WOW!! I absolutely loved this place! The lady was so friendly and helped me find what I was having for lunch. I told her I liked spicy thing and clearly we have two different spicy levels, the food was amazing! I had the Korean Ramen and it definitely had a kick! I also had the chicken dumplings which was a perfect start to lunch. And since I wanted to treat myself I had the Green Tea cheesecake which was delicious! I'm definitely adding this to one of my favorites list!

While visiting our daughter we stopped here for dinner, We found this location just by walking around the historic area. Boys were attracted to the display outside of the ramen noodles which is in a very giant bowl. Even sitting in the restaurant, they continue to talk about the giant bowl of ramen. The staff was friendly and helpful. And the food was good, based off of what we ordered it seems like my husband's dish was the best. He kept raving about the sauce. I had the rice cake noodle soup with the wontons, it was on the blander side but good. All the dishes were a large portion so it is easy to get full here. The boys had the Japanese Chicken nuggets they didn't seem to like them but before van adult could try them, my three year old accidentally spilled his lemonade in the dish.

I was frustrated with the service. First he forgot to bring is menus after seating is, then forgot to check on us the restaurant of the night. But the food... wow was it good. Totally recommend!! The hot and spicy rice soup was awesome and so much food i oboe ate about 1/2!!

We went on Mother's Day and thankfully it wasn't too busy. The food was tasty and served quickly, they accommodated us and changed out the pork for chicken on our ramen. It's a small cute place that feels comfy and classy when you walk in, don't let the outside appearance deter you!

Crispy oysters to go. Delicious, wonderfully breaded, and healthy sized oysters. Served with a delicious dipping sauce and delicately shredded, fresh, crisp, and slightly sweet carrots. Adorable decor. Such a welcoming and warm environment. Can't wait to return for a sit down experience!

Like Jisoo of Blackpink once said, "Not bad but not good." The soups weren't bad but the kimchi pancake and fried rice was not worth it. I wouldn't even define their kimchi pancake as a kimchi pancake. I also would like to add that this doesn't feel or taste like Korean food at all, maybe one could call it Korean fusion. Fried rice is literally rice fried with some sauce. Not enough ingredients in the rice to truly be fried rice. The fried chicken was good. The overall portions aren't bad.

The food itself isn't terrible, but it's difficult to fully enjoy if you actually know what Korean food is supposed to be like. The staff didn't seem very familiar with the dishes -- even basic things like whether a dish should be eaten with a spoon or chopsticks were unclear. Only the bowls and presentation look Korean.

We went to the hot pot location-- tho we do love dim sum! But this one was close by and we were hungry!! The food was tasty. We sat upstairs because it's a small place and the downstairs tables were full. We still got great service. The black garlic ramen and the yaki udon were stand outs.

Seated quickly. The resturant is decorated very cute. I had the Korean beef ramen and it was good! Huge portion and came with 2 sides.

ETang - hot pot / two locations on Whittaker one for dim sum and one for hot pot. Check menus and locations to be sure which you would like it can get confusing when adding to the gps. Server was attentive & seating was open availability as it wasn't too busy the night we went.

Food was excellent! Owner (manager?) was there and attentive. It was nice, clean restaurant. I can't wait to go back to try more!

We were looking for something…read morecasual but filling for dinner and because we had not tried out this place yet but had driven by several times, we decided to check it out. Definitely a great decision on a hunch. This is an all you can eat hot pot concept and frankly my first time attending this version. While I have visited hibachi restaurants in the past, this is not that. Basically this is a dual table side prep concept where you can either make your own custom soups and broths, and hot pot seafood or you can select the grill and grill of a variety of fresh meats and fish and vegetables, or you can get both. Both come with a small dessert bar and seem to be accompanied with the additional Fresh salad and sauce bar, although I'm not quite sure if one of those may have been restricted if you did the grill only or the hot pot only. Pricing is pretty fair at about $30 a person which rises to mid 30s if you decide to get both options. We went with the combo because we had never tried this concept before, but in the future, I may lean more towards the grill option only. Especially if I'm not in the mood for hot pot or soup. But I definitely enjoyed the combination choice for our first visit. The meat and vegetable selections at this restaurant are pretty vast and this is after the server first sets you up and allows you to pick from several different types of broth for your hot pot. In addition, they have a sauce bar that must've had 20+ sauces available to choose from. I think one of the most overwhelming aspects of this concept is lack of familiarity with the right combinations of hot pot and grilled options. For this we leaned heavily on our server and she did a great job of guiding us through a couple of her favorite combinations, as well as some of the favorite combinations of other patrons. This was really helpful because there isn't a menu or chart to help you unlock all of the really cool combinations that you can put together including Ramen udon and Thai soup varieties. All of the ingredients you need to make any of those dishes, but in your own customize version, are here to your heart's desire. Service is really good as they do switch out the grills rather rapidly as they will get charred and start to burn and smoke after three or four rounds of fresh meats and veggies slapped on them. However, they do not switch out your broth choice so once you make your choice, that's what you're rolling with for the rest of the dinner. All in all we were really satisfied with the freshness and the preparation of most of the ingredients and sauces. I did think the dessert bar was a little weak given the multitude of options elsewhere, but I also understand that this is consistent with the cultural preferences, which don't skew as heavy on traditional sweets, like American taste do. All in all this is definitely a treat for those looking for a great date night or just looking to take the family out for a really engaging and tasty cook at your table experience - all you can eat style!

