I really appreciated that they give you tools to break up the crab especially the scissors that are actually sharp and work! The waitress was attentive the whole time, bathrooms were clean, and I really appreciated how mindful the staff was with my deaf friend. That always stands out to me. The calamari was okay. Last time I came with a friend they were completely out of lemons, so I was glad that wasn't an issue this time. I'd probably try something different instead of the calamari next visit though. We got the Pier 88 combo crab boil with the "All of the Above" seasoning in mild. It came out super quick and was very well seasoned. I personally thought it leaned a little salty, but I also saw other tables adding extra salt to their food, so I guess it just depends on your taste. Portions were good and everything tasted delicious. Very kid-friendly spot, pretty loud and lively inside, and honestly a great place for hosting bigger groups, family get-togethers, or even just catching up with a friend over drinks and seafood. We split a seafood andouille gumbo. They had Parmesan garnished on my food and were able to accommodate my dairy allergy! Super glad it wasn't an issue. The manager came to make sure I was pleased. Big ones I'm guessing Louisiana oysters, small one I have no idea. I kid you not small ones looked like ones you get at cheap Chinese buffet. For how much you got the price you pay was beyond me. I think maybe 15 bux might have been OK. Rest of the dishes were pretty good but when I saw my dish I was confused. I had to look at the menu to see if I made the right order. Looked at the picture I took 11 months ago and verified I orders the same dish. I know cost of things have gotten up and some times you have to decide keep the price same and give smaller portion or raise the price.. Well I would have preferred either or. Not the dish I got which looked and tasted like, keep the same peice, add more pasta, put less seafood. I've been to a handful of the their restaurants in Cali and Vegas and unfortunately, this location is not as good as the Vegas locations that I frequently visit. Service was ok. He was nice. My daughter tried to order a margarita but was told they ran out of tequila the night before. Next, I wanted a glass of Cabernet and was told they didn't have any but they did have Merlot. Food: Crab Legs- Hot & Juicy Sauce add corn, sausage and egg. Garlic Noodles And my family order combo seafood boil and appetizers. The crab legs were yummy. I always enjoy the sauce. I love when the legs have a lot of meat and you can break it without splitting it in half. But this was not the case. Sigh... not sure if the legs were overcooked. Nevertheless, the sauce saved it. My first time trying the garlic noodles. I've never seen it on the menu so it must be new. Overall, I'd still visit all Hot & Juicy Restaurants. The sauce is what sets them apart.

Shrimp cocktail-absolute perfection, ratio of shrimp to veggies is perfect. The juice itself is so flavorful and no additions are needed. The fish tacos are amazing and fresh to order. Second lane was not being used but cars kept entering and then having to back up, most left completely after that situation. After about 20-25 minutes in line, I finally got up to the speaker. An automated male voice asked what I wanted. As I was ordering, a grumpy female voice said I needed to wait. I waited, both cars in front left. I still waited and waited. Finally, she took my order even though she was unclear and spoke way too much and too fast. The bad speaker didn't help. Had trouble explaining they had no regular butter, then she had issues understanding which butter I then requested. It took several attempts to get it right. Took a while to figure out the cost (on a computer?), and she quoted a price that was way too much for the order. The computer charged $1 more for the lobster rolls than the price on the wall near the speaker. The salad wasn't the $5 chicken salad they promote either. They refused to honor the lobster roll price on the wall which was a dollar less each than what their computer said. The worker said she couldn't change the price, only a higher up could. I told her I would wait while she called the higher up. I waited and waited again. Quite a few cars left the drive through due to the wait time and no movement of the line. The prices on the menu on the wall were changed previously with Dyno labels. You can see the tape covering older prices and stating what's unavailable. They couldn't do that again easily? Really? Angie's refused to honor the price clearly shown on their wall. What do you call it when they charge you more than the sticker price? Is this bait and switch? Does it sound like business fraud? I believe so. I was told the computer pricing was changed but the signage was not yet changed. Why not, if it meant printing out labels and affixing? I asked specifically if they were not honoring the posted price. They said no, they weren't offering that price. They told me to call corporate. No apology. Nothing. Nope, just reviewing and posting social media. I ended up driving away after wasting about 45 minutes on nonsense. The so-so food's not worth the aggravation. I noticed too that some past offerings were no longer available. Shame on Angie's! Should I call the AZ attorney general's office about the probable fraud? Horrible customer service and wait times in a hot long drive through. Never again.
