    Kimchi stew (16.99)

3.5 really. Ordered the kimchi stew (16.99) and spicy seafood champon (18.99). Both were just OK I think. Portion wise both were quite large and everything just tasted alright. I thought the Champon soup could've had a bit more flavor as it seemed a bit plain. The kimchi stew was pretty refreshing though. Nothing really stands out as particularly good or bad here it gets the job done for simple korean cuisine.

Tiny portions of kimchi as side dish. Had about 3 pieces in there...

We had 2 soon tofu stews, both with beef, for takeout. The food was pretty good, but we found it weird they put the soups inside clear plastic bags (our guess is that they wanted to prevent spilling), and their side dishes were basically nonexistent. I would give this place a 3.5star and I would try it again, maybe for dine in next time.

Decided to come here on rainy day and it was the best decision ever! I got the Spicy Stew (beef) and the portion size was decent! The soup was spicy and very warm! I like that they give I individual side to everyone instead of having a few small dishes for the table. Overall, good experience and would come back again!

Came here randomly on a Saturday night for dinner. We ordered the kimchi stew and the spicy squid. The squid was a bit burnt-the squid to veggie ratio was a bit off; more veggies than squid. The kimchi stew was yum yum though. It busy but we got a seat right away. It's a small place and the kitchen was opened so the place got a bit Smokey. Otherwise I enjoyed it. Will come back in the future.

Since Toronto is getting cold pretty soon, I got my favourite kimchi stew! Like any other traditional korean restaurant, the meal was served with side dishes. Seoulicious only gives three side dishes: kimchi, these glass noodles with soya sauce, and picked radish which is a step down from other restaurants but they do still do free refills. They also place the meal on a tray for you when they bring it to you. I think this makes it easier for you to eat (AND NOT SHARE YOUR SIDE DISHES) and for them to take it away. The kimchi stew was a much smaller portion that what I was expecting. The hotpot contained an abundance of onions and kimchi and an underwhelming serving of pork. I usually get kimchi stew since in other restaurants, the pork has very little fat and it's cooked just right. This kimchi stew had 5-6 chunks of pork fat with a small piece of meat on it.They serve the stew with a pretty good size of white rice which was warm. My sister finished her meal first but I was still eating but the servers brought the bill when we didn't ask for it yet. I felt like the server was trying to rush us out (?) by bringing the bill so early on. The restaurant wasn't too busy as well so I'm not sure why they did that.

a hidden place for korean eats near Wellesley TTC station. We got these 2 dishes to share between the 2 of us, and we were really stuffed by the end of it. They have all sorts of korean dishes and combos available, great for lunch and to share! The kimchi fried rice was pretty good, big portion, served with a fried egg on top! Just wish it was a bit more spicy. Super affordable! However, loved the soon tofu, We got the vegetable option, but meat and seafood option was also available as well. The soft tofu soup is pretty spicy~ so I loved it! It was super flavourful, the tofu melts in your mouth, and pairs super well with the bowl of rice. The warmness from the soup definitely warmed me up nicely. Kimchi Fried Rice - $10.00 Soon Tofu (Vegetable) - $15.00

Depending on the time of the day, this place may be packed but most of the time when I walk past here, I see empty tables. I came here past lunchtime and we were seated right away. What I like about it was that every dish came on its own tray plus your own banchan - a first for me. The bulgogi was very good, the only thing that made me give this place an ok rating was that the waitress gave us the receipt while I was 2/3 done my food. I found that a bit weird, I'm not sure if that's how they do it or they wanted us to finish faster.

There's tons of options for food in this area and I'm glad we ended up here. I had the spicy pork bowl and it can with miso soup and three sides. Everything was delicious, fairy healthy and very authentic. My brother got the LA ribs on a hot plate which looked amazing and definitely what i'm trying when i come back. We also shared a bacon and garlic pancake between the four of us and couldn't finish it all Relaxed atmosphere, and great for catching up with family and friends for a casual dinner, I'll definitely be back!