The ambiance was quiet and really enjoyable--perfect for a relaxed meal. The broth could use a bit more flavor overall, but the spicy one was definitely the standout. Service, though busy, was very attentive. Just a quick wave of the hand and they were in motion. Very professional and represented their establishment well. The in table grill was not the best I've seen, I prefer a mesh grate that allows more of the flame to directly touch the meat, but it worked well enough once we cranked up the heat to get some caramelization. My coworker had never had KB so we went simple with the Bulgagi beef and pork. The beef was very good, but the pork was outstanding. Both were expertly prepped in paper thin, small slices just big enough to make them easy to cook but not so big you spent a lot of time with the scissors. Wonderfully seasoned, these two items alone would make a destination menu. Broth cabbage and cucumber kimchi were on point, well spiced and the perfect textures. Daikon radish was very good as well, crisp and the perfect balance between sweet and sour. Well worth the price, excellent quality and flavors, very good service....you won't be sorry you chose Bewon.

The Galbi lunch special was loaded with onions & broccoli & too sweet for our liking. We had the dumpling & rice cake noodle soup, again loaded with veggies (green onions, mushrooms, cabbage). The soon tofu soup was loaded with tiny diced zucchini & green onions again, I have had many version & typically can tolerate a good amount of green onions but this was too much. Barely 3 clams & two tiny shrimp. Ambiance is typical of an Asian fusion. I typically like veggies a lot but even I thought it was overwhelming all the dishes.

I will preface this with telling you, I have high expectations of any Korean food I eat. I grew up on home cooked Korean food and I love it. I know when I find the real thing and when I find the cheap knock offs. I will say when I walked in and called out a annyeonghaseyo and the server looked at me confused, I almost turned tail. I'm glad I stuck it out though. Food--9.5/10. To start, the drink selection is very limited. They do offer some Korean drinks but very limited on them and any other beverage. That's the only detriment I had to this meal. The mandu was fantastic crisp on the outside juicy and flavorful inside. Just the perfect yaki mandu. The dolsot bibimbap was top notch. It came out blazing hot and sizzling and given I have hearing issues that even I could hear a bit of the sizzle tells you it was really sizzling. So when you dig down into the bottom, there's that gorgeous crispy rice at the base of the dish. It came out with four perfect banchan. The kimchi was delightful and well fermented. The potato is always one of my favorite and I adored it. The oi kimchi was so crunchy and tangy and the little shredded cabbage with what tasted like a gochujang mayo was simple but delightful and had me wanting more. If I had one complaint aside from the limited beverages is that I like my bibimbap sauce to be a bit more tangy and a larger amount. Regardless, I'll be paying them a visit again very soon because there are so many amazing authentic Korean dishes on their menu that I can't wait to try. I only wish I lived closer. Service--8/10. The young lady who was serving was very attentive. That being said my only thing lacking is it was only her and as several more people arrived, she was less able to attend to the customers. She was very nice, polite and served as quick as she could, but as I said more people came in as my meal progressed, and I would've liked to have been able to ask for a little more bibimbap sauce. Ambiance--8/10. The exterior of the building leaves a lot to be desired. It's a very small strip of shops with very limited parking. However, where the exterior is lacking the interior is pleasant, clean and inviting. All in all, I would be back over and over again if I lived in the area and if you're in Savannah and you like Asian food and you have not tried this, you are missing out.
