Ah... I have such a love-hate relationship with Seniore's Pizza. In a world where the only other main delivery pizza in Berkeley is the often-unreliable Dominos on University, Seniore's is a definite bright spot. First, what I love. The Hawaiian Special pizza is one of the best Hawaiian pizzas that I've ever had, and the California Chicken Pizza is one of the best delivery pizzas that I've ever gotten, period. The Deep-Fried Oreos are one of my favorite things in the world, and the garlic cheesy bread is great, but only if you have a crowd, cause it is a huge order. As for the cons of Seniore's... The delivery time/reliability. It's awful. I've never had a pizza delivered in 45 minutes, and most of the time, it is 1:15+. A handful of times, it has been upwards of two hours, and I've had to call to ensure that it is actually coming. If they fix this, that would make seniore's the best delivery food in all of Berkeley. read more

Shout out to the super helpful and cheerful squad at SP. Someone ordered a Chicken/Pepperoni/Pesto but didn't collect it, but the cashier recommended it for $8.84. One of the best meals of my life, and here's wishing that SO keeps up this great service for the rest of my Cal days! read more

The cashier barely spoke English. I order 2 separate orders of the two slice plus drink combos with a chicken topping. They gave me two slices of combo with added chicken and charged me $14 and would not correct my order after receiving the wrong order. read more

visiting Berkeley, CA from Las Vegas and it's hard to readjust to everything not being open 24 hrs. it was a miracle for this place to be open late, deliver and be amazing! first the guy that answered the phone was very polite and then we were able to make the order conveniently thru yelp eat24. the delivery arrived right at the time given. the driver was friendly. and the pizza.... wow we devoured it! the flavor of the sauce and the crust was amazing. the medium was the perfect size for two! Im a berkeley student who has been here for three years and i can say this place tops every restaurant in berkeley! It tops sliver and cheeseboard! It is amazing! It's great that seniores is open late. Unfortunately thats where the good things end. We ordered buffalos wing and garlic bread. The garlic bread was decent but oh jeezus the buffalo wings were uneatable. They were beyond salty. My friend and I ate one wing a piece and washed it down with 2 bottles of water. I came here a couple nights ago and ordered a meat lovers pizza and waited an hour for my pizza. Typically, their food is excellent but for some reason they slipped up. I'm from New York and we don't play that. After waiting for so long I lost my appetite and had to set them straight - I told them "fuck you guys" and stormed off. Wonderful service and great staff. Pizza is well worth the price the slices are robust and fresh. I would personally try the specialty stuff since they have some really good combination. There's usually always coupons so look for those. Will definitely come again in the future, best berkeley slices so far. read more

Wow -- this is one experience that helps me learn how to read between the lines on Yelp. As in: this place is right next to the UC campus, and I should have known better than to trust college students for a review of pizza. Bottom line: this is absolutely some of the worst food I've had in years. The pizza itself is about 3:1 bread to toppings (I had the Hawaiian pizza) -- it's hard to taste anything other than the tasteless crust. Ecch. I can't even describe the wings -- hard to tell if they were meat or some other substance. At least the delivery guy was nice, but in a town with so many great pizza places, how could anyone even think of eating here? Workers constantly mess up your order and obviously don't care about their customers.

Holy smokes this is probably some of the worse pizza I have had. Pretty bummed to say this as they were cool enough to deliver to us at about 2 am, which is why we went with them as they were the only pizza joint open. The pizza was greasy, doughy, not cut well and thoroughly. For $20+ I was hoping for something better. The pictures made this spot look much more appealing than it tasted. read more

seniors pizza have a good pizza... however I did an order to delivery and my pizza took an hour to get there and the guy who brought the pizza and soft drinks just said he dropped the coke and.. that is it... he didn't mentioned anything to solve my problem.. and I know I am thirsty ! Always been pleased with the pizza. The delivery is free and tends to take about an hour no matter how far away you live. Can't complain because it is free. Just keep that in mind while ordered. I like the online ordering option. Good pizza delivery place in my opinion. read more

First time ordering from Seniore's. I ordered the fingerlickin pizza and the fried Oreos. Both items are mentioned several times in reviews as being favorites. First, I ordered at 11:30am on a Monday which isn't a busy time for customers. I was quoted 45 minutes which surprised me because it wasn't the evening or weekend. Ultimately, the delivery took an hour. I wondered if they waited for more orders to come in so the delivery guy could make multiple stops. I live approximately 10minutes from the place. Second, the food arrived warm not hot. Third, my review of the fingerlickin pizza is that it is average at best. The ingredients did not taste fresh which could've been because it didn't arrive hot, however, I don't think that was the problem. Thank god I only ordered the three piece fried Oreos because those arrived over-cooked and almost burnt (very browned). They definitely didn't live up to the hype people claim here in their reviews. Their pricing isn't the cheapest nor the most expensive a medium for $14.99 plus tax. I believe delivery is a small fee as well but not entirely sure. I guess people like that they deliver so late into the evening but that isn't enough reason for me to order again from there. read more

I normally don't write reviews but I just had to this time! We were starving so I called and asked for the largest pizza they had. FYI that size is called the GODZILLA. We ordered the El Camino...I highly recommend that one :)) They were so friendly, fast and freakin delicious. Seriously can't believe how good the price was for being that huge and tasty. After acknowledging the error that they made, they proceeded to give me a long, cold, death stare. At one point I thought they would throw in free dipping sauce or, at the very least, apologize. I called, Jessica answered and proceeded to ask me the option of pickup or delivery, I requested delivery and she proceeded to voice displeasure and unreasoning which was odd. She hung up on me twice when I tried to order, TWICE. She seemed to be very disinterested and was recognized to me as extremely terrible customer service. I mean who hangs up on a customer? I ordered delivery of chicken the other day and it was delicious. after that i was convinced it was a great place to eat at. But when the other day, my mom was in town, I decided to take her here to have the chicken baskets, however to my surprise this visit would confirm to me, to never step foot into this establishment ever again. Me and my family waited for no less than 45 minutes for our order(arrived at 8:13pm, received food at 9:05 pm). We saw people come in, order, and leave with their food, as we waited and waited to receive ours. The cooks were completely rude to us when we politely would ask how much longer it might be, and I believe they on purpose made our food so spicy that we could barely even eat our food (although when I ordered delivery, the chicken was not spicy). I ended up having to throw away my food as it was inedible due to the spiciness. I left feeling so guilty to have brought my family here, and to watch them for nearly an hour, being hungry and feeling insulted by the treatment we received that night. I ask of the owner of this establishment to please reach out to me so I could tell you in more detail our experience. I wont be going back to eat here for the time being. read more

HORRIBLE! Their employee Patty feels the need to argue and call their loyal customers liars among other things. I've had numerous issues with her and not once has she handled the situation in a professional and courteous matter. They have repeatedly delivered up to 3 hours late just to argue with Patty about how I didn't answer my phone when I never received any calls or a text from the driver until 3am. Today was the last straw when I placed a pick up (for obvious reasons). When I showed up Patty was there to say I never called. She then proceeded to have me show her my call logs before I could resubmit my order. Asking to show my personal phone logs is completely unprofessional and uncalled for. Patty did not even have the courtesy to apologize for the inconvenience. Needless to say this location does not value their customers nor do they know the value of providing customer service. They will never get business from me or anyone else I know! read more
