but I would have to say I am going with a company that stands behind their word! And your WORD should be everything! read more

Horrible horrible service. We dropped off our RV for repairs caused by a tire blow out (and which is being paid for by our vehicle insurance) on September 13th, 2016. We brought the trailer here for repairs because Seguin RV is where we purchased the trailer three years ago. We were originally told the trailer would be ready to pick up the week of October 4th, 2016. We then received a phone call on October 4, 2016 and was told a part didn't come in (aka forgot to order it which was confirmed by Barbara during today's phone call with her) and that the trailer would be ready in a couple of days. The excuse of "A couple of days" kept occurring. This week alone, my husband was told the trailer would be ready to pick up on Tuesday which was then rescheduled to today. Guess what....we just received another phone call saying the part still has not arrived and it will be at least Wednesday of next week. Today Barbara said the part had not arrived. Yet Sean (Shawn), service manager, told my husband the wrong part arrived today and had to be sent back. Who is telling the truth? During this time, my husband has had to reschedule other appointments at other facilities (such as wash/wax) several times because Seguin RV cannot/will not complete the work on our trailer in a timely manner. We asked for the part to be overnighted and was told this could not be done because the part had already left the warehouse. We even asked if a second part could be overnighted to arrive on Monday and the first part to be sent back when it arrives. We were told this could not be done. Needless to say, we are not holding our breath for the trailer to be repair and ready on Wednesday, October 19th, 2016...the next "promised to be done by" date. This is the worst repair service we have ever experienced while owning travel trailers. read more
