Wow!! I'd been here for pastries a couple times and loved them, but I couldn't believe how incredible the sandwiches are! I had the olive bread and it was so fresh and bursting with delicious olives. We happened to be in the neighborhood, looking for a quick lunch. We are so pleased we found Sena Cafe. It took a bit of detective work to locate, as it's on the first floor of an apartment building. Once inside the joy began. The food was delicious. My companion had the St. Louis Primo sandwich which was flavorful. It had a side vegetable salad that was delicious. I needed a birthday cake for a family party and the day I ordered it I was in a hurry and behind schedule so after I placed the order I left Sena Cafe without asking the price. My BIG mistake. The day of the party my husband and I, on our way to the party, we stopped by Sena to pick up the cake. The cake was to be three layers with two fillings topped with a milk chocolate topping. That was it. Nothing fancy. They brought the cake out in a box, it look fine. Then I asked the cost. I could not believe my ears. I was SHOCKED. The price was $77.70!!!! Holy Cow! So, be forewarned. We stumbled upon this place while staying on the IOP for our honeymoon. We loved it so much, we ate here almost every single day of our trip! Their baked goods are to die for!! We tried the German chocolate cake, mascarpone, strawberry shortcake, and several pie slices and they were all so good I couldn't choose a favorite. Their breakfast sandwich croissants are buttery, flaky, cheesy and oh so good. We loved their coffee drinks as well; they're strong! We spoke to the baker, and he was such a kind man who has an inspiring passion for making tasty desserts. We will definitely miss having regular access to this spot but will definitely revisit every time we come back for vacation. read more

My daughter and her friend and I wanted to try a new breakfast spot by the beach and this place had so many good reviews we decided to try it. The girls had the avacado bruschetta which the teens both loved and I had the breakfast croissant with an iced mocha. Such great portions and the coffee was a perfect balance of coffee and mocha. This is probably one of the best cafés I've been to lately. reminds me of Europe has a European flair the lady working at the register was very pleasant we ordered our food I had a lobster roll my wife had smoked salmon sandwich . Few minutes later the chef came out and asked us if food please our expectations . Very very good and quality of product the hell I'm going to be for sure back. Adorable find! I had the mozzarella and sun dried tomato sandwich. The artisan roll it was on was soft and fresh. I liked the very slight hint of garlic in the oil dressing used. It was faint as not offend people later but present enough to enjoy. In addition, the small kale salad that accompanied it was delicious! I also had the Napoleon which was flaky and very tasty. I am giving this three stars because the owners / staff were incredibly kind to me and my party, letting us try samples, discounting items, and going the extra mile to ensure a good dining experience, though unfortunately their coffee fell short of their wonderful service. I feel that I could go down the road to the Circle K and have better drip coffee than they provided in their latte, that being said nearly everything on the menu was placed at a very reasonable price. I got exactly what I paid for and I really have no reason to believe that Sena Cafe isn't worth a try. It was definitely a one time experience for me but I say give it a try and let that determine what you think. read more
