I came in to pick up a phone order. I called it in and they said it would be ready in half an hour. So I drive over half an hour later and they said it would be about 45 minutes when I got there. So I ordered a smoothie and sat down. The smoothie didn't come out until the food which was a bummer. The place seems disorganized. I watched the cashier girl give the wrong order to two people and one persona she had to run out to the person and stop them to give them the rest of their order. Luckily another customer saw which car they were in otherwise the girl was going to just give up it seemed. We have been going to Suzy's for years and love their teriyaki beef and chicken combo. However, during our last few visits, we've noticed that the beef has been dry and tough. Today was the worst! I could hardly chew some of the beef--it was more like jerky. It was cut into perfect squares with fake grill marks. I guess we'll have to find a new go-to place. read more

I've been coming to Suzy's for a couple of years now. Their food is delicious and it's definitely gotten better over time. I've tried several things on their menu, including the teriyaki chicken, sesame chicken, Gyoza, egg rolls, chicken katsu, and the house fried rice. I would order all of them again. I also like that you can pretty much make anything a combo with the teriyaki chicken instead of the standard 3-4 things. One of these days I'll try to Korean food they have on the menu -- to me this makes them stick out as having a larger variety to choose from than most places. It's close enough to me to pick up but today I door dashed my order. When it came everything was still hot and smelled fresh. The portions are always worth it for the price. I took away a star for 2 reasons: (1) The salad dressing they use is really watery. Like it ends up being a pool of water on the bottom of the salad. I personally enjoy the salad that usually comes with teriyaki so the watery dressing was a bummer for me. (2) It is a bit pricier than some other places -- if that's something you care to consider. My dinner on door dash (entree + appetizer) for one person was $35 ($28 for the food plus fees). I got $5 off some of the fees for using a dash pass, but without that the total would've been closer to $40. Obviously, you don't have to worry about fees if you're picking up -- but still worth it to note that most of their entrees fall between $17-$23 per dish. And most of their appetizers are between $7-$13. Overall, I will continue to eat here. It's a good spot to try if you're looking in Puyallup! read more

Stopped in here to try the pho while in the area for work. It was ok. The broth was nothing special and I have had better broth with my pho. The spring rolls were well made though. Full of shrimp and fresh veggies. The teriyaki plates look good and I wouldn't kind going back to try something else. The server was very nice and accommodating as well. Dine in table did not have basic condiments usually on a dine in table like soy sauce and hot sauce. This is definitely my new go-to pho place! It's amazing how many pho's you can find on every corner and taste the difference in their food and how well their customer service is. It's a nice open space with big booths on both sides. We came on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all BUT they were super busy with takeout orders! It was one person after the other, it was crazy and they still managed to take care of me and my family at our table. The owner is a sweetheart and made me feel very welcomed and she checked up on us regularly. My sister & I was originally going to another Pho place but it was close so we found this gem while driving along the road! Once we got in, it was empty but a flood of door dashes & take out orders were in & out! The waitress was very nice & accommodating. It wasn't as busy so she wasn't too slammed with things to do! We ordered spring/fried roll for an appetizer & the original beef brisket pho - medium & large. Their large is pretty big so I prefer a medium. Please save your money for some food that you would end up eating and be satisfied. This place is one of those that you have to run away from... I spent $40 for me and my family to enjoy some food during this difficult times but each and every plate went in the trash. If I could give this place a 0 star review I would. I ordered spring roll- shrimp was very chewy as if it was bought already cooked and the warp wasn't even put together tight or properly.. it all fell apart and it tasted like plastic. I got shrimp fried rice- rice was over cooked and the shrimp was the same as the spring roll. I also had Vietnamese sandwich and it was horrible, everything was just slapped on the bottom and the dressing was way too watery which the broke the sandwich down and I had never seen it done on a soft Italian bread. Couldn't eat any of it. I am trying to support these small businesses and all I ask for return is to get somehow of a descent service. We have been stuck home for days and wanted to take these extra funds to eat out and support a small business but it turned into disaster. Now got to find out what we are going to eat for the rest of the day. Save your money and give it to a business that cares about feeding others with some descent food and care about you and not just the money. The atmosphere doesn't feel very inviting, and even tho we ate there the accessory pho food items were all brought in a bag almost like we were taking it to go. Really great tasting teriyaki with friendly service! I called in my order to go, it was a quick and painless and the lady on the phone told me it would take 10 minutes. We got there and picked up the food. Very generous price compared to the portions. My spicy chicken cost 10.99$ but I felt it could have feed two people, so there is definitely a high value factor. The chicken was cooked just right, not dry and the spicy sauce was flavourful. Service was quick and attentive and I will be coming back to try other dishes. I do enjoy the variety of dishes there.
