Just what a salon experience should be, right?? They use great products, and know what they're doing, so it's easy to just let your lady do her thang! I also chose it because it had online booking, but I can never seem to get that to work. :/ I spoke with the woman at the front and asked her about setting up appointments and the cost. The stylists working on a sliding scale depending on what you want and their level of experience. In the past I've been burned by this kind of experience because I didn't ask the price before booking. This time I asked for prices and who would be the best for a men's haircut. We got set up with Beth. Beth was really nice. She was very friendly and easy to talk with. She gave us advice on places to look at for living, what to do in the area, and what has changed since my husband had left for CA. The haircut was also quick lasting probably no more than 30 minutes. Our last place would take well over an hour usually. The price wasn't bad either. It was $28 for each of us, which is reasonable for a man's haircut. The haircut was good. Way better than most I've had, but not quite the same as the two best haircuts I've ever had (once in Spain and once in Pasadena). Friendly service, easy to book, good location, and speedy. 43/100

I was going to be taking the place of a client who had last-minute canceled on a stylist named Heidi. The consultation time with her was very short. She asked very minimal questions, but I was told by the lady at the front desk that she was "very good" so I trusted her. However, I was wrong to do so. The overall experience at the salon was pretty pleasant. She made good conversation with me and I was provided with water. I walked out of the salon pretty happy with my results. I thought that my bangs were a little bit short, but I didn't mind that much since that happens almost every time I go in to get a touch up knot my bangs. mind u i barely have bangs they are basically long curtain bangs that i like to have because i wear my hair up a lot and i like the look. anyway, day goes by I have a headband in because I was doing chores all day. I come home take my headband off and am shocked. I was left with choppy, uneven, way too short bangs. I am not sure how she was able to style them so I couldn't tell when I left the salon, but it's safe to say I will be stuck wearing that very same headband until these grow out to a reasonable length so that I can fix them and they won't be too short. Safe to say this is one of the worst touchups I have ever had and that I will forever be scared to go back into any salon and ask them to touch my bangs ever again. I'm sad to leave, I don't like doing this. This place was recommended by my mom, she saw a different stylist who wasn't available this day , not sure if it would've been a better decision to wait the next day she would be in work or if I should've never came into the salon at all. I was hoping this would be a much better experience, considering their prices are very reasonable and it was a pretty quick cut. But sadly, I have learned my lesson and will probably stick to cutting my own hair despite being FAR from a professional.

I don't look as tired with them on. I was happy my girl, Gina was able to fit me in her schedule on a recent visit to Minnesota. She does a phenomenal job. I highly recommend Gina and this salon if you need lashes, hair care, pedicures or manicures. Gina's salon is clean and beautiful. I have dyed dark hair that I am lightening to blonde, it is a slow process. I went to Salon Sartor…read morefor my second round of lightening and I was extremely unsatisfied with the job Denise did (even worse, she is the owner). I was left with a brassy blonde that looked like a failed home attempt. I later contacted Denise requesting a refund, and she stated that the level of lightening achieved was impresive for one sitting, and I really should have paid more for the amount of foils she use. Half my head is still brown. I would have been satisfied with a partial refund, but her only fix was to have me come in and tone it and add a few extra foils.. Too late, I had already needed to go to another salon the next day (Sunday) and pay an additional $60 to have it corrected so it looked presentable enough to go to work the next day. I would not recommend this salon for the simple fact that the owner can't even honor the mission statement, it's poor business. I've since received great customer service and had an overall positive experience at Simonson Salon and Spa in Maple Grove.
