It's a really cozy moody interior, with *no big lights* aka great low lighting and comfy seating options. When we went, there were just a few other parties there so pretty quiet. I liked that we had a whole corner to ourselves with a sectional couch of sorts and some chairs. They close at 10pm on a Friday night, which felt absurdly early for a cocktail bar. But, we were able to order and drink one drink during the ~45 minutes we had. They closed up shop promptly at 10pm. They had a classics and a "rumors" section of the menu. I didn't think the signature drinks were overly unique, with classics like Paper Plane making that menu side. I had a pomegranate mojito which was good! Consensus was that the cocktails were good not exceptional, especially for the $16-17 price point. We ordered churros for the table which were a table favorite! I wouldn't go out of my way to come here again, but we enjoyed our time and could see this being a good option if you lived in the neighborhood and don't mind the early close hours.

The drinks were good, and they also have a solid selection of beer on tap. The food portion are a bit small imo but I will say the Mac and cheese was pretty darn tasty!

Came here for a date night, I got the Broiled Miso Salmon and one glass of wine and my partner got the Steak Frites and a coke. Our bill was $95! Ouch. The bad: If it were really really good I would be willing to pay for it, but I felt that the flavors in my dish, in salmon, carrot ginger sauce, and cauliflower, were whispering at best. I think the cauliflower could have used a sauce or been crispier, it just seemed boring and soggy. The steak and fries also came out cold :( my partner really knows his steaks and was not impressed, it was over cooked for medium rare and it had clearly been sitting too long. Not worth the $38! The good: The space itself is decorated really well, it's pretty dark but the theme comes together really nicely. I personally enjoyed the indie/pop music they had playing and it wasn't too loud. I really enjoyed the Chardonnay ($16) and they had a decent selection of wine but only a handful were by the glass. You can get glasses of by the bottle wines if you commit to getting at least two glasses though which is good to know. For me, the service really saved this review, our server was so nice and friendly, attentive but not overbearing. I would maybe grab a drink and an appetizer here sometime but will definitely hold out on dinner again until their prices chill or the food gets better. ‍ TLDR: Too expensive for the food quality

Fortunate to find two seats at the lovely bar; Myrial feels intimate no matter where you sit. St. Paul itself has an intimacy that makes the city feel perceptibly different from Minneapolis. While a warm welcome is not always integral to the Twin Cities, it's easier to break down that atavistic wall across the river. Alcohol had my flamboyant self making my presence known, and everyone behind the bar became a part of our evening. They were all good sports. Mixology and a curated wine list are part and parcel to Myrial's reputation, and we took advantage of its skills. Yet, the opening scene was simply a prelude to fantastic morsels that emerged from the kitchen. Myrial and Boucheron provided my best meals in the Twin Cities since we moved here. Everything tasted amazing. The menu changes, but the established greats remain. Along with most of their patrons, we loved the duck, Swedish waffles, and the Oyster mushrooms. At the end of the evening, I tipped the kitchen staff and hugged everyone, making them all feel uncomfortable. Too bad. I had a great time.

The evening wasn't just about food, it was about the experience we all shared . From the moment we were greeted at the door to the final goodbye, it was an encounter of excellence and care. Every detail a patron would want was covered in beautiful precision. The presentation, taste, servers, plating, dinner ware, ambiance, cards sent home with menu and procured tea..... wow This was an unforgettable experience and will go down for all of us as one of our favorite memories. Shout out to the dishwasher as well, we know a lot of those beautiful settings have to be hand washed. Those details matter, and we are so thankful. Thank you for blessing us and giving us a beautiful moment in life to reflect back on. We will be back

They have remodeled a little since the last time in and now there's lots of space and fun decor on the walls. The menu has something for everyone. O was also very excited to see a non-pork breakfast meat option on the menu. I ended up getting the breakfast burrito, while hubs had the special pancakes of the day, which were a strawberry and cream. The burrito was HUGE, but delicious. I also snagged a bite of the pancakes, which were also so good. Our server was so great, got us taken care of quickly and made great recommendations. Would highly recommend stopping by the Neighborhood Café!

They thought the pancakes were amazing, and the Cajun Breakfast is everything I wanted it to be and more. They use ground andouille sausage rather than diced rope sausage and it's just so much better. But honestly, I could have been happy just dipping the double buttered toast into the hollandaise for a whole meal. SO GOOD! And the service was impeccable - friendly and attentive despite how busy it was. Only thing that could use a little work is the seating- our booth was torn up badly and not even duct taped to smooth it out. Some repairs/updates would go a long way. But joints like this I don't judge the ambiance too harshly.
