Not honest. I needed a few lvt replaced. The owner told me it's been discontinued. I was able to buy the lvt from another local retailer as well as Wayfair.com. He's a bit pushy when it comes to sales as well. I did my entire house carpeting and lvt with this place. However I will not go back for future business. read more

They did a great job. Had a room with carpeting that the cats had ruined. They were able to remove and replace with LVP flooring. We had emptied as much of the furniture as we could, but still left the furniture there. They were able to move the furniture out of the way as need, including a piano. I recently had this company remove cherry flooring from my kitchen and install vinyl plank tile in its place. They also installed the vinyl plank in my sun/family room right over the hardwood. The owner was very knowledgeable about the product and wanted to make sure the surface he was putting the planks on would result in a beautiful look when completed. I am very happy with the finished product. My kitchen and sun room are so much brighter now and the installers worked efficiently and professionally getting a rather large job done in a single day! Very bad experience! First I got their ad in The HomeMag for hardwood flooring, which indicates free installation. I called them two weeks ago and the guy agreed that's the sales they have and was going to send someone to do an estimate. Never got a call back from him. I called twice again. finally got hold of him. He asks for $1000 for installation. before I even finished saying my words, he said "bye" and hang up the phone. read more

We engaged Select Carpet and Flooring to do wood flooring for our entire first floor. They were eager to get the job and delivered the flooring material, had it in the house for a few days to get it acclimated and installed the whole floor in two days. We noticed immediately that the floor was buckling in many places and contact them. The store manager came over after many days, inspected the floor and stated that it was clear that it was an installation issue and since we have 1 year warranty they will fix the issue for us immediately. He had also taken many pictures of the floor. More than a week goes by, I receive a call from the owner of the company who calls himself 'Fred' and tells me that he saw the pictures and he was sure that house has a moisture issue that caused the floor to buckle within two days of installation. I was shocked that this man could look at a picture and find out that there was a moisture issue in house. I immediately knew that he was trying to scam me and wiggle out of his warranty commitment by giving me crazy excuses. I challenged him and he then sends another installer to inspect the floor and the installer told us that the installation was botched completely and went back to report to the owner. I gave the owner more than two weeks to honor the warranty and fix the issue and he has done nothing. He refused to address the issue and honor his warranty and has left us in limbo. I am now taking legal action against them and am in talks with consumer awareness, consumer reports people and workers commission (to see if the use legal licensed installers etc..) to make sure this company and the owner does not cheat other customers. Please be careful when dealing with this company and do a lot of homework, they don't know how to install floors, totally irresponsible, unprofessional and don't honor their own warranty and given how my floor turned-out, they are probably using unqualified, potentially unlicensed installers to do the job. read more