I ordered a bulgogi hot plate. Instead I was served some warm salad with bulgogi. Didn't realise a hot plate was 80% vegetables. Took a bite of it. ABSOLUTELY NOT BULGOGI. Tasted the noodles side dish. Just pepper. Not sure why bulgogi comes with that much vegetables since it isn't expensive to make Nor do I understand why it tastes nothing like bulgogi. Ordered the spicy rice cake. Why is it basically in flavoured water ??????? The sauce is meant to be a thick consistency. Go to seor ak san or anywhere in korean town. Or even the nearby bbq places... Pic of bulgogi before eating Pic of spicy rice cake after eating

Stopped by here for the first time a day or two ago. It was pretty much an accident since we intended on going to a different Korean place but somehow ended up here instead due to a miscommunication amongst the group. All I can say is that we were very lucky to end up here! The food was great, the prices were extremely reasonable and the portions were large. I myself got the bulgogi rice bowl which in my books is always a win wherever you happen to get it from but this one was really, really good. I would have to say my biggest regret was not getting the short rib tray that a friend of mine got. It looks so damn good and I think we will be going back in the next week or so just to get me my rib fix! All in all if you want a reasonably priced, great tasting and filling meal I highly recommend stopping by here

A fairly "modern" Korean restaurant, with interesting choices of drinks and food, and nice side dishes too. Prices are very competitive and reasonable for the area. In particular, their hot plates and soups are amazing for a cold winter's day meal while their cold noodles can be super refreshing in the summertime. Portions are average, maybe on the smaller side, so splitting an appetizer can be a good idea. Their pancake is also quite different and good to try out as a starter. Staff are attentive and quite helpful at explaining the menu. Food comes quickly and people tend to leave within an hour.

Open late at night, Seoulicious is the bomb for midnight dinners when it's a no go for pub food. My friend introduced me to it after we finished our Black Friday shopping. Luckily, we didn't have to fight for seats. It wasn't too packed, but there was a constant stream of customers. Therefore, you know it's probably not too hyped, but it's still highly revered in the area. The chefs serve standard Korean fare in a more modern setting. The lighting is dim, the tables are black, there are extra lighting fixtures in the corner, and the servers adorn black outfits. The interior is not over the top, but it's a pleasant alternative to the usual wooden and brown interiors of Korean restaurants (at least from the ones I've visited). Here, you will find your usual pancakes, ddukbokki, bibimbap, and hot plates. They are reasonably priced compared to other Korean restaurants in the downtown core. They are certainly not cheap eats, but you would have spent the same or more at a pub anyway. We ordered the ddukbokki, LA ribs, and Spicy Pork. The latter two came with individual side dishes instead of shared ones, a bowl of rice and a miso soup. All of them were flavourful and large in portion-size. I especially loved my spicy pork because the meat was cut into smaller pieces, thus allowing the sauce to be more noticeable with every bite. My only gripe that night was with the LA ribs because they were overdone. They weren't burnt, but they were unbearably chewy. If you like your ribs tender, then pass on this one. There are actually 4 levels of spiciness. My server recommended me to stick with what he called ''regular''. I was initially against it because I thought it would be too mild, but lo and behold, the ''regular'' spiciness was definitely a hot one. It wasn't mild and it wasn't over the top. It was the standard spicy kick you get at Korean restaurants in Toronto. If you're good with spiciness but not an extremist, stick with ''regular''. Seoulicious is a pretty fail-safe spot for Korean grub. It doesn't have outstanding prices and food quality. However, they're all fair. There's really no distinguishable factor between this establishment and others, except for the interior. It's open late at night, though, so It's a solid option if you're craving Korean munchies after a long day.

The broth was sweet, savoury, and not overly tangy. We got it with sweet potato noodles, which had the most satisfying and addictive chew. There was already so much meat and veg in there that you really don't need to add much else. My only thing is I wish there were more sweet potato noodles to go with everything in the bowl. We added the pig trotter (because duh!), which was perfectly seasoned, tender, and had that nice gelatinous texture. Because of how big the portion was, we took the leftovers home, added more glass noodles, and was still able to get two full meals out of it the next day! The MaoCai broth was pretty spicy. We went with medium, and were breaking a sweat. The numbing heat hits fast and makes it hard to sip on the broth while eating (definitely not for the weak). Still, it had a solid ratio of meat to veg to noodles, and everything held up well with the broth. The parfaits were exactly what we needed after all that hotpot. The Citrus Garden Green Tea had a nice blend of green tea, citrus, and coconut that worked surprisingly well together. But the Brown Sugar Black Tea Parfait was our favourite. The tapioca balls were perfectly chewy and not too sweet, and the mix of black tea and grass jelly gave it such a good combo of textures. It was rhe perfect cool down. From what I hear, if you can say their tongue twister 3x in 30s you can get 50% off their new ice cream parfaits!
