Breakfast food favorite! Andrew was our server. Not only was he personable, he gave great recommendations!!! Very prompt service too. Absolutely loved the Blood Marys! We had the Classic and the Diablo. The corned beef with eggs was amazing and the beignets were delicious with the fruit compote. I would definitely recommend a brunch or breakfast. The food was fantastic!!
From the minute we were greeted at the entrance, we knew this experience would be phenomenal. Dejaniece was so vibrant and welcoming and asked us about our travels. We were then handed off to our server Vickie who was also a hoot! The food and drinks were delicious and I wish I lived closer to experience this more frequently!
We absolutely love Toast for a friends get together brunch. They have great service and are always accommodating. Some of their menu options and mimosas for the table are fantastic. We have never had a bad option! Mount Pleasant has grown so much in recent years and I would say if you are a tourist or not from the area this is the place to visit for a wonderful breakfast. Locals know local spots, but as a local that grew up here I also love this location. So take it from me that it is worth a visit!
Oooooh this was a rough one. A friend of mine organized a birthday brunch for my brother and his GF for maybe 12 of us. I actually went to the other Mt Pleasant Toast by accident and found it packed with a wait. I figured I'd see the same thing here, but there was only a few tables which was surprising for a Sunday at prime brunch time. When I did arrive our group was hanging at the bar while they were getting the table together. We sat down and right away the guy serving us said he would start with everyone's food orders because people had drinks from the bar and then he would come back for drinks. I've never seen anyone do something like that. A few people had drinks, but some did not (like myself who had just walked in). Someone didn't hear and tried to order a drink and he shut her down and said he was only doing food at the moment... insane. One guy had to leave and paid for his tab and the three people next to him before he left. I ordered a pitcher of Mimosas and didn't even get it until after my food came out. Speaking of which, as he came to the table with food, he was just calling out names of dishes and setting them down in front of people. Things were wrong and instead of apologizing he muttered things under his breath to talk down on our group. The food did come out quickly, but everything was bland. The grits were downright embarrassing to be served in the south. This guy was one of the worst servers I've ever encountered. He was wildly rude and just doesn't even belong in the industry if that's how his is on a regular basis. To finish things up, we started getting checks. We reminded our server that the guy who left paid for a few peoples tabs. He didn't believe us and had a manager come over who eventually figured it out. The girl who rang him out was actually the hostess (she had a handheld credit card machine at the table so we didn't realized she wasn't one of our servers). The hostess then left without telling anyone that 4 people were already paid for. It was only resolved with multiple phone calls and getting the guy on the phone and verifying the charge on his bank account. The manager was very nice and she was really trying to turn our celebration around. She got us a round of shots before we left and her personality was the only reason I would consider coming back after the experience we had with our server.
Toast All Day was a nice brunch spot for a dreary Sunday afternoon. Our group started with the Beignets and "Pig Candy" (candied bacon). The Beignets were pretty standard, nothing new, but even average Beignets are delicious. The Pig Candy was great, sweet and savory with a little spice. For my meal, I had the Caroline omelette, which was also pretty average. I wish the egg and cheese had more flavor, but the home fries made up for it. The crispiest home fries I've had in awhile, everyone in the group were big fans. I also tried a bit of the Biscuits & Gravy my sister ordered, and they were also great, even if we didn't have the appetite to finish them off. It wasn't particularly busy, but the service was still sort of slow. They seemed to be training people while we were there, so that may have been why. Our waitress was super friendly though, and once our food order got in, everything came out quick. The interior of the restaurant is the typical modern breakfast joint style, but clean and well-kept.
The absolute best thing about our first experience at Toast! All Day was our server Andrew He was attentive, helpful, and kind. Our food came out quickly and our orders were correct. The stuffed French toast was delicious but rich! The chicken biscuit sounded better on the menu description than it actually was. The chicken and waffles was pretty good. I think you can't go wrong with the benedicts. The pimento cheese lacked flavor and seasoning but the pita chips were yummy. The beignets were ok but a little too greasy. The plain French toast was delicious, as well as the turkey sausage. I think the atmosphere is welcoming and everything was clean but you just have to know which items to order.
Put this on your list of places to go in Charleston! Has a great menu, representative of the best of southern ingredients and cooking! We had an excellent brunch, the Bloody Mary's were spot on (kicked up as requested) Shrimp and Grits and Eggs Benedict over crab cake and fried green tomatoes were all perfectly cooked, seasoned and presented! We had amazing service - even though they were busy and there was a bit of a wait to order, the food came out quick!
Toast all day has an amazing happy hour! They have great deals on apps and drinks! The deviled eggs are the best that i have had in a long time! They have moved into the beautiful space that was the Granary. They have their breakfast all day menu and the typical menu from the other restaurants. The service was good, and they did ask that I write a Yelp review. I look forward to returning and having breakfast soon!
Greeted as we walked in and seated immediately. Our server Tia welcomed us and took our orders. We came early enough to beat the crowds making it quiet and enjoyable. Our brunch came out piping hot and perfect. So delicious. I had the yummy Reuben and fresh fruit. My companion made the Bull St burger Gluten Free by omitting the bun. She ate half as breakfast and cut up the other half on her salad Genius! I love a hamburger salad. Definitely a great meeting place for friends and family. Let's start with my husband's comment. "It was like an IHOP". Very basic breakfast. We had a traditional breakfast and the brioche French toast. The French toast was missing flavor and needed like a fruit compote to elevate the dish. The traditional was nothing special. I was expecting better quality bacon at least for a $16 plate. We came for brunch and our server was great. I ordered the corned beef hash and eggs, hubs got the classic breakfast with bacon, and an order of the power plate to go for my daughter. The corned beef was good but not the best. I think I needed more hash to balance all the corned beef. Hubs breakfast was basic and he enjoyed it. The power plate was not what I expected. It was eggs, spinach thrown on top, a couple of sausage, and a biscuit. I imagined a scramble but this was eggs with fresh spinach thrown on top. Not very good and disappointing. Overall a decent breakfast but maybe try something else. Staff was friendly and welcoming. read more

