This is an amazing cafe. It is a hidden gem and a great place to catch up with friends. The food is amazing and the coffee is great. It gets busy so be patient and wait as it is well worth the wait. The owners are amazing and everyone is so nice that works there and comes there to enjoy the service. Definitely worth a return trip and a letter home :) ordered the Avocado bruschetta, croissant sandwich, chocolate croissant, and a few different lattes and caramel macchiato both hot and iced. Latte was great! Perfect blend of coffee and steamed milk without overkilling the froth. Now lets talk about the bruschetta- AMAZING! Flavor of the cheese, tomatoes and perfectly ripe avocado blended so well together. The bruschetta was not as crisp as typically expected and WOW was that a pleasant surprise. I love bruschetta but have issues with very sensitive skin in my mouth that gets torn up. This was perfectly toasted but soft inside and soooo good!!! Didn't destroy my mouth with the same amazing taste and yumminess. Oh and the waffle... lets just say that thing didnt last on the plate long! Perfect consistency and again whoever toasts/turns/monitors their cooking is the BEST. Not sure if they make their own cream because it was finger licking yummy! read more

This was my first visit to Sena's Cafe and what a pleasant surprise. My friend & I were promptly greeted. The menu items were numerous and all very interesting. We decided on the Lobster Roll and the spicy chicken wrap. Both sandwich's were delicious and I would order again. We had a glass of wine and was able to enjoy the outside seating area. Prices are very reasonable and portions are ample. The desserts all looked incredible plus they are all made in-house. We decided on the Carrot Cake. I highly recommend when you visit. Sena's is owned by a husband & wife who see to every detail from breakfast items, coffee & teas to late afternoon menu items. I strongly suggest to support a family owned local business in Mt. You seriously need to try this place out. I have a certain taste and expectation for service and food quality. I tend to shy away from chain restaurants and prefer privately owned establishments that bring their own uniqueness to "the table." That being said, some deliver, and some don't. Though there are a large number of places in the Mount Pleasant area that offer quality, Sena Café stands the tallest amongst them. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is bright and cheery, and the owners know me by name. I get the same reception here as I would going to a friend's house for dinner. I go here every morning, but it's not just for the food, it's to see Ogi, Sena, and the family. So go sit down, have a cup of coffee and some avocado bruschetta. Or if it's night time, try the house red with the octopus salad, it's all fresh and amazing! read more

A group of us got together outside to eat and make art. the owners were very welcoming and warm to us!! Awesome Croatian style cafe!! I love the owners, they're extremely nice hospitable people that actually care about their business and are in there every-single-day to make sure it runs correctly. The coffee is by far the best in Mount Pleasant, the pastries are unparalleled, and the sandwiches and meals are incredible!! I personally stick to a Keto diet and they're one of very few restaurants that not only accommodates that but makes some insane recipes!! Every thing you could ever ask for in a Coffee Shop and Cafe. Started out with, Keto Cado, a clever take that was deliciously done. My wife and daughter both had the croissant with egg, bacon and cheese, absolutely amazing and my other daughter had the pesto panini, which was equally as good. The coffee was prefectures balanced and the lattes masterfully crafted. This is a family run restaurant and the whole crew was there doing their part. You can tell by the flavors they put their heart into their food. Some of the friendliest folks around - and the desserts WOW. By far the best Baklava I have ever had, hands down - and I've hand Baklava in some pretty awesome places. This stuff could easily stand up to the finest chefs. I could go on and on, but if your near Mt Pleasant, it is worth the drive. Sit back and just enjoy, what a true restaurant experience should be. read more

Wow!! I'd been here for pastries a couple times and loved them, but I couldn't believe how incredible the sandwiches are! I had the olive bread and it was so fresh and bursting with delicious olives.
