Fortunately, Sierra from corporate reached out after I raised concerns. They were very kind, professional, and apologetic, and helped us mediate the issue. That effort and understanding meant a lot and helped turn the situation around. I hope the company can kind John a different role that does not require him to interact with customers.

The guy put down what he was doing and immediately walked me outside to handle the situation. He filled up both tanks and asked me if I wanted to Pay at the pump. I said, "sure, save me a trip inside." He took out a cell phone, got my card, entered the info, and asked me if I wanted a receipt. I declined the offer. He thanked me, I thanked HIM, and I left. That transaction took all of about Nine or Ten minutes and I was on my way to light up my patio heaters. Great Service, Great Location, (four minutes from my home). Apparently if they have staff they don't require them to answer the door, so my husband went home and called, it took about 2 hours to talk to the right person who told us that there is an error they didn't have the unit we had asked for and they shouldn't have charged me $92 as advertised on line but rather $134. I decided to find a more affordable facility I found a more affordable unit at extra space on Auburn two month ago I rented a unit for $317 on top of which you pay a mandatory insurance and tax which brought it up to 364.30 which wasn't disclosed enter into the agreement, by the way it was an agreement. so now two months later I'm getting a notice in the mail of a rent increase to 450.30 this kind of slimy greedy business practice has become common they aren't enough people saying I'm done with getting gouged. I'm done with being raked over the Coles taking advantage of because of corporate greed. The only reason is there is two stars. It's because of Vincent, who works at the office. Furthermore, there are NO cameras in the halls of the non-climate controlled area, making it extremely easy for thieves to conceal their actions. In the case of the burglary to my unit, Management and Police have been unhelpful so far. Avoid all of the time and money spent getting your stuff back and rent elsewhere, at least at a place with cameras inside the facility.

Upon moving out of my unit, I was informed they "do not prorate the bill on the way out, just on…read morethe way in." So in other words, they are charging for a period of 23 days of this month without providing any services. That is theft and it's disgusting. It's my money for 23 days in exchange for nothing. It's also a conscious, calculated business choice. Their calculation can factor in 1-star reviews, then. I urge all Trojan storage users to give 1-star reviews for this this reason. The employee that informed me of this theft asked "is that ok?" lol. No, it's very not ok. But of course, her hands are tied and she can't do anything about it, because it's an on-purpose, calculated, anti-consumer policy. A remedy would be as follows: 1) refund the money stolen from me for these 23 days, 2) change the policy for all Trojan Storage users so that you no longer charge for services that aren't even rendered (in other words, you need to pro-rate on the way out), and 3) issue a public apology for this embarrassingly grotesque, greedy behavior.