Stuffed French Toast We came all the way from AL, MD, and VA., to see what all the fuss was about, well we left FUSSING! There is only one star, because none was not an option... Quaint place, hopefully we were just a victim of COVID, understaffing etc. Lets get to the TOAST! French toast was mediocre at best... the stuffed French Toast was not stuffed or hot! It was a 1/2 loaf of non toasted brioche bread, with canned apples on top. The grits were cold and watery, eggs were cold. Oyster eggs Benedict was warm. The mimosas were cold and good , but brought with them a slew of fruit flies that quickly shooed us out the door. read more

When I tell you, the people like to eat breakfast in Charleston, SC and will wait however long to get it... I mean it! Toast All Day should be called Tasty All Day, this food is freaking incredible! When you look up local brunch places in the area, this is one of the ones that pop up because the food is so good! Even with the wait, I could tell the food was good because the others waiting were just happy and ready to go in. My best friend and I were hungry and also couldn't decide on the many different options on the menu, so we both ordered two entrees (WORTH IT!!). Since it was a limited item I had to try the Flat Iron Breakfast Burrito and my other entree was the Cornbeef Hash and Eggs. He ordered the Deluxe Stuff French Toast double and the Toast Classic Breakfast (sorry no picture for this one). The portions are generous for sure and the flavor is our of this world! I don't know who the chef is, but he was doing his thing in the kitchen. Every bite had flavor and from the way my friend ate the French toast, you could tell it was flavorful as well! This place will make you understand why breakfast is the most important meal of the day... and if it doesn't, go again and try something else on the menu! read more

Last time I was here was before they changed the menu and I wasn't the biggest fan. With the new menu, I think it's fantastic! Plenty of options, I took friends from out of town here and they loved it! The decor is great and it's nice and cool in here. They had a wait but it was easy to get on the waitlist (on Yelp or in the restaurant) and see exactly where you were in line! The eggs Benedict looked so fluffy and amazing! And I had chicken and waffles with the most amazing chicken! The only downside was the waffle was a little undercooked. They were extremely busy so I understand some things get overlooked. I would definitely come back here again and try the lunch or dinner menu as well! read more

Beignets hit the spot if you have a craving. Love that you can get carafes of mimosas, staff was friendly. The chicken biscuit was okay. Chicken was flavorful, a little stringy, biscuit was delicious. I'd choose flying biscuit or pages over this though. read more

Food was good, eggs were fluffy but the waffle was not the best it was hard to cut and had an almost stale taste to it. The service was great. Our waiter was very sweet and our food didn't take along time to arrive. The decor was cute in the restaurant. Overall I would recommend this restaurant if you're in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way to try it. read more

So I'm going to agree with the majority of the reviews. This place lands a solid "just ok". It wasn't bad by far, it just didn't hit the spot so to speak. The waffle was good. Not too sweet. Tasty. Warm by the time I got it though. Eggs had to be re-scrambled because they came out runny. Sausage was bland. He says the biscuits and gravy were tasty. The stuffed French toast, not so much. The edges were tough. However, our home fries came out cold and the manager (who brought the food to our table) immediately let me know she already had fresh ones coming out. Our waitress was very prompt and patient as I had a lot of questions. Judge for yourself on this one. read more

Enjoyed breakfast here before going to Magnolia Plantation. We really liked the vibe of this place. Great service, all of the staff did a great job, especially our server. The hubs had pancakes & bacon. Which he enjoyed. The server brought softened butter, which was perfect for spreading. I ordered a pecan waffle with bacon. We both agreed that the bacon was some of the best we've had in a long time. Both meals were good! It made for a great start to the day. read more

Great breakfast!! Highly recommend coming early before the crowds start coming. Had one of their famous omelets with a huge buttermilk biscuit that went super well with the Starbucks coffee I grabbed before heading off to the restaurant. Great service. There's a reason this restaurant has been recognized as one of the best breakfasts in the country! read more

Blown away for a chain. Great service, atmosphere, and food. Omelettes were loaded. I could not get enough of the home fries with melted cheese on them! Definitely worth a stop! My omelet was loaded with crab, shrimp, mushrooms, and cheese. My BF had cheese, bacon, and ham in his! When I say loaded- I mean overflowing! read more
